Brilliant cane quick works well nice crisp sound quality.
Its sound is very good, works well but the vox option still needs to be improved in this model, also de calls are very easy to reject, so be carefully haha apart from that, i am enjoying to use it every day on my arai helmet.
Just got it today, dind’t find any problems, im happy with it, and it has a very nice sound quality.
Features of Scala Rider Cardo QZ Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset
Wireless stereo (A2DP) and remote operation of compatible MP3 players.
Hooked it up to my 5 year old tomtom rider and it functions perfectly as did the old single earpiece model. I have not tried it with a mobile phone so would have probably given it 5 stars if i had with the same results and ease of use.
This is a brilliant intercom system that i use on my zumo 550, and the standby time is fantastic. Speaker sound is clear and works thru my satnav with phone and earpiece.
Paired a treat with my phone (moto g4+), and the navigation voice prompts are crystal-clear. I have yet to use it on a voice call, but am expecting it to be just as good. Installation was simple, although i had to busk slightly to fit the microphone on my caberg flip-up helmet (it’s held between the shell and padding by friction, as there’s no fabric in the vicinity for the velcro to grip). Operation has been trouble-free, though, despite numerous on/off cycles with the helmet and chin bar. The caberg does suffer from wind noise, but this unit produced plenty of distortion-free volume at 70mph – my maximum speed while running-in a new bike. It took a couple of tries to get the speaker placement right. If one of them is off-axis it sounds like it isn’t working, and it made the lower part of my ear sore after an hour or so. Pulling it off (it fits by velcro to the helmet lining) and moving up a couple of millimetres solved both problems completely. This seems like quality kit at a good-value price, and if i was asked i would recommend it. It’s not the right model, though, if you want to communicate with a pillion or other rider – which i don’t particularly.
Make & Receive calls – connect 2 mobile phones simultaneously.
Its a good bit of kit though that could possibly do with modernising i. A separate battery to make the control unit smaller, but otherwise its ok.
I ride 6 days a week what ever the whether. Never had a problem buy with conferdance.
This is easy to set up and remarkably easy to sync with bluetooth devices. It’s easy to fit to your helmet with a little care and the sound quality is much better than i was expecting (i am an audiophile) particulalry given the ambient noise of a helmet. Volume scales automatically in response to ambient noise keeping your music at just the right level. Its reasonably easy to adjust the volume on the controller while in use but now that i have my volume levels set i dont really need to adjust it. I have returned to motorcycles after a 20 year lay off and its excellent to have music.
Hot-dial number (customizable) and replaceable stereo speakers (3.5mm).
Great headset really clear sound and easy to set up.
Quality product at a sensible price.
Really good product arrived on time as well, does everything need.
Self-adjusting speaker volume according to speed and ambient noise (customizable).
Metal fitting with plenty of extras in the box. Good quality sound with 2 channel stereo bluetooth (where supported by paired devices). High volume adjustment and sturdy solid boom mic. This is the entry level from scala rider, but there’s nothing entry level about it. Buy if direct from amazon for best results and service back up. Standard delivery ordered tuesday, delivered wednesday.
Delivery and product was first class.
It works with my scala headphones, don’t need look at the picis just go were yer told . No excuse for being late home .
I was after a good quality set of headphones for my motorbike when i came across these. Very sceptical about these and i didn’t think they would be good quality, especially when you consider others which are similar are double the price – so i though thanks to amazons excellent returns system, i’d at least try them. First off, its actually very good. – a bit of a pain though to install, but to be fair, this was probably my inexperience in removing the lining from inside my helmet. (to hide the cables)in my case, and as you can see from the photo’s, i had to install the man unit outside the helmet – his is glued on the outside, then a clamp holds it at the base between the inside and outside of the helmet. The sticky pad supplied looks quite thin, but it’s held up to outdoor life so far – i’d feel more comfortable though with a thicker one, but whenever this would make the adhesion any stronger, i don’t know. The unit connected to my phone without any problem – and as my phone also allows me to connect two bluetooth devices at the same time, i can use my satnav on the bike at the same time. Sound quality is surprisingly good for small speakers, although i would have liked a more robust pair that can deliver better sound, but in all honesty, these do the job well. As others have stated, the unit will decrease the volume automatically when running at a slower speed, and raise it when you go faster. The microphone does not seem to pick up sound well – some cannot hear me when i am talking, but this could simly mean the microphone needs placing in a better position.
Up to 10 hours talk-time / 1 week stand-by, this device is also waterproof and dustproof.
Great product , great price and great service.
I’m using this for over 1 month and overall i’m pleased.
This is a really well made product. Fitment is not necessarily simple dependant on your helmet. Getting it set up was pretty straight forward and charging from my lap top is quick and easy also. Not to forget that it also works seamlessly with my nokia 625.
Vital for the charity work i do (rider for north west bloodbikes – lancs and lakes), keeps me in touch with my controllers whilst on the move with crystal clear clarity.
I had a cheap set which went wrong, so i researched and paid out for this. Love the auto volume adjust, so when you slow down you don’t get deafened. Can easily listen to music at 70mph and phone seems to be good quality sound too.
This is the for lone rider who enjoys riding on his/her own either on the commute to work or for leisure. This is one quality piece of kit with great sound, comfortable fit, easy use even with thick winter gloves and solid construction. Pairing up to me iphone 6s was a doddle and the sound quality is amazing and far better than i hoped – yes it is not the same as your sound system at home but since when did you sit in your living room with a helmet on with loads of wind noise going on. Pro’s the sound modulation so it gets louder as you get fast is so cool, the software interface is simple and the controls easy to master. Con’s hmmm if i was really picky. . Nah can’t think of anything.
