This is a actual yamaha and that says it all. . Superb workmanship, comfy suit, smooth twisted cable. Ear cushions are pretty delicate and at ease. The seem stage over the full vary. In general, it can be characterised as gentle, and saturated at the same time adequately transparent. Edge of superior and very low frequencies are reproduced properly. It is appealing to warmth about one hundred hours.

Good headphones for the rate. Had these five minutes so not burned in and they are destroying the four star rated (whathifi) sony cans i purchased, so i will be having rid of those people. Many months later, nevertheless loving these, and so relaxed too.

For the charge of these they are a amazing pair of headphones very easily competing with telephones in a considerably bigger cost bracket, i have experienced shut backs from just about just about every manufacturer and these definitely are one particular of the most effective i’ve listened to in the £100 – £300 bracket, for shut they have a terrific soundstage conveniently staying equipped to pinpoint devices, good good bass with no bleeding or muddiness, mids are a specific toughness with the highs by no means grating, all in all a really excellent buy. Here are the specifications for the Yamaha Electronics Yamaha HPH-MT220 Headphones:

Reviews from purchasers :

  • You would need to pay double for the same level of sound quality that these produce they are that good!!!
  • Highly revealing headphones, but not too cool or analytical.
  • Great headphones for the price

Large-killing shut headphones for a bargain selling price. . I’ve had several headphones above the 12 months, but these times, i have to have shut headphones, mainly because i use them in the same space as my girlfriend who is generally watching some terrible system like x-issue. This of course restrictions your selection. Formerly to this, i owned a pair of beyerdynamic dt250-80s, but above the a long time i have owned the likes of the dt531, dt770, dt880, dt931, dt990, sennheiser hd580, hd600, hd650, sony mdr-cd3000, and other numerous types of ultrasone, grado, akg and many others. Allow me tell you these are some of the greatest headphones i have at any time read, even ones quite a few instances the selling price would battle towards these. The finest way to explain the sound is really lively. The volume of depth on provide is staggering, and not significantly behind electrostatics. It offers you remarkable perception into your songs. The bass is extremely quickly and punchy, and audio is staggeringly distinct and open sounding. It won’t have amazing bass depth, but the over-all presentation of the new music is only remarkable for the price tag, and i would problem any one not to take pleasure in the audio it makes.

Remarkably revealing headphones, but not far too neat or analytical. . Headphones can be judged in many means, and lots of of these are subjective to the particular person customer. It’s actually superior to hear to a pair initially, but i took a chance and dealt with myself to these for my birthday when i saw them shown for £73. In specific they are extremely thorough and expose the recording atmosphere but, in spite of this, by no means harsh or tiring. This is a challenging balancing act – you can discover even additional revealing headphones, but lots of are tiring and, irrespective of their fine qualities, frankly ‘unmusical. ‘ yamaha likely made these for studio experts, but happily the mt220s are not as well awesome or analytical. Bass is restrained and tuneful – a excellent i like. With these you will uncover oneself listening to your favourites, 1 soon after the other, and making the most of new details, ( in particular if you near your eyes)and as a consequence, have on these for ages. Nonetheless there is just one problem.

Great sound quality, long enough cable for pretty much any purpose. The metal coil near the jack has a habit of popping out of its fixing and it very difficult to get back in, however.

You would need to pay double for the same level of sound quality that these produce they are that good. I am a bit of a headphone and earphone enthusiast. Up until now i’ve had around 50 sets, from budget sets £10-20, to sets all the way up to £250. The over ear sets i’ve had are sennheiser hd 650 (£250), akg k550 (£120) and soundmagic hp 100 (£120). The mt220 beats them all hands down. (i also have 4 x sets of iems around the £200 mark). Build – boring bit, they are pretty big headphones. Even at minimum setting they are quite big so know that before purchase.

For the cost of these they are a fantastic pair of headphones easily competing with phones in a much higher price bracket, i’ve had closed backs from just about every manufacturer and these truly are one of the best i’ve listened to in the £100 – £300 bracket, for closed they have a great soundstage easily being able to pinpoint instruments, good solid bass with no bleeding or muddiness, mids are a particular strength with the highs never grating, all in all a very good buy.

If you’re looking for a serious set of closed around-ear. If you’re looking for a serious set of closed around-ear headphones with no pre-equalized artifacts (e. Too much bass or other equalization presets), this is it. The sound is true and pure, any equalization has to be done manually (as it should, since these are monitoring headphones), and it handles the entire frequency range without effort. The only small downside is that these are non-foldable, so transport has to be done in big headphone cases, but as said these are studio monitoring headphones, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Giant-killing closed headphones for a bargain price. . I’ve had many headphones over the year, but these days, i have to have closed headphones, because i use them in the same room as my girlfriend who is usually watching some terrible program like x-factor. This obviously limits your choice. Previously to this, i owned a pair of beyerdynamic dt250-80s, but over the years i’ve owned the likes of the dt531, dt770, dt880, dt931, dt990, sennheiser hd580, hd600, hd650, sony mdr-cd3000, and other various models of ultrasone, grado, akg etc. Let me tell you these are some of the best headphones i have ever heard, even ones several times the price would struggle against these. The best way to describe the sound is very lively. The amount of detail on offer is staggering, and not far behind electrostatics. It gives you amazing insight into your music. The bass is extremely fast and punchy, and sound is staggeringly clear and open sounding. It doesn’t have amazing bass depth, but the overall presentation of the music is simply incredible for the price, and i’d challenge anyone not to enjoy the sound it makes.

Highly revealing headphones, but not too cool or analytical. . Headphones can be judged in various ways, and many of these are subjective to the individual buyer. It’s really better to listen to a pair first, but i took a chance and treated myself to these for my birthday when i saw them listed for £73. Using the headphone for the first time made me want to cry and dance at the same time. Which brings me to my only critique: the cable is a bit short for dancing. Right out of the box the headphone just produces great sound with the equalizer set flat. In the past i have used a dt-770 beyerdynamica, which was also good, but the yamaha mt220 made me appreciate music on a different level and i don’t want to go back anymore. Different people like different headphones, but this one made a non hifi-expert like me ecstatic. I chose it thanks to a more qualified and extensive review from dale thorn.

This is a real yamaha and that says it all. . Excellent workmanship, comfortable fit, soft twisted cable. Ear cushions are very soft and comfortable. The sound level over the entire range. In general, it can be characterized as mild, and saturated at the same time sufficiently transparent. Edge of high and low frequencies are reproduced well. It is desirable to heat approximately 100 hours.

Initially items 1st and aesthetically this is a definitely intelligent seeking bit of package, with a good velvet-appear carry bag. Sony MDR-XB500 Extra Bass Headphones – : An honest review.

It claims extra bass and thats what you get. I prefered this xb500 more than the sucessor xb600. As decribed, these headphones present a bass weighty response. That remaining said, the sound good quality is great for the cost, and the significant cusions give quite great noise isolation, provided there …
