Nad HP50 Headphones -, Put them on your audition list

Excellent bass without the need of far too substantially emphasis. Somewhat significant and limited in good shape can be uncomfortable with glasses for extended listening periods.

Place them on your audition record. Fantastic headphones, definitely reinvigorated my new music. Let us get this out of the way. Aesthetically i am guessing it would suit some head shapes greater than other individuals. I’ve experienced a pair of very little akg452s for a couple of a long time, and was geared up to spend some funds to update. Tried out a number of in-retail store, which includes beats and sennheiser momentum, but just didn’t sense the advancement justified the occasionally hair increasing expense. The nads straight away just sounded quite distinctive to the other individuals i auditioned. Really neutral and vast soundstage. Prime conclusion is apparent devoid of any harshness, and yet the vocals are rounded and quite heat.

I come across it extra snug compared to momentum.

I assume hp50 is ideal for classical songs. Excellent of soundhigh definition shut headphone. I imagine hp50 is finest for classical songs. Also in rock audio hp50 does pretty great perfomanceconvenienceabout a week when i set it on my head, it’s limited and some ache at temporal area (due to the fact i dress in eyeglasses)following about a 7 days, no suffering. But not really comfordable to dress in very long time. If nad make a further model with focusing to about comfort, that headphone will be a reference. In conculusionhp50 is very good headphone. If you uncover a closed headphone at center selling price, i am going to propose hp50.

Great price, wonderful seem. Fantastic price for the revenue. I nonetheless believe the b&w p7’s are overall top-quality, but not £100 superior. In actuality, the p7’s i noticed were an incredible £250 and i even now opted for the hp50’s at £200. The hp50’s are additional conformable, and if you might be a massive jazz enthusiast, they appear out on prime when compared with the p7’s. These cans are incredibly relaxed, rather neutral but not as well neutral, heat in the proper way, delicate, expansive, versatile, addictive. I located the psb m4u2’s fairly wonderful but they really don’t have anything at all on the hp50’s resolution and audio stage. I use these with the fiio e18 and (largely) tidal hi-fi new music streaming services.

NAD HP50 Headphones – Red : I think hp50 is best for classical music. Quality of soundhigh definition closed headphone. I think hp50 is best for classical music. Also in rock music hp50 does very good perfomanceconvenienceabout a week when i put it on my head, it’s tight and some pain at temporal area (because i wear glasses)after about a week, no pain. But not very comfordable to wear long time. If nad make another model with focusing to about convenience, that headphone will be a reference. In conculusionhp50 is very good headphone. If you find a closed headphone at middle price, i’ll recommend hp50.

By far the best headphones i’ve ever owned. Crystal clear sound, fantastic over-ear feel, and really easy controllable with the smartphone cable that comes with it. Not cheap, but you’ll enjoy your music in the best way possible.

Best closed headphone i have heard. . Well, when i thought that the oppo pm3 was a tough act to beat as far as closed back headphones go, i have to withdraw it from the top in favour of this. Although the reviews are generally excellent, i am somewhat surprised to find these as my #1 choice. The look and feel cheap, save for the leather pads. Much cheaper than the pm3 or audiotechnica msr7 (another favourite of mine). But then you get that sound which becomes addictive with all the types of music i listen, jazz, flamenco, modern tango, downtempo electronica. It might be that “room feel” technology which i would have sworn was just marketing but. No, it does add something that others do not have. I think the oppo are flatter and darker and the msr7 more detailed and bright: overall the nad have the best compromise between the 2.

Brilliant balance and the bass is nice in the mix and not over powering like most over the ear headphones.

Good bass without too much emphasis. Slightly heavy and tight fit can be uncomfortable with glasses for longer listening sessions.

Comfy, and the lead can be plugged into either earpiece. . I ordered the white ones, and red ones turned up – however, the sticker on the outside of the box said “white”, so the blame lies with the people in the factory who originally packed them, not the supplier. The red ones actually look really nice – it’s a deep-ish red, in not-cheap plastic, if that makes sense. I collect headphones, and have around 30 pairs. These are some of the best i’ve bought. They have something called “roomfeel” technology to give a wider soundstage compared to normal closed-back headphones, which works incredibly well. If you want the isolation of closed-back headphones, but with an open-backed sound, then these headphones are the ones to go for. I read some reviews that complained about the shape of the headband pressing on their heads in weird ways – i had no such problem – i think the widening of the headband actually makes them more comfortable. One outstanding feature that i haven’t seen on any other headphones (though i’m sure there will be others out there) is that the cable can be plugged into either earpiece. It’s a small detail, but can make quite a difference if you’re doing some activity where the cable can get in the way if on one side or the other. The only (very trivial) downside, and is the price to pay for closed-back headphones, is that now the weather is getting nicer, your ears can get rather warm and sweaty. But as i said, that is a common bugbear with closed-back headphones.

Brilliant investment with some comfort issues which are easily fixed. After doing countless hours of research for my fist good pair of closed back headphones i decided to take the punt and go for these. I also bought the popular audio-technica ath m50xs for comparison. In terms of comparison, there really was a noticable difference in both comfort and sound. In particular, the sound stage on the nads was far better. I’m far from an expert audiophile but it didn’t take me long to decide that the nads were worth the extra £50. The comfort, which for me is a fairly important part of headphones was good but for extended listening periods (of over 3 hours) my ears started to get sore because they were touching the monitors. This was sold by buying a pair of replacement ear pads from brainwavz which made a massive difference. If you have big ears i would highly reccomend buying these if you find the nads are uncomfortable. The sound for me is simply fantastic.

Nad hp50 – where have you been all my life?. My oppo pm-3 phones are whimpering away in the corner now. The recently acquired nad hp50 are getting far more ear time than them. These are the best ‘bang-per-buck’ of any ‘phones i have heard in years, and i have spent a lot of money on ‘phones. My listening is now split between senn hd800 for armchair listening, nad hp50 for mobile and around house, and shure se535 where iem use is appropriate. The hp50 have a beautiful rounded mid range (where the music lives) and a well controlled bass. The treble is rolled off slightly and the overall experience is perfect for my needs. Construction is adequate and the goofy headband makes folks smile. One niggle is that the replaceable cable plugs into the lowest point of the ear cup and often brushes against a shirt collar.

You will not find better for the price. These are without doubt one of the best headphones i have had the pleasure to enjoy music with. They are just as good if not better than the b&w p7 at just over half the price. The sound is quite natural with tight bass where it is intended and defined mids and highs. I mainly use them connected to chord mojo dac and the result is a sound like no other. The only slight criticism is the squarish overhead band which not only looks ridiculous but also a little uncomfortable. Still glad i tried and bought them though. This is my first nad purchase and i’m certain it won’t be the last. Update: managed to sort out the squarish headband issue by gently pressing on the top sides giving it a more curved shape. Now they look and feel much better.

. Only downside to these headphones is that sadly you will get used to just how good they sound.
The build quality excellent and they come with some nice little touches like. Bought for my son after extensive testing and reading reviews of a range of over-ear closed-back headphones. Lovely sumptuous sound, neutral tonal balance, with a slight favouring of the bass (he’s a bassist, so wanted that), without being over the top, beats style. The presentation box is gorgeous; the build quality excellent and they come with some nice little touches like a carrying case etc.

Quite simply the best closed headphones at this price or possibly any.
Org (and having spent a good few hundred quid on this hobby/obsession) i’ve got to a stage where i feel i know what l want from headphone/iem. Before the hp50 i was fairly content with my westone w40s but i felt a strange yearning for something more. Is narrowed it down to either the hd650s, mad dog pros, audeze el-8s or even the westone w60s (of i could find a reasonably priced 2nd hand pair). It was then l started to notice the hp50. A bit more research (yawn) showed they had been getting rave reviews and the real icing on the cake?. They were cheaper than all the other possibilities. It sounded to good to be true – a £200 hp that was punching waaay above it’s weight?.Well, i’m here to tell you that the nhs viso hp50 is the best sounding hp i’ve heard.

These headphones aren’t getting noticed as they are truly excellent. Such a shame these headphones aren’t getting noticed as they are truly excellent. They look strange, but that really shouldn’t matter as if you’re even considering buying these you’re most likely looking for sound quality over appearance and rightly so.

PSB M4U1 Headphones – Monza : Quite simply the best kept secret in Audio!

Remarkable clarity, incredible headphones. Initially items 1st and aesthetically this is a definitely intelligent seeking bit of package, with a good velvet-appear carry bag. Sony MDR-XB500 Extra Bass Headphones – : An honest review.

It claims extra bass and thats what you get. I prefered this xb500 more than the sucessor xb600. As decribed, these headphones present a bass weighty response. That remaining said, the sound good quality is great for the cost, and the significant cusions give quite great noise isolation, provided there …
