Sony MDRNC11 Open Noise Cancelling Headphones, Great for the Economy Class Traveller

Noise Cancelling Headphones

Excellent seem but not too handy. The noise cancelling is good. The only factor is the switch is as well large and someday could be issues.

I know this appears corny, but i never compose opinions. However i was traveling to the usa, which i do on a normal basis, my old noise cancelling earphones for some purpose were not performing as they need to and i wanted to replace them. I seemed at these new sony types and they were being two times the price i experienced compensated for my previous set – wondering oh effectively, you only get what you shell out for i bought some – remark – absolutely amazing .

Sony mdrnc11 so superior its not of this world. These headphones are unbelievable. The seem quality is great and the bass reaction for the dimension of the ear items will make me assume they are from an additional planetthe noise cancelling really functions. Persons cannot hear what your listening to at total volume and you are not able to hear any individual conversing right next to you, so do not use these although drivingthey are a minimal pricey but the engineering and sound high quality definately make up for it.

Acquired this item for a pal. Bought this product for a close friend and the provider had the appropriate products and rate. I are not able to say how these headphones conduct as they were being obtained for a close friend on my recommendation. I have experienced a comparable established from sony myself for a lot more than 20 yrs now and they have been with me lots of moments around the entire world and i would not choose a extensive flight without them.

Sony MDRNC11 Open Noise Cancelling Headphones : Great on planes, ok on trains. These headphones come into their own on a plane, where the constant roar is reduced to a quiet hiss. This means you can listen to music in comfort, or just turn off your music source and enjoy the peace. The noise cancelling effect is marginal on a train, and negligible with irregular sources such as voices or general office background noise. Battery life is good, and anyway you only need to replace one aaa battery. It took a while to get them to fit my ears, but sony provide covers in 3 sizes so you have to experiment. Because of the extra weight in each earpiece (i. The microphones that pick up the ambient noise), they’re prone to fall out if you move about. So i’ve gone back to regular headphones for normal use.

Bought this product for a friend. Bought this product for a friend and the supplier had the right product and price. I cannot say how these headphones perform as they were purchased for a friend on my recommendation. I have had a similar set from sony myself for more than 20 years now and they have been with me many times around the world and i would not take a long flight without them.

The item is easy to handle and since there are three dimensions of the ear piecesit should fit almost anyone. Good background noise cancelling even with the function offdue to the deep insert into the ear. With the cancelling function on it works very well e.

Whilst these are not the cheapest headphones they are worth the money. The earplugs are comfortable and the seal is secure. The noise cancellation facility works well in a variety of environments.

Good item – not as good as the premium products as you would expect and more suited to long flights. I’ve found it useful during flights to the us where i can now sleep because of these.

Good sound but not too convenient. The noise cancelling is good. The only thing is the switch is too big and sometime could be trouble.

I read other reviews before buying and writing this, and i must say i agree with most: if there is not really a background noise to cancell, there is an annoying hiss, like a sssssssssss, but then, you can switch noise cancelling off (you do not need it if there is no background noise to cancell) in a plane, you do not notice the hiss, but noise cancellation is not complete, just a good reduction (i did not expect more for this price) that you can notice when you switch them off. On top of that, ear buds provide a good isollation by themselves, and sound quality is ok (but i am not too demanding on this point). In a train or similar places, i have notice the hiss can still be audible while some noise is cacelled, so it will depend what annoys you most: i personally tend to get habituated to the hiss in less than a minute, so i still use them in these situations.

Canceling function works pretty fine. Earphones are comfortable and the fact that they are served with 3 different sizes of plugs is really handy. Yet, bass is overly exaggerated: so the after the nice noise cancelling and confort, the sound you end up getting is a little bit disapointing.

I was a little sceptical & hesitant when i bought these earphones, because the last so-called “noise cancelling” ones i bought were just “noise reducing” ones – read the advert carefullythese ones are `just the job’ though & although they were cheap, they sound really very good. I especially like the base response, the treble is also nice & crisp too. Once you get used to the fact that to appreciate the base tone properly you have to push the ear piece right into the ear canal. There are three different sizes of earpiece & surprisingly i can just about manage to fit the small ones. You can turn the “active” noise suppression on & off; i prefer to keep it on as it sounds better anyway. There is a very convenient unit on the earphone lead that also allows you to adjust the volume. This unit takes a normal aaa battery and lasts many hours, enough for the average flight to europe or the middle east i guess. The reason i bought the noise-reduction ear pieces was for when i was flying & to cut out the background noise of the airplane, which works very well indeed. I’m sure it would fair just as well on a train etc.
