A juice a loose around this house. The fresh orange juice & apple juice i have made form this is great, gets a lot of juice from the fruit with all the waste neatly collected to dispose of. The machine also makes great smoothie’s. I have only ever used a juicing machine before so was new to making smoothie’s, easy to do you place all the ingredients into a large cup which comes with the juicer. This acts as the container to blend up the ingredients but also as a cup to take away your finished smoothie. You pop on the travel lid & away you go, very clever idea. The only negative thing i can find is the machine is quite loud when in action but that is down to the powerful motor. A great machine to get goodness into someone like myself who is doesn’t eat much fruit & veg.
Good 3-in-1 device and saves space in the fridge. This is impliedly designed for houses with smaller kitchens, where work surface and storage space is at a premium. I find it handy having three items in one i. Citrus press, juicer and blender. Citrus press (use to squeeze oranges, grapefruits etc). Just cut an orange in half and press it down on the squeezer. What surprised me is just how dry the orange half is after doing this i.

This is definitely a nice looking combi-juicer that does a bit more than the juicer i’m currently using. The citrus press is actually quite handy and works well, i have a manual one and it’s something i rarely use but if i’m going to be using this machine anyway i may well make use of this feature more often. The blender works as you’d expect and again it’s something i rarely do but am going to try and do a bit more now. For juicing it has a nice large (just slightly smaller than what i’m using) feeding tube that will fit whole apples in which it time and mess saving. It removes the vast majority of the pulp (i’ve never tried one that removes 100% there always seems to be a bit slips through) and overall does a good job. It is noisy during operation, but again, these type of machines always are and you don’t tend to run them for very long so it’s bearable and not really something you can genuinely hold against it, at least not until someone comes up with a silent one. Cleaning is always the biggest pain with these juicers but if you do it straight away then it is manageable. That said, i didn’t find this appliance quite as easy to clean as the philips one i was using, but then it does more and has more parts so really it’s a pay-off. For the time being i’m going to keep using this one, if i find myself going back to only juicing at some point then i’ll likely switch back to my other one, either way there’s not much between them but if you want something that does more then this could be for you.
Russell Hobbs 3-in-1 Juicer, Press and Blender 22700 – White : Three in one device that works well. . This is a clever idea; putting three items into one box. It consists of a large (and fairly noisy) motor unit, and three separate accessories which will make smoothies, juice fruit / veg and extract orange/lemon/lime juice. 1) the juicer – this will smash up just abut anything you put into it and give you a nice, smooth juice. It leaves very little pulp in the drink, and the waste is quite dry. Favourite drink here is apple, orange and carrot with a splash of fizzy water. The pulp is deposited into the canister on the side for easy disposal (compost heap). 2) next up is a smoothie maker – a bit like the expensive nutribullet jobs you see around. You put the clear plastic cup on the worktop, add the stuff you want to ‘smoothiefy’, screw on the lid / blades (tightly) and then drop this onto the motor housing and press go.
