I am pleased with this purchase and is better value and higher spec than the flip equivalent, though the lack of stereo sound may be an issue for some. Good points are the video light for low-light filming and the 1080 full hd recording. Less good is the flimsy cover for the usb connector – don’t know how long that will last. Don’t bother with the digital zoom either, resulting video is very pixelated. Still, even with those limitations it is a good product.
I love this,it is easy to use and so handy to carry around, just slip it in your pocket and that picture can be captured straight away. I have found the video to be a bit slow on playing back, might just be my inexperience,in all well worth the money.

I bought this camera for my husband to use on our skiing holiday. He was very pleased with it. It is an excellent small camera and really easy to use. We have a 50′ tv and the images played back on the tv were very clear and the quality was excellent. The only downside is the charging of the camera, if you plug it into a computer the charging is ok but not wanting to take a laptop on holiday i bought a usb charger. I left the camera on charge all night with the usb and still it did not give a full charge, but by charging it every night we were able to film all week. My advice is if you are taking it on holiday and plan to use a usb plug make sure you charge it every night.
This is an amazing little camera, doing hq video and stills and doing it well. One major grouse – the charging arrangements are primitive – you plug it in to your usb port on the computer, and it takes hours. The computer has to be turned on meanwhile. There’s no optical zoom, either, but you wouldn’t expect that in such a small package. Results are good, though, from the sd card, and easy to offload.
Used it for vlogs and behind the scenes filming.
Panasonic TA1 Full HD Pocket Camcorder – Grey (8MP Still Images, Skype Compatible Webcam, Built In USB) : Build quality better than expected. I almost didn’t buy this pocket camcorder, despite the low price, because of the negative reviews about the build quality. However, i decided to take the chance and i was glad i did. The video quality is good for everyday filming, and the photos turn out well. It’s a great little pocket camera to carry around, to quickly capture some videos or take some snaps. As far as the build quality goes, i can’t see a problem. Yes, there are little plastic tags attached to the covers, but the covers clip into place and the tags are there to stop you losing the covers when you unclip them. The only issue i had with the unit is that it’s a bit slippery and on one occasion i accidently dropped it onto hard ground. From some of the reviews i have read i might have imagined that it would break into a hundred pieces, but fortunately it survived undamaged. After that i decided to fit a wii strap instead of the usual wrist strap which gives a bit more security.
