They were bought to replace a pair of philips headphones, they have no distortion compared to the philips pair. They even have a great stand to store and charge them on. They charge quickly and they last forever. I would recomend them to everyone.

An excellent product, just what you would expect from sony. Very comfortable to wear even for extended use. As to the range, i only used them around the house, but they seemed quite adequate. I thought there was a problem at first as the sound cut out after about ten minutes use, but this was cured by increasing the volume of the source, and using the volume control on the headphones to reduce the volume.
These have transformed the way i listen to music, particularly as i’ve just finished putting all my 80s vinyl onto cd and there was a limit to how much more ac/dc and iron maiden my wife could take. They are supremely comfortable, very easy to operate and dock/charge, and the stand plugs into pretty-much anything with a 3. The sound quality is extremely good (in fact, it can show up deficiencies in the equipment you’re playing the cd on: don’t connect the headphones up to a tatty old laptop, for example) and it’s a revelation to hear cds i’ve had for years in crystal clear sound. The range is excellent too: they work everywhere in our quirky old house, which is a rabbit-warren of small rooms with thick walls, as well as right down the end of the garden. A few small downsides you should be aware of. There is a very (but it is only very) small amount of noise leakage. The volume control can get adjusted by, say, the collar on a puffa jacket. And sometimes they do slip very slightly if you have a small head.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Excellent – Just as expected from a Sony product.
- Earphones Comfort.
- Sound of the crowd
Dont forget to buy the extras. Good set of well made phones, comfortable & good sound, trouble free mobility. Now the pathetic bits; supplied with a very short lead (audio plug to phono plug)to connect to sound source, and the even more pathetic; supplied with 2 pin plug to connect to mains and no 3 pin mains adapter just for the benefit of amazon – the next time i spend british pounds on a british website and you supply me with a non british plug the item will be going straight back to you for a refund.
Sony wireless closed over-ear headphones. Being some what deaf i need a set of headphone to listen to the tv while the wife was in the same room and not the other side of town , these sony headphones fitted the bill you get realy clear sound its just like being in a room with full sound system. Yes they not cheap but then you only get what you pay for , the best bit is when you finsh you put them back on the charge and thats it till next time. As for range i live in a big house and no matter what room i am in the sound is clear. So all in all good set of headphones good sound.
