Good headphones as either bluetooth or wired. They arrive in a plush stylishly designed box which though nice is a bit of overkill. The headphones are in a lovely tactile carrying case. Inside that are the cables for charging and connecting to an audio device. There’s a very small tiny-font manual explaining how to charge, orientate the cable and use the buttons during phone calls and bluetooth use. Charging was quick the led fades orange then goes a constant white when charged. Pairing with an iphone 5s is easy. They use buttons on the top of the right phone to play, pause or skip tracks and use with a smartphone. The sound quality is very good using korg’s iaudiogate app which offers an adjustable eq.

It’s been a little bit over 2 months since i got them. Before that, v-moda was always under low radar to me. I needed something for my work(music+wireless) and home (gaming). I did a ton of research and these had great reviews. I didn’t really know what to expect because this was the first i spent a bit more on the headphones. Absolutely awesome headphones. I compared the sound with momentum wireless and these are way better. And they cost lessunder normal conditions it works whole day on battery (8h) and a bit more the next day, but i do charge it every evening.

I have never had headphones that sound as clear and as crisp as these. I tried out the wireless setting first and it was very easy to set up. You have a button on the side which turns the bluetooth on and off. You hold it to the right for 3 seconds to pair it with whatever device you are using at the time. You can change song at the touch of a button, but to be honest it’s probably easier to change via your device. When you have the headphones on you don’t need to have them too loud to really appreciate it. It really does cut out all background noise as couldn’t hear a thing except the music. What i did notice is that when changing the volume via your phone it doesn’t work in tandem with the headphones.

“Believe the hype., Outstanding headphones, Stylish and sounds amazing”

I am truly, madly, deeply and totally in love with these headphones. For several months, i have been searching for headphones that i could use for djing, and i have tested various brands including bose, pioneer, sony, technics sennheiser, all of which were disappointing for a variety of reasons. They just did not live up to expectations. 2 headphones i could not even hear the music out of. I could not believe my poor luck. Do quality control no longer test products before release for sale?. Finally, i read a review on google for the top 10 dj headphones and after listing the top 10, the reviewer singled out v-moda as his personal favourite, along with a pioneer ones, so, i decided to order these headphones for which i placed an order very late on friday night. The order arrived promptly the next day. Super fast servicei could not wait to open the box i was like a kid in a candy store, bearing in mind the review i had read the night before. The italians know a thing or 2 about style.

Superb wireless headphones for modern music. . Over the past few weeks i have tried out quite a few over-ear bluetooth headphones in a mad search for the ‘ultimate’ bluetooth headphone. I have tried the bose qc35’s, v-moda crossfade wireless and now the sennheiser pxc550’s (i wanted to also try the new sony mdr1000x models but they appear to be sold out with a two month waiting list – and i’m the impatient type. My usual wired headphones consist of the following (all of which are used regularly):ultimate ears triple fi 10 – in ear monitor1more hybrid triple driver – in ear monitorsony xba h1 – in ear monitorapple earpods – fall out of ear earbudaudio technica ath50x – full size over-ears (make you look a bit like a cyberman)playback electronics include:samsung galaxy note 2 (an excellent audio player – especially with the inclusion of neutron). 5 – also quite nice sound quality through headphone out – even with stock romagptek h01 – micro sd based lossless player with a very powerful amplifier on-board. My music tastes are beginning to vary in my old age – rush, pink floyd, queen, bach, fleetwood mac, vivaldi, william orbit, hanz zimmer – you get the idea. Most of my music is well-encoded mp3’s (either 320k rips – some of the older stuff ripped using eac/lame (with some cool psycho-acoustical filtering applied) and some downloaded flac files. In other words, perhaps not the best in the world but certainly a significant step up from entry-level. My criteria in order of importance is:sound qualityvolumeability to pair with two phonesreliable bluetooth connectionbattery lifefacility to use wired connectioncomforti can tolerate some discomfort as i am frequently having to remove my headphones when working but they’ve gotta sound good and loud. I normally like a sound signature that’s neutral (with perhaps just a hint of deep bass) normally. I don’t tend to mind a slight dip in treble as i’m quite sensitive to shrieking upper mids (that’s what happens when you’re married). The ideal sound signature for me normally comes from my ultimate ears triple fi’s and 1more triple driver in ear monitors. Externals and bluetooththe v-moda’s feel reassuringly solid – this is helped by the metal shields which give the headphones a rather unique look. Whilst smaller than some over-ear headphones i find them reasonably comfortable.

In the last couple of years i have bought 4 or 5 headphones. Ultraclean sound, customizable and very comfortable.

Great headphones, not so great customer service. . Firstly, i cannot fault the headphones. For the last 14 months they have been one of, if not the best headphones i have ever owned. Great sound, comfortable to wear (even after extensive usage) and perfectly convenient being bluetooth. However, after 14 months of use mine have stopped working in the left ear. After hearing great things about their supposed “six star service” i emailed the company explaining the situation hoping i could to get them repaired. To my dismay i was curtly told that as they were out of warranty (by 45 days) there was nothing they could do and i would simply have to buy a replacement pair as they do not offer any sort of repair service (even paid repair). In short, after only 14 months of use i am left with a broken pair of headphones and no option but to buy a new pair. Not what i expected from a £220 product or “6 star service”, and will seriously rethink about buying from v-moda again.

But it’s very tight around the head. But it’s very tight around the head. Should have stuck with the wired set.

I’ve had a pair of wired v-moda headphones for a few years now and i’ve loved them. They were getting on a bit, looked quite battered and i wanted to upgrade a to a wireless pair. I thought i’d trial a different brand (b&o) terrible idea, their quality doesn’t come close to v-moda. I sent them back and got a pair of these, one of my better decisions. If you like good quality audio and want wireless i’d recommend these.

V-moda launched a bluetooth version of their premium over-ear headphones that aim high on both style and function. The crossfade wireless has a detachable cable allows users to plug into their phone or computer directly over usb or standard 3. You can also add an optional boom mic for a extra noise cancellation beyond the headphone’s built-in mic. Metal hinges and the flexible headband have been tested for the long haul, though even if your pair dies for any reason, v-moda offers 50% off for anyone seeking a replacement. These headphones have also been specifically tested to work with the relatively weak bluetooth signal on android wear devices. On the style side, both sides have replaceable shields, for which v-moda offers a range of 3d printed and laser-etched metal options.
