Soundmagic E80 In Ear Isolating Earphones – : Volume control keeps breaking

Earphones
1

Superior for vacation and if you get your headphones generally. They’re resilient, superior for vacation and if you get your headphones usually tangled up. The situation is also helpful if you want to consider much better treatment of them and arrives with one more computer system three. 5mm jack adapter and a slitter for microphone and audio. The seem is alright for earbuds at this selling price range but to make the most of it, have them securely inside of your ears. Microphone is decent and the controls are fairly awkward if you want to improve tracks or quit due to the fact that button is in involving the quantity up and down.

Great product only negative is the volume control is extremely sensitive.

These are the most effective earphones i have had the satisfaction of possessing so considerably. Also have the beyerdynamic dx160 which are very pleasant but these e80s blow them out of the drinking water. Pretty much tempted to acquire a next pair for again up. Would have fortunately paid out double to have them. Astonishingly specific, expansive sound. Get a pair of these and you won’t regret.

Comments from buyers

“great sound, good value, unsure about build quality, Looks and sounds great from a great audio company!, Excellent earphones with caveats”

Great sound with minor reservations. Not usually a user of in ear phones but needed a decent pair for my fiio x3ii that i could bundle into a pocket quickly. Initial listens were very disappointing and i almost consigned them to the back of the drawer as they seemed harsh, tinny, and completely bass-less. Tried all the supplied tips but they didn’t make any difference to the sound. I tried an old pair of grain audio in ear phones and they sounded fantastic on the x3 – so, in desperation i tried the tips i had on those, and hey presto the bass has come up and the treble is tamed. A few other reviews have mentioned the lack of bass and i almost agreed, but they are obviously very fickle and need careful choosing of the right tips. Maybe it’s my ear canals that are odd, but i’ve not had this problem before. Build quality is pretty good but the braided cable does transmit noise if it rubs on clothing etc. Maybe if the cable had a fabric type outer lining this would fix this issue. Due to the problems with the correct tip and noise transmission up the cable they drop a star.

Not low-cost but very well woth the dollars as these earphones give incredible sound. The wires are a little braided and are a small little bit stiffer than other makes and coated in plastic – which is a great point as they are not simply tangled. The only (slight) draw back is,individually i dont like the forty five* angle of the jack plug but the audio and build quality is great.

Quite specific but treble marginally also a great deal. . The sounds are so thoroughly divided that it is surely a fantastic delight to hear to new music from them. Two criticisms i have for them are, first of all, the headphones do not block out the seems so very well. I know they do not have lively noise cancellation, which is good, but my past sennheiser cx300 also did not but also canceled the seem a ton better. The other difficulty i have with them is that the treble is a little bit too potent, which can make some music i listen to, come to feel alternatively lifeless. Or else, they are continue to unquestionably worth for cash. I made a decision to maintain them in the end as their upsides undoubtedly overtake the challenges i experienced with them. All round i would suggest them.

Good sound quality but difficult staying in ear. . Good sound quality however i have a problem with the fitting. It keeps falling out of my ears which was solved by wrapping cable around my ear before putting the bud in my ear. Soundmagic should provide an ear holder which essentially does the same thing by avoiding the line having any drag force when plugged in the ear. Other than that the sound quality is quite good, the remote sound controls work on my iphone but not on lg g5 work phone, however sound and mic works on latter.

Even ed sheeran would sound good through these. . These have the build and audio quality of ear phones costing 3x the price. Chuck those crappy iphone earbuds away.

The sound was crystal clear. The sound was crystal clear. High and low notes are clearly heard and there were enough buds to fit all ear sizes.

Very precise but treble slightly too much. . The sounds are so carefully separated that it is definitely a great delight to listen to music from them. Two criticisms i have for them are, first of all, the headphones do not block out the sounds so well. I know they do not have active noise cancellation, which is fine, but my previous sennheiser cx300 also did not but also canceled the sound a lot better. The other issue i have with them is that the treble is a bit too powerful, which can make some music i listen to, feel rather lifeless. Otherwise, they are still definitely value for money. I decided to keep them in the end as their upsides definitely overtake the issues i had with them. Overall i would recommend them.

These headphone offer very good sound quality for the price. However, you may have to experiment with the spare earbuds that come with the earphones to achieve good results. The ones fitted gave a very tinny sound, but i found a couple of pairs in the bag that totally transformed the sound quality and fitted snuggly in my ears. It’s also worth bearing in mind that the sound quality will only be as good as the device and file format you are listening to. Highly compressed files on a low end phone or music player will not give these earphones a chance to sing.

Not cheap but well woth the money as these earphones give amazing sound. The wires are slightly braided and are a little bit stiffer than other makes and coated in plastic – which is a good thing as they are not easily tangled. The only (slight) downside is,personally i dont like the 45* angle of the jack plug but the sound and build quality is excellent.

Great sound, good value, unsure about build quality. Sound – i haven’t used many good earphones before these – you can immediately tell these are the real deal when you first listen. Very very clear and detailed, with a surprising amount of separation and soundstage sort of. I’m hearing details in songs that i hadn’t heard before, even with my modded and amped t20rp. I’d seen people complaining about the bass prior to buying, but the bass is fine for me – not boomy at all, and it’s not a warm sound earphone, but the bass is accurate and fast. Overall neutral to my ears, i’m very happy with the sound. Accessories – really great, good selection of tips, especially with the 3 sizes of comply foams. Very solid compact carry case. I’m using the double tips at the moment, but i haven’t actually tried the complys yet. Foam tips do tend to have a totally different level of comfort, but i’m not into having to squeeze them every time you want to put them in your ears, and the fact that they disintegrate after a month or so of use.

Still great, but not so much better compared to e10. If you’d ever find yourself hesitating whether to choose the e10 or the e80, just go with the e10. I have both of them and they both are fantastic earphones, but there’s not much difference between the two, at least, not as much that would worth the extra money. E80 will give you deeper and softer bass, e10 blasts deeps somewhat harsher and stronger, but not in a boomy way at all. E10 feels more solid, i think – the whole thing is metal, while e80’s back side is some kind of rubbery plastic. E10’s cable is slightly thicker and springier – so it won’t tangle as easily as the e80. On the other hand, e80’s connector is better, it’s broken at 60 degrees.

So after reading all the reviews and speaking to soundmagic about what they recommend based on my usage i finally went ahead and purchased the e80 standard. No inline extras as i use them with my pc through a soundcard. Now i’ve gone from a £30 pair of sennheiser to these and i read reviews from people saying the cheaper in ear buds are better but this all must fall down to people’s hearing?.The difference for me was huge, in fact these are so detailed on sound i had to strip all the sound alterations off my soundcard as these in ears provide such awesome bass and the sound range is huge. I’m hearing sounds that previously would just be masked into the bass or not even played on the cheaper in ears. Build quality is brilliant and they never tangle unlike my sennheiser which advertised anti-tangle cable but always tangled. The in ear buds come with lots of sizes which is nice and the 3 sizes of comply but after years of using silicone tips i found the comply made my ears sound blocked so stuck with the silicone. Make sure you get a nice fit and the sounds will feel like they’re in the room with you.

Decent but not over-powered bass. . Decent bass and comfort and definitely did well to reduce external sound.

Good for travel and if you get your headphones usually. They’re durable, good for travel and if you get your headphones usually tangled up. The case is also handy if you want to take better care of them and comes with another computer 3. 5mm jack adapter and a slitter for microphone and audio. The sound is alright for earbuds at this price range but to make the most of it, have them securely inside your ears. Microphone is decent and the controls are somewhat awkward if you want to change tracks or stop since that button is in between the volume up and down.

Not bad but not fantastic either. Iwas expecting good things after reading other reviews but the sound quality isn’t as good as expected. Also the buttons for volume and pause feel cheap. The volume buttons don’t work reliably and the pause you have to press really hard. This is the most i have spent on in eat head phones but honestly my old betron ones in the £40-£50 bracket were better. I think these are overpriced.

Great product if you do not need a microphone with your earbuds. Fabulous earbuds, would have been nice to have been able to get the microphone version for the price these were at, so value wise a little steep to say they have no microphone. However if you don’t need a microphone they are perfect.
