For basic songs it really is excellent – rock/steel/region – all fine. If classical is your bag, then most likely very best to stay away from as they are way too bass large, irrespective of which filter is equipped. Observe that due to the fact the casing is metallic, they can be chilly when 1st inserted into the ear, but rapidly warm up.

Wow exactly where do i even commence 😮 these are awesome. Acquired them for my nexus and they exceed all expectations (and must for that selling price). As soon as i acquired them i tried out the audio examination : http://www. Php handed all with flying colors particularly the binaural take a look at, it basically built me switch all over. 5/10low: ten/10all spherical terrific functionality, individually i favor a ton of bass as i pay attention to masses of residence/deephouse/electro e. So i just pop in the bass filter and boom foundation goes way up groundshaking. Also acquired the comply t400’s to accompany and they pair pretty perfectly raising convenience and noise reduction. Establish quality: ten/10sound: 9/10value: 8/10gladly endorse these to anybody, regardless of what tunes you are into theres a place for you.

These are the big difference between hd and 240p. Usual earphones are mere cups and strings compared to these total home orchestras. Disclaimer ,i have tried out these earphones but have not purchased them as they lie outside the house of my price tag array and hope for a price cut for this assessment. I am an electronics engineer,i specialise in audio. Your standard earphones come with one particular driver per ear(thats one particular speaker, which is ordinarily a balanced armature procedure possessing to choose on all the get the job done to produce the seem) and small in the way of pure components assisted sound, the in shape is generalised and the audio ordinarily bearable (just take your normal iphone or ipod earphones for instance) but not a little something that will give you the skill to listen to extraordinary element). These are distinct, the sound load is spread throughout two drivers and is hence excellent in several techniques, the casing is metal enabling very little seem leakage, absolutely nothing considerably less than a gold pickup and on inspection of the inner circuitry, a neat and cleanse job carried out, top me to consider that these are constructed reliably.

RHA T20 High Fidelity Noise Isolating Dual Coil In-Ear Headphone : The rha t20s are stunning soundings earbuds, highs are handled with crisp detail without ever sounding overly bright, mids are subtle and we’ll handled, and the bass is deep while keeping a lovely warm clarity. The construction of the buds themselves are made from finely machined alloy, with three sets of screw in filters to suit your sound style whether it be high, bass boost, or reference. The only major gripe is the flex cables that curve around the back of the ear. These are constructed of a flex coil metal covered in a heat shrink type sleeve, and this sleeve has a tendency to become saggy and uncomfortable to use, and in the year and a half i’ve had my t20s, i’ve had them replaced under rhas excellent 3 year warranty. All in all though, these are an amazing entry for the young scottish sound company, and if this is a sign of things to come, i’m eager to see what they will release next at this price point.

Fantastic build with quality sound hifi sound. Is expensive though so do research. Beautifully built, even better looking than the pics suggest. Sound has some weight behind it and the soundstage is very impressive with plenty air between instruments and vocals. It has good resolution and detail and the bass is deep and controlled. Mids are slightly recessed which is the house sound of rha, but that doesn’t mean they lose detail. Paying close to £200 though needs a lot of thought and research, especially if you’ve never paid that amount and looking for your first quality set. These are a lot better than the previous flagships in the rha m750 and the rha t10.

Great build quality pairs with pretty balanced sound. Great build quality pairs with pretty balanced sound. In addition, amazing customer service when they replaced my faulty unit after 1 year of use with a brand new one, the process is easy & fast too.

Expensive – but as the cosmetic ads would say, you’re worth it. I’m a long-time user of rha products and decided to splurge on these after my long-owned and much-cherished ma750 earphones were beginning to suffer from wear and tear. Listening to them for the first time after years of using the cheaper (but still very good) ma750 model was an absolute aural shock to the system. The sound stage is dramatically wider, with instruments and vocals picked out with much greater precision. Drums sound different: cymbal crashes are less harsh and more refined, kicks of the bass drum have real oomph. In fact, it’s in the lower frequencies where these earphones are a revelation, delivering more power and revolving more detail than the ma750s could ever manage. By contrast, the midrange sounds flat and a little harsh – to start with, at least. But it acquires a bit more depth and refinement after some hours of running the ‘phones in. The key advice for optimum sound quality, as others have noted, is to achieve a tight fit in the ear.

Amazing sound at a great price. Bought these to see if over the over-ear design suits me before investing in expensive custom in-ears (noble), and like them so much that i’m not even interested in the noble any longer. Excellent sub base, clarity & wide soundstage. With the comply’s they are very secure and comfortable, i sometimes forget i have them in my ears.

I was looking for a replacement for my klipsch x10s which finally bit the dust after several repairs. These popped up during my search and the reviews pointed towards a sound profile that i enjoy. I took the plunge – these are expensive iems compared to what i’ve brought before; but i listen to music on the go a lot and i figured, wtf; i deserve them. When they arrived and i first tried them i was initially disappointed. I’d heard they take some burning in so i left them playing for a few hours. I tried a couple of the different tips; changed to the bass filter and bamm – the sound was there. Really clear, excellent, big soundstage, natural, etc, etc.

Superb build & sound, choose the right ear tips. I have lived with these t20s for some time now & can only be very enthusiastic about both their audio quality & build. I note that they didn’t quite get a 5 star rating from what hifi. I can only attribute this to the use of less than perfect ear tips. Although rha supply a pretty comprehensive range, i found these to be mostly fiddly to install. Initially i employed the comply tips (from the days when i was a ultimate ears ue10 triple fi fan), but their frailty is well known. I’ve found that i get superb results from the inairs air2 tips – proper longevity, don’t fracture even with heavy use, give superb results in terms of audio quality & fit/comfort. With the t20s i cannot find any fault – articulation, soundstage, solidity. While these iems, used with fiio x1ii, do not quite match my domestic set up of audioquest dragonfly black v1. 5, onkyo a9010, grado sr325i, they come pretty damn close.

For general music it’s great – rock/metal/country – all fine. If classical is your bag, then probably best to avoid as they are too bass heavy, irrespective of which filter is fitted. Note that because the casing is metal, they can be cold when first inserted into the ear, but quickly warm up.

I have had these ‘phones a year now so i thought i should give my thoughts to prospective buyers. In short- i think they are great. I say this because the sound is so much better than any others i have owned over the years. It did take a little time for them to settle in, as other have noted. This was aided by me trying different buds and also using the bass screw in adapter. I think that this combination is different for different users, so there is a bit of trial and error here. As to the things i don’t like, well, there’s the cord which is a bit thick and tangly and i am not a great fan of the ‘mould the cord behind the ears’ method, but it does keep them stable- they never fall out. The build quality is marvellous (so it should be fore the price), and the sound is so good that as i listen to the lindsays (string quartet) playing haydn on my ipad air 2 i feel that the sound couldn’t be improved, it is wonderfully full and musical. They are expensive, but of course you get what you pay for.

Perfect for me – so glad rha fixed the way. Perfect for me – so glad rha fixed the way that they fit around the ears. Sound quality excellent for my classical and jazz – in fact all styles. For the money these are very good indeed and i have tried many high reputation brands in the past.

I think i’ve just found in-ear musical heaven. These little beauties are quite simply an audio revelation. First up, i’m no audiophile but i know a thing or two about good sound quality from my days working in a recording studio. I also had a set of audiofly af78′ s which i was perfectly happy with until they inexplicably fell apart after 18 months. So i did some research and all roads kept pointing back to the t20’s. I resisted for about a week due to the price. Then i bit the bullet the day after the audiofly’s stopped. So, i’ve had these just over 24 hours and, like other reviewers, my first day i was a little underwhelmed by the sound. It seemed very thin, almost painful in the treble area (as mentioned in a other review).

The t20’s, in my opinion, sound better than my sure se425’s. Even straight out of the box, compared to my run in sure’s. I chose these because of the reported abundance of bass and i am not disappointed. I usually run my headphones through an fiio e12a amp but even plugging straight in to my phone they sound greatbeautifully well constructed, you can literally feel the quality.

Beautiful sounding in-ears which blossom over (a little) time. . I’ve had these babies for a couple of days now and to say i’m impressed is an understatement. It’s clear a lot of care and attention has gone into the packaging which in my opinion beats even apple products. Upon first plugging them in and hitting play, i was hit with a muddy, underwhelming racket. I was aware they need some running in time. After about 45 minutes of continuous listening, the sound gradually started opening up. I met a mate for coffee (leaving the music playing pretty loud for about an hour in my bag) and afterwards popped them in again. I listened to the same album – alice in chains ‘dirt’ – and it sounded, quite frankly, bloody amazing.

Took a few moments to select the right ear bud. But once done the sound is fantastic.
