Great little headsetyou can get better quality sound but this device gives me everything i needed. I wanted a headset for running where i could tuck my phone out of the way. Its never easy to skip tracks with your phone especially if its fixed to your arm. This device just clips to the bottom of my top and is easily accessible. You have the added bonus of being able to adjust the sound, play and pause as well as take calls hands free.
I’m really pleased with this product. The range is fantastic, battery life is great, it doesn’t skip awkwardly and i get to use my favourite headphones. I’d be a really boring ride to work without it.
Had this for 3 – 4 years and it’s brilliant. Connects up to my new nokia lumia 925 and the sound is good and no problems when calling. I have put a different set of headphones in mine, only because i prefer the fit in my ears.
Cost just over a tenner, not £159. I can use with my android phone, and my sennheisers. Clips nicely on my pocket and frees up my phone from cables. For music, it’s loud enough and responsive enough for me. Update: i just tried the included headphones, to use them for phone calls. The call quality is actually excellent, much better that i was expecting, based on some of the reviews here. Update2: still going strong, working well, so just ordered another set for my daughter, who has had a habit of ruining cables that are plugged into her phone.
I ordered this product and it arrived worked perfect, unfortunately after a few days it would not pair with my device, informed the supplier and they sent a replacement within a few days, replacement works perfect, good sound quality, easy to pair , does everything they say it will, very good product would recommend it.
Good quality bluetooth headset. Not the finest audio quality but can be used with any headphones. 3 starts because it uses a stupid nokia proprietary power supply rather than micro usb.
I’ve got no idea why everyone is moaning about this device. Pairs easy, voice calling and music is really good on it. The volume button has about a seconds delay on it (probably on purpose), if you turn it loads i think it ignores it. The battery has a decent life, recon 4. 5 hrs (constant mixed calls and music)the clip is awkward to get on but it isn’t coming off without you knowing about it.
Comments from buyers
“Awesome. So far I’m loving it!
, Neat design, works well
, Sounds Great!
The thing does what it is supposed to do. Connects easily and talks to phone. What gets me frustrated is when after 3 hours device starts beeping every few minuts indicating battery is nearly drained. Battery life is definitely not sufficient. On sony n270 i had 8 hours of continuous playback. And one more thing: why charging with nokia specific connector when all world lives in micro usb era ?.
I bought this partly to listen to the fm radio on my ‘phone, which it does not do. Apparently the wire is necessary to act as an aerial. But it works fine for the ‘phone and music player, and i decided to keep it.
This headset is very cool , easy to setup and use , battery holds for over a week, charges super fast , looks very nice and stylish , voice quality is great as well , earbuds fit in the ear perfectly and dont fall out like all the others, i would never use any other headset.
I am deaf headphones to enable me to follow tv programmes where the subtitles are behind the speech and for films etc. My previous i had had for a number of years and these are so much more comfortable to wear and the sound quality very good. Volume control is rather fiddly for my artritis fingers and likewise the clip but nevertheless a good buy. I have also used with my laptop to watch dvd etc.
It works well with my samsung galaxy note 8.
Up until now i’ve use my ipod nano for my portable music, even though my nokia n8 has always had the potential to be a perfectly capable mp3 player. Since i got the bh-111, i’ve now been using my n8 as a full time music machine ever since. The unit is lightweight and well made, with simple controls for answering calls and navigating through your song collection. The built in mic is particularly clear for making phone calls. The bundled earbuds are pretty good, but they can be detached and any 3. 5mm headphones used in their place. Battery life is acceptable, i probably need to charge mine every two days. My only gripe is the volume control, which is a small dial on top of the transmitter. If you turn slowly it responds, but not if you turn it quickly. I assume this is a safety measure though, to stop you from accidentally blasting out your eardrums.
It just does what it is supposed to. I like the volume button and the clarity of the sound. The ear pieces are of proper quality and the battery life ok.
The bluetooth connection is a bit flakey sometimes and doesn’t seem to automatically connect everytime to the default device but turning it off/on solves the problem. The volume control as mentioned by other buyers doesn’t always increase the volume but this isn’t really a huge issue its just a matter of rotating it until the volume is increased interestingly the audio quality seems to differ depending on what phone its connected to, on a htc incredible s the quality is average but on a xperia s the quality is much better. It also seems to be that the call quality (not surprisingly) also differs phone to phone as well. Quite happy with the product all in all.
I bought this so that i can use my samsung galaxy s3 as a satnav on my motorcycle. It paired with the phone immediately; sound quality is fine and although i haven’t tried it on the bike yet i’m sure the volume will be plenty loud enough. Simple clean design and small enough to pop into my bike jacket. Even the charger isn’t too big to take with me on long trips.
I’m impressed that such a small and light bluetooth unit has so much functionality built in. I use it mainly for streaming music from my phone (i get about 6 hours battery life) but also for phone calls. Callers have commented on how clear the sound is at their end, so the microphone must work well. The latter consists of a small hole at the same end of the unit as the rotary volume control. The unit should be clipped on (e. To a shirt) so that the microphone is at top, otherwise it may not work so well. Unlike some reviewers, i have no problem using the volume control single-handed, you just need to turn the rotary control slowly between index finger and thumb while steadying the unit with the other fingers of the same hand. The supplied earphones provide a good enough sound, however they’re not terribly loud compared with two other pairs i had already. As putting up the volume on either the bluetooth unit or the phone will decrease battery life of the respective unit, i just use one of my other pairs of earphones instead.
