Superb merchandise – satisfied all my anticipations. Fantastic products – met all my expectations. Effortless installationapp is effective flawlessly (android)have but to put in z-wave module to connect to smartthingsupdate 12/01/2017i’ve installed z-wave module and related to the smartthings hub. No problems and point out can be examine. Smartthings is unable though to unlock doors, not absolutely sure if this will be included to the lock at later time.

Skeptical at first – overall very good. At first i was skeptical but i’m pleased i made the purchase. The hardware i very nice and looks beautiful (for a door handle). The app was a temperamental at first but now seems to be working okay. The app interface needs a little face-lift, but it’s usable. The mobile keys are very handy for when people come to visit, i’ve used them twice now. It’s very easy to fit once you start. I’ve never fitted a door handle before. Wife and family are happy especially my son who’s in to his tech.

No extra simply call outs from tenants. Equipped this to a house we allow to student tenants as fed up with normal phone calls about dropped keys and getting to modify the lock cylinders or get a locksmith out. Fearful it would be a little bit plasticky but feels quite robust and has a excellent, robust lock motion. Simple job to healthy myself and looks excellent on the door. So far, so excellent …let’s see how it survives a pupil bashing for a couple months. Also hoping my plumber and trades will down load the app so i can send out them a code, fairly than using time off perform to hold out for them and let them in.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Impressive door lock.
  • Good product, but money grabbing practises from Yale spoil it a little
  • Great addition for my Smart Home – Almost Perfect only let down by Worst App in the World

Confusing at first, but okay once you get your head around how the keys are managed. Installed this today, took about 30 minutes following the guide carefully to make sure i didn’t miss any steps. Initially i mis-understood how the whole pairing of keys function worked and proceeded to try and pair all the fobs i had via the r button and the lock itself. Only to find myself locked out after walking the dog. Luckily i had the back door key with meso how it works is you pair a master/initial physical key using the button on the inside of the lock. This is the key you should keep somewhere safe so that you can use it if you lose yours. Once this has been done, all further keys (physical or virtual) should be setup via the app. If you pair another physical key via the door handle itself, you will erase whatever key was previously paired. As has already been mentioned on here and elsewhere, the app isn’t the greatest but other than occasionally being slow, i haven’t had any issues with it. So far i’ve only had it installed for a couple of hours but so far so good.

Interesting but slightly flawed. For a diy-phobic this lock was easier to fit than i anticipated. It’s helped not only by the instructions, which in a couple of places could have been clearer, but also through a video available via yale which also runs through the installation process. There are also other you tube videos which show installation. Having said that it took me about 90 minutes to install the lock rather than the 20 minutes suggested. Issues with installation include my front door having a ‘non-standard’ multipoint lock. Critically the space between the lock and the door handle was non standard. Luckily i have three other ‘standard’ door locks so fitted it to one of those. I also had issues deciding which of the three installation packs to choose. This all relates to the thickness of the door.

Yale’s conexis smart door lock was easier to fit than expected. I have a composite door so it was a simple case of removing the existing handles and cylinder, then following the instruction manual. This took around 30-40 minutes in total. Reviews of the app aren’t great but it seems to be working fine for me. After speaking to yale it’s clear improvements are being made and this appears to be showing. Looks beautiful on the door and a real talking point when we have people over.
