Do a decent position, bad cables. I have only experienced these for 24 hours, but i can explain to straight away that i assume they are accomplishing a excellent task. Poor things: i get the very same link challenge to a z5 that other people have experienced with z2 or z3 – the link cuts out and i have to push enjoy. This took place in a cluster of about 3 breaks, but hasn’t happened given that. Its a bit of a discomfort owning to ‘find’ the headphones as a usb machine every single time i plug them in. Good things: its an elegant solution to a challenge, no need to have to have a 2nd box to carry close to if you want first rate dac decrypted audio. It will participate in up to 192kps data files, flac and dsd. Battery existence appears fantastic (i use them on an hour and a 50 percent commute). Construct good quality is excellent, as is ease and comfort. Wonderful box with a superior array of cables, manuals and a sturdy bag to put your cans in when not in use.

Not certain i might be pretty as delighted if i would paid £250. I picked these up from amazon for all-around £130 just not too long ago (obtaining witnessed the regular retail rate of all around £250) and imagine for this selling price these are an complete steal. Not certain i’d be very as joyful if i might paid out £250. Do not like that they only have eight hours battery time. Whilst this is far more than plenty of for any one listening session (or a working day out) you do have to don’t forget to charge them each and every and just about every day if you are a large user. Do like that they are comfortable. Also the sound high-quality is excellent. Deep, challenging hitting, restricted bass. Lovely easy and loaded mids and tingling sharp (but not shrill) highs.

I have had these for a calendar year now and they are really excellent headphones,i use them with my sony zx100’s and the hi res new music player on my personal computer. Audio quality is superb, some critiques point out low volume but i have not absent past 50 percent volume on mine and it is a great deal loud. Potentially it is unit dependant, linked to my walkman it is simply amazing. I do hear to mostly dsd and flac even though so that allows i’m certain. I really like them and remarkably propose a acquire.

Superb with 24 bit tunes on my z3. Wonderful pair of headphones with quite good sound high-quality, operates excellent with its possess designed in dac, signifies it’s going to bypass your device’s amp and gives you a recognizable clearer sound. It beats anything at all i’ve had from bose and even my in ear displays from westone.

Around the yrs i have a variety of dacs and headphones which offers the probability to incorporate them to get an fascinating sound dependent on the kind of songs you are listening. When the sony mdr-1adac was announced, i considered it was about time someone would combine a pair of headphones with a designed-in dac. When the cost was underneath what was usually advertised, i obtained a set of them. What was intriguing was the sum of cables that was obtainable to interface with your transportable machine (notice i was only interested in the computer system/charging cable to hook up to my pc/notebook (for this, you require to down load a driver)). Next a straight forward set up it was time to play. General the audio was brilliant and warm, a vast sound stage and not significant on the bass. With no the crafted-in dac (cable equipped) the headphone sound rather good and will operate nicely with a standalone dacs.

The audio is superior, like in imax cinema.

Not sure i’d be quite as happy if i’d paid £250. I picked these up from amazon for around £130 just recently (having seen the regular retail price of around £250) and think for this price these are an absolute steal. I’ve had these for a year now and they are really excellent headphones,i use them with my sony zx100’s and the hi res music player on my pc. Sound quality is superb, some reviews mention low volume but i haven’t gone past half volume on mine and it is plenty loud. Perhaps it is device dependant, connected to my walkman it is simply amazing. I do listen to mostly dsd and flac though so that helps i’m sure. I love them and highly recommend a purchase.

Do a decent job, poor cables. I’ve only had these for 24 hours, but i can tell straight away that i think they are doing a good job. Bad stuff: i get the same link problem to a z5 that others have had with z2 or z3 – the connection cuts out and i have to press play. This happened in a cluster of about 3 breaks, but hasn’t happened since. Its a bit of a pain having to ‘find’ the headphones as a usb device every time i plug them in. Good stuff: its an elegant solution to a problem, no need to have a second box to carry around if you want decent dac decrypted audio. It will play up to 192kps files, flac and dsd. Battery life seems good (i use them on an hour and a half commute). Build quality is excellent, as is comfort. Nice box with a good range of cables, manuals and a sturdy bag to put your cans in when not in use.

Full digital input from iphone 6- use usb camera connector and hd onkyo hf player (see comment). Using the iphone 6 with the usb camera connector(£25. 00), onkyo hf player with the hd pack add on (£7. 99) and the supplied pc/ charge cable – but connect to the non-pc/charge input on the headphonesif you try and connect the cable to the pc/ charge input on the headphones a message will pop up and say you are drawing too much power. So use the other usbabsolutely superb sound quality for the price.

These are brilliant headphones . I bought them to replace my mdr1-a headphones , which i liked very much , but these are far superior.

Following a straight forward setup it was time to play. Overall the sound was bright and warm, a wide sound stage and not heavy on the bass. Without the built-in dac (cable supplied) the headphone sound pretty good and will work well with a standalone dacs.

Fantastic with 24 bit music on my z3. Fantastic pair of headphones with very nice sound quality, works fantastic with its own built in dac, means it’ll bypass your device’s amp and gives you a noticeable clearer sound. It beats anything i’ve had from bose and even my in ear monitors from westone.
