Blown away by the wired sound quality – as expected the bluetooth sound is less sharp, so you’ll want to use wired if possible. Having mostly had relatively cheap sennheisers, plus a few headphones in the £60-100 range, i wasn’t expecting to hear much difference from these, just some nicer materials and construction. Not only are these the most comfortable headphones i’ve tried, not only do they have the right level of noise isolation, not only do they feel solid and sturdy and come with a decent protective case, but they sound significantly better than any previous headphones i’ve owned. The difference was not just the balance of bass, mid-range and treble, which sounded spot-on to me, but the quality of that sound – hearing the individual plucking of strings which i hadn’t made out listening with other headphones. I was very tempted to drop a star because the price is substantial compared to what i’m used to, but i’d guess these are rather closer to reference headphones and then the price isn’t unreasonable. Not only that, but you get the option of using them as a bluetooth headset. Here is probably the main stumbling block – they’re the best bluetooth headphones i’ve tried, easily, but if you’re wanting to listen to music and want £250 sound quality, bluetooth just seems to lose a little bit – a slightly harsher treble, less rich bass. The audio is then more comparable with headphones costing quite a bit less.

The unboxing is true luxury, and the physical cutting of ribbon certainly adds to the ceremonial feel. The case is robust and deliciously tactile (whilst the cable and jack holder is ingenious there is something to be said regarding the weakness of velcro. But this is not a practical concern). Build is solid, leather supple, metalwork clean and overall appearance is slick. Extremely comfortable for long wear. Sound quality improves after a few weeks (lower end builds somewhat), but general opinion is one of clarity and well rounded depth. Bluetooth quality and connection experience superb. Only a subtle drop in low end.

Great headphones, not so great customer service. . Firstly, i cannot fault the headphones. For the last 14 months they have been one of, if not the best headphones i have ever owned. Great sound, comfortable to wear (even after extensive usage) and perfectly convenient being bluetooth. However, after 14 months of use mine have stopped working in the left ear. After hearing great things about their supposed ‘six star service’ i emailed the company explaining the situation hoping i could to get them repaired. To my dismay i was curtly told that as they were out of warranty (by 45 days) there was nothing they could do and i would simply have to buy a replacement pair as they do not offer any sort of repair service (even paid repair). In short, after only 14 months of use i am left with a broken pair of headphones and no option but to buy a new pair. Not what i expected from a £220 product or ‘6 star service’, and will seriously rethink about buying from v-moda again.

As a gift for my husband loves these sound excellent. As a gift for my husbandloves these sound excellent.

Style over substance – no aptx / apt-x bluetooth codec support = well behind the tech curve. A friend bought me these in the us – they are ok to good but seem more style over substance:v-moda wireless have no aptx / aptx or aptx-hd bluetooth codec support. – these codecs can give you ‘better than cd’ audio quality over bluetooth- with sennheiser, sony or audio technica you get real high quality audio tech – wired or bluetooth. – check all bluetooth audio devices for aptx + aptx hd codec support , or ldac with sony. Usa & canadian headphone & speaker brands are led by apple compatibility which is well behind the curve onaudio tech & wireless connectivity ( i. Only basic a2dp / sbc bluetooth codec support)check out jim’s review room ( you tube ) for up to date information & options in plain speak. V-moda is selling style (& maybe durability) not top quality audio performancebecause crucial components in delivering your sound are missing- save up £100 more and you can have seriously good aptx bluetooth headphonesthat won’t be redundant when the next gadget is released- e. 0 around ear wireless – has aptx + 22 hour battery life vs 12 with v-moda (= no brainer )check all bluetooth audio devices for aptx + aptx hd codec supportor if you like sony products then ldac (=hi-res)see:sennheiser momentum 2. 0 around ear wireless headset – blacksennheiser momentum 2. 0 around ear wireless headset – blackorsony mdr-1000x bluetooth noise cancelling high resolution audio headphonessony mdr-1000x bluetooth noise cancelling ambient sound touch sensor high resolution audio headphones – black’in audio – top quality technology is never cheap, but the enjoyment lasts much longer.

But it’s very tight around the head. But it’s very tight around the head. Should have stuck with the wired set.

I’ve had a pair of wired v-moda headphones for a few years now and i’ve loved them. They were getting on a bit, looked quite battered and i wanted to upgrade a to a wireless pair. I thought i’d trial a different brand (b&o) terrible idea, their quality doesn’t come close to v-moda. I sent them back and got a pair of these, one of my better decisions. If you like good quality audio and want wireless i’d recommend these.

V-moda launched a bluetooth version of their premium over-ear headphones that aim high on both style and function. The crossfade wireless has a detachable cable allows users to plug into their phone or computer directly over usb or standard 3. You can also add an optional boom mic for a extra noise cancellation beyond the headphone’s built-in mic. Metal hinges and the flexible headband have been tested for the long haul, though even if your pair dies for any reason, v-moda offers 50% off for anyone seeking a replacement. These headphones have also been specifically tested to work with the relatively weak bluetooth signal on android wear devices. On the style side, both sides have replaceable shields, for which v-moda offers a range of 3d printed and laser-etched metal options.

I’ve had these a while now and i’m very impressed. They sound awesome and are very comfy. The bluetooth connection has been unstable a couple of times, but it’s not been a big issue. The packing is very robust and a delight to open.

I am truly, madly, deeply and totally in love with these headphones. For several months, i have been searching for headphones that i could use for djing, and i have tested various brands including bose, pioneer, sony, technics sennheiser, all of which were disappointing for a variety of reasons. They just did not live up to expectations. 2 headphones i could not even hear the music out of. I could not believe my poor luck. Do quality control no longer test products before release for sale?. Finally, i read a review on google for the top 10 dj headphones and after listing the top 10, the reviewer singled out v-moda as his personal favourite, along with a pioneer ones, so, i decided to order these headphones for which i placed an order very late on friday night. The order arrived promptly the next day. Super fast servicei could not wait to open the box i was like a kid in a candy store, bearing in mind the review i had read the night before. The italians know a thing or 2 about style.

Very good clear punchy sound, plenty bass mids and top. Big drivers in a small unit. Stock pads too small and thin. Only downside is there is zero soundstage. Its all in your head, not around it, so no real seperation and ambience.

These are one of the best headphones i’ve usedbuild======they are beautiful looking. I have to admit they are more masculine looking than some. These are built survive falls, kicks and sitting on. The hinges are metal and are built for military purposes. Ok maybe not but i think they could be. I prefer the build of these. Comfort=========these are so comfortable. They are like little soft clouds. You can wear them for ages without any strain.

Unbelievable, great hearing experience. I have around 80 pairs of headphones ranging from £5 to these at £249 and can honestly say, these are far better than my bose b&o, which i paid £200 for both. They are comfortable on your ears and even though feel heavier in the hand, do not feel heavy whilst wearing on the head. I have worn them for up to 5 hours at a time and do not have any discomfort from then pinching, sweating or heaviness. The sound is crystal clear and now i hear the various deep layers of music that i have never heard before with my bose or b&o headphones. They are customisable so you can change the guards etc to your own taste. My husband and children have tested them too and think they are brilliant.
