Fantastic satnav better than any other products out there.
Very good item and delivery service thank you.
Use the disc to get instructions not the best as getting in the car with instruction manual better. Once got the hang of it, it did what i wanted, use the disc to get instructions not the best as getting in the car with instruction manual better than trying to remember all the info.
This mio spirit is fine – and no more. Having been a long-time user of tom-tom and garmin sat-nav devices, i was interested to see what the competition was offering, especially at a reasonable price point well, you get what you pay for. This mio spirit is fine – and no more. It works, and has the sort of useful features that you would expect from any sat-nav, including parking assistance, lane assistance and an easy to use interface. Unfortunately the device is extremely slow, especially when trying to input addresses or search – it is extremely frustration to use because you have to wait for each ‘press’ to be registered, which can result in it almost taking over a minute to input a postcode. First-world problems indeed, but not ideal. The battery life is pretty terrible, which is moot if you plan on plugging the spirit 7500 in while you’re using it, but it doesn’t hold a charge well, which means if you are planning on using this device outside of your car, you can forget about it. It also frequently struggled to pick up a gps signal, despite having a clear view through a windscreen to the sky – not a problem exclusive to this manufacturer, but certainly more frequently than its competitors. Would i recommend this sat-nav?.Only if you can’t stretch to a more expensive model from a more reliable and well-known competitor.
Straightforward to use and reliable. . I haven’t felt the need to buy a sat navigation system before as i have a good sense of direction and can read a map with zero difficulty. However when this came up on amazon vine i thought i’d give it a go. I’m glad i did because recently i’ve been getting sent to far flung remote areas on business and this little beauty has made life so much easier for me – no more pulling into laybyes to check road maps. It is not too clunky looking on the dashboard and is easy to connect and disconnect. Downloading the software was straightforward even for a technophobe like me. Setting the functionality to suit the dimensions of your vehicle is also straightforward and it is simplicity itself to enter your intended destination postcode. So far i’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and it hasn’t let me down yet. I’ve arrived at all my destinations without a problem and have not ended up in any dead-ends or remote farm tracks (as happened more than once when using the gps on my phone). I’m sure there will be technologically more sophisticated and sleeker looking systems out there but this gets you from a to b and is reliable and competitively priced.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Good for the value

- our Son has a similar one which is really good. Only used it once so far but we
This is a good solid sat nav. It’s a sturdy unit with a firm suction grip holder. The screen is clear and voice commands clear and easy to follow. I found the software a little counter-intuitive. It’s not immediately obvious how to return to the main screen and cancel route guidance, which is likely to be when you’re halfway through a journey. It also takes a bit of familiarity to enter addresses with anything other than the postcode, street and town names can be irritating. I tried deliberately going a different way and on correcting the route automatically it told me to turn down a neighbour’s private drive, drive past his front door and get back onto the road onto a track. He wouldn’t have been impressed if i’d done that. I suppose that is a failing in the map data rather than this particular satnav, but i haven’t come across it before.
Our son has a similar one which is really good. Only used it once so far but we. Bought to replace aging garmin. Our son has a similar one which is really good. Only used it once so far but we are very happy with it.
