Superb noise cancelling and amazing sound. Spent time researching best headphones to buy and these lived up to expectstion. The noise cancelling on these headphones is incredible and up there with the likes of bose but for considerably lower price. Using them on a plane brings pure calm. Less effective at removing higher frequencies but great nonetheless. Sound quality excellent, battery life superb, carry case a nice addition. Connects rapidly via bluetooth.
😀 comfortable although not very light (all that in-built technology) and. Noise cancellation function has really improved the train journeys. 😀 comfortable although not very light (all that in-built technology) and very soft on the ears.

You can’t go wrong with sony headphones. I am not an audiophile, so i will not expand on that topic.
My choice for sub £250 after a lot of research. . Update – went on the london tube and the noise cancelling struggled with the noise made going in and out of tunnels to and from stations. Not something i noticed with the beats. So if you’re using the tube a lot, buy with caution. I’ve just bought these to replace the +£300 beats wireless noise cancelling headphones that i have had for the past 3 years. I wear them twice a day for over 2 hours a go, so over 4hrs listening 5 days a week. The beats plastic has degraded and is coming apart – so i looked for a replacement. I didn’t want to go into the £300 range again, so the highly regarded bose wireless quiet headphones in this price range were out of the question. After lots of research and the fact that these were sub £200 at the time of purchase, i decided to go with this sony pair.
Sony MDR-100AAP High Resolution Overhead Headphones – Black : Above average but not worth the price. After 50hrs+ of use i really wanted to like these headphones but, – bass is extremely underwhelming, pretty quiet on my s7 edge, ipad air 2 & iphone 6s to the point where im having to use it on max volume to be satisfied (better on a computer though), after a few hours of use your ears and the top of your head can get quite irritated, the quality of sound is above average but if you like to listen to hip-hop, trap, dubstep, house or anything with a bass drop then i would look elsewhere. These aren’t necessarily bad, but aren’t necessarily great either. For the price, you can definitely get better.
