Great camera, views in the day time are good, night time are average, but they all are limited at night, the let down is the bracket, it has limited angles and use, i have a large and steep windscreen, peugeot 3008, and this does not allow all the positions i like, that said, i have found a good position on the screen now, the camera is small, but needs space due to the bracket. I have a 32gb card and again this is needed for 3+ hours etc. Overall a great unit, i dont miss the gps and speed recording, i have turned of the mic / sound recording so as to save space. The software the manufacturer supplies is ok, but i just plug and play on a windows 7 pc and the standard movie package opens and reads it, all good.
Great quality and clear footage. I spent hours looking at dash cams after the one i was bought by my husband for my birthday stopped working after its first outing. In the end we paid a bit more money and settled for this one. It is of good quality and feels much more sturdier than the one which broke. It is easy to set up, literally take it out of the box and plug into cigarette lighter and away you go. However, the standard settings are pretty minimalist, not even recording in hd, so if you want to use all the features of the camera you will need to go into the settings and (gulp) read the instruction manual. The instructions are basic but then when you get into the settings it is actually fairly easy to set up. I made the mistake of setting the g-shock sensor to ‘high’ meaning that every time i touched the thing an alarm went off and locked the recording. Very frustrating but eventually i was able to touch it lightly enough to get back into the settings and change it backthe main downside for me was that it doesn’t come with a usb cable. It takes mini usb, not the more popular micro usb, and with my first purchase rather than buying a cigarette adapter with several holes to accept the cigarette lighter lead, i purchased a double usb socket which goes into the cigarette lighter then you can plug two usb leads into it to charge.

Unfortunately the wifi feature is useless for few reasons. I’ve been using this dash cam for few days. I bought the wifi model to eliminate the process of taking the memory card out of the device to view on full screen or backup the recordings. Unfortunately the wifi feature is useless for few reasons; (1) the camera will not turn the wifi on if you choose to record in highest resolution (1296p). (2) the wifi file transfer is extremely slow, a 3 minutes clips in 1080p will take 20+ minutes to transfer (3) the camera suggest you to pause recording if you choose to transfer files faster over the wifi although still it takes 15+ minutes to transfer a 3 minutes clip. The recordings in 1080p and 1296p are otherwise very clear and crisp.
Fits neatly next to the mirror with the display visible. It is plugged into the cigarette lighter so always turns on when the car is started. Replays are good with ability to store parked files as well as driving ones or reduce the parked storage to leave more room for driving files. Feel securer after having had a moped hit me and they didn’t report it so i nearly had to share the blame but the other driver’s insurance eventually paid up.
