Sony MDR-ED 21 LP Headphones : Good in-ear headphones

Good value for money headphones for jogging. Great sound quality at a very good reasonable price and with a discreet comfortable look. I use it for the gym to run on the treadmill (the only ones that really stick in your ears without having to re-adjust while running). I am buying this again, because i like them so much (i wore out the other ones after 3 years and lost the plastic cover). Strong buy for me, the other ones are overprices for the benefits.

This is the 3rd pair of these in-ear phones that i have bought over the a long time, and they carry on to emit an superb, crystal-crystal clear seem with a huge range in tone – deep resounding bass and very clear (but not noisy) treble. The in-ear format sits snuggly in your ear with no soreness whatsover, and for me, they sit incredibly firmly too. I can switch my head vigorously from side to aspect knowing they will not fall out. An fantastic order from a nicely-acknowledged trusted producer. Here are the specifications for the Sony MDR-ED 21 LP Headphones:

I experienced a pair of these for a 12 months or so and they worked actually very well so when they did last but not least drop aside i went straight back again and bought a further pair.

I considered i did an intensive enough study but alas, practically nothing in the other reviews indicated these are actually only fantastic for hip-hop and rnb /not that i don’t really like these models/. Briefly – fantastic design and style, great in good shape, awesome bass. But the treble is still left at the rear of. If you wanna listen to everything like heavy steel and classical new music that calls for a good balance of bass and treble, just. Don’t go for these – the new music is just spoilt. Usually, they are two courses higher than something else i have tried using for the similar money – fuller sound in basic and further bass – oh yeah, no grievances in that division. Soon after shopping for four pairs in the sub-£25 price vary, i imagine my friend’s advice is spot on – the only way to get a decent pair of headphones that you really don’t require to alter each six months is to go for one thing in the £50-£80 cost selection. Anything a lot less and you will normally have to compromise.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Good in-ear headphones
  • Great headphones!
  • My favourite low cost headphones

Which magazine gave these top rated marks for in-ear headphones, and they are great. Really don’t be expecting the overall performance of correct headphones, but of this little variety a person of the greatest i have tried. Also attempted the sennheiser in-ear proposed by which, but they had been lousy with unusual scratchy treble notes. At the price tag of the sony ones you probably can not do much far better.

My favourite minimal cost headphones. I like to pay attention to new music and generally carry close to costly iems. But when it arrives to anything small price that you can lug about or do sports in, these are perfect. A strong bass and a very good grip in ear (i have little-ish ear canals).

My favourite low cost headphones. I love to listen to music and usually carry around expensive iems. But when it comes to something low cost that you can lug about or do sports in, these are perfect. A powerful bass and a very good grip in ear (i have small-ish ear canals).

This is the 3rd pair of these in-ear phones that i have bought over the years, and they continue to emit an excellent, crystal-clear sound with a massive range in tone – deep resounding bass and clear (but not noisy) treble. An excellent purchase from a well-known reliable manufacturer.

They are cleverly designed not to go too deep in the ear. They arrived as promised and the whole transaction worked very smoothly.

Sony mdr-ed 21 lp headphones. They are light, stylish and the sounds (particualrly the bass) is brilliant. The only problem i have encountered is that they only last for around a year (probably because i use them every day in the gym and walking to work). However, at that price it’s no biggy to keep buying replacements.

I have used these earphones almost every day for two years, this is my second pair or the same earphone and they are the best i have had. My ears are too small for in-ear earphones and i was searching for an alternative and these came up so i thought i’d try them and i love them. The very forst pair i got (about five years ago) were a bit big for my ears at first, and i must admit it was a bit painful as other reviewers have stated, but its as if my ears have grown to their size and now they are very comfortable. The cable feels elastic, like rubber, it feels like you could drop them and they would bounce. Because of this characteristic, they can easily bend and will not tear (others i have had have done in the past). The outside of the earpeice is made from a hard plastic and each earpeice states either ‘r’ or ‘l’, which conviniently stops you getting the two mixed up. The part which goes into the ear is made from a flexible soft – medium plasic which will not bend too easily, it goes perfectly into your ear every time, the material prevents them from ripping. They are good for if you are listening to music on the go as the wire is very thin and discreet and is long enough not to pull on your clothes, but of course it depends also on how you are wearing the earphones. The connector at the other end of the wire bends at a ninety degree angle (as shown on the picture) which is perfect for if you put your mp3 player/i-pod into your pocket as it will not bend or tear.

This style has been around forever with sony and i hope they never change it. The fit is good however it can feel a little big when you first put it on but you soon get accustomed to it and it doesn’t fall out. I like to hear what’s around me as well as my music especially when on the underground. They do not have the best base or sound quality but they are good enough. These are a great pair of utility headphones, great quality at a very good price.

I thought i did an extensive enough research but alas, nothing in the other reviews indicated these are actually only good for hip-hop and rnb /not that i don’t love these styles/. Briefly – good design, good fit, amazing bass. But the treble is left behind. If you wanna listen to anything like heavy metal and classical music that requires a good balance of bass and treble, just. Don’t go for these – the music is just spoilt. Otherwise, they are two classes above anything else i’ve tried for the same money – fuller sound in general and deeper bass – oh yeah, no complaints in that department. After buying 4 pairs in the sub-£25 price range, i think my friend’s advice is spot on – the only way to get a decent pair of headphones that you don’t need to change every 6 months is to go for something in the £50-£80 price range. Anything less and you will always have to compromise.

Which magazine gave these top marks for in-ear headphones, and they are good. Don’t expect the performance of proper headphones, but of this small type one of the best i have tried. Also tried the sennheiser in-ear recommended by which, but they were poor with strange scratchy treble notes. At the price of the sony ones you probably can’t do much better.

Surpasses much higher price ear-buds. For years i have been a big fan of bose speaker systems, so when the company came out with their first and maybe their only in-ear headphone, i rushed out and bought one for $106, after a few months of listening i became truly disappointed, more so when i got a pair of sony mdr-ed21 ear-bud which cost me only $18, let me hasten to say that high-quality sound is very important to me, and i can say without a doubt that the sony has outperformed the bose by a wide margin, it is way more dynamic, transparent and has somewhat of a depth to the sound, i really wish i had the opportunity then to do a side-by-side comparison, because i would have returned the bose, i must also add that i got the opportunity to listen to bose more expensive noise cancelling headphones in an apple store and they are very bassy, just like the ones i bought, so folks who are in to drumming might like them, but others like me who like to hears vocals and treble should really look elsewhere, i know that these $18 babies will not compare to the likes of sennheiser or the etymotic er-4s, i havent had the chance to listen to those, but folks i conclude by saying, pay close attention to sound quality and not marketing hype by these overrated companies, i didnt give five stars here because i havent heard the sennheiser or the etymotic good luck delbert g (georgia, u.
