Lindy hf-110 open back hi-fi headphones. Excellent headphones effectively worth the price tag advise.

Entire sounding all-rounder that retains excellent detail for this selling price degree, even with transportable resources. Disclaimer: this is a honest assessment unlike the typical fivers whole of superlatives worthless to other people. It need to be taken as a bigger vote confidence than most of the five star ‘this is great’ form of assessments that sound like people prices you see on just about every one film poster that tends to make it to the sector. //tldr//if you are wanting to get a experience about what better close headphones are supposed to sound like devoid of breaking the financial institution or compromising significantly in the bass section, this ought to be in your major checklist beneath £100. These headphones are exceptional in the cost array, providing very in-depth and reasonably correct audio when continue to sounding total and retaining the bass that a whole lot of people today want these days without the need of needing an amplifier or unique machines. While remaining a somewhat heat phone, the treble extends much and crisply, which i was stunned by. Its seem signature will work with a vast selection of genres and it is flexible more than enough to be utilized for gaming as effectively. Uncomplicated recommendation for every person but those looking for a shiny rather than warm sound beneath £100. If you need to have isolation or want ones in which seem does not escape out of the headphones, see the sister model hf-100 that delivers a shockingly large seem for a closed headphone, very a great deal the top for shut around the ear headphone below 75£, a classification with even considerably less options in that array. One particular odd issue of note is that these sound comparatively closed for a absolutely open headphone, however with a good soundstage, though the shut design sounded open for a closed headphone :d//establish good quality//it is a tremendous perfectly constructed headphone, if not a bit tanky, that will come in a padded storage scenario with more pads and an equally sturdy removable cable.

You are going to need a dac to push these. . These actually shine only when they a related to a dac period of time. If not: you will require to look for some thing lesser to complement the android phone. If your android phone has a dac satisfied times.

Good cans them selves, but the dilemma is the band. Initially of all i appreciate the sound high-quality of these headphones, to day i have acquired these same ones three situations as i favored them that much, i would not go into element about the seem alone as you can find a million evaluations that testify to that so introducing a person a lot more is needless. ‘so why did you purchase them 3 moments?’. You may be asking you, and that’s why i considered i should really publish a critique for the reason that the band by itself is terrible and will without doubt snap at some stage, as it has done so on just about every facet of the headband on all three headphones. The difficulty is how weak the plastic is in one particular spot that triggers it to break up following lots of pulling the headphones off and as soon as it’s split which is it, you may have a single cup that doesn’t sit right on your head leaving a major hole underneath and ultimately it’ll fall off entirely but not just before the other aspect starts off splitting. Pic of all 3 headphones for proof: http://i. Jpgpic of the component that splits: http://i. Jpgpic of the location once split: http://i. Jpgthat has transpired on each aspect of all 3 headphones, as you can see by the remaining pair which was the a person i acquired 1st it ultimately arrived off altogether.

Lindy hf-100s are realy incredibly superior. . They are a cumbersome headphone, but this keeps out extraneous appears out by covering the ear. These are effectively created and look pretty robust. Musically the audio exhibited is pretty accurate and very neutral. Every thing can be listened to obviously devoid of overbase or treble. I am pleased with these ‘cans’ primarily for the price tag. I have heard much worse & costing more.

LINDY HF-110 Open Back Hi-Fi Headphones : Very comfortable to use, good value you for your money. Smile worth of listening yeh.

Not the improvement over closed-backs that i expected. . Update after 4 weeksthe clamping force has not eased, even with putting them on a polystyrene head when not in use. Uncomfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes. Unfortunately, i had to return them because of the clamping force, and have reduced the rating to 3 stars. Introductioni had set my mind on the brainwavz hm5 closed-back until i found these open-back versions. They do not carry the brainwavz name but they are the same oem manufacturer – yoga electronics of taiwan. Brainwavz does not market an open-back version. First impressions:these headphones are big – earcups measure 110 x 80 x 30 – truly over ears. They were quite a tight fit to begin with but will probably ease off after a couple of weeks’ use. Sound impressions:whereas my symphonized wraith 2.

Lindy hf-100s are realy very good. . They are a bulky headphone, but this keeps out extraneous sounds out by covering the ear. These are well made and seem pretty strong. Good length, fits other brands too. Replacement cable fits excellent studiospares. Com m1000 and m2000 headphones too (these headphones are sold under a number of different brands) and the cable has the ‘snap fit’ retention too. 5m more useful length for casual listening/travelling than the 3m cable which perhaps better serves movement around a mixing desk.

Bought as a replacement for the one that came with. Bought as a replacement for the one that came with my headphones. Not much to say really other than it works perfectly.

Good cans themselves, but the problem is the band. First of all i love the sound quality of these headphones, to date i’ve bought these same ones three times as i liked them that much, i won’t go into detail about the sound itself as there’s a million reviews that testify to that so adding one more is unnecessary. “so why did you buy them three times?”. You might be asking yourself, and that’s why i thought i should write a review because the band itself is terrible and will undoubtedly snap at some point, as it has done so on each side of the headband on all 3 headphones. The problem is how weak the plastic is in one place that causes it to split after lots of pulling the headphones off and once it’s split that’s it, you’ll have one cup that doesn’t sit right on your head leaving a big gap underneath and eventually it’ll fall off altogether but not before the other side starts splitting. Pic of all three headphones for proof: http://i. Jpgpic of the part that splits: http://i. Jpgpic of the area once split: http://i. Full sounding all-rounder that retains exceptional detail for this price level, even with portable sources. Disclaimer: this is a sincere review unlike the usual fivers full of superlatives useless to others. It should be taken as a higher vote confidence than most of the 5 star ‘this is great’ type of reviews that sound like those quotes you see on every single movie poster that makes it to the market. //tl;dr//if you are looking to get a feel about what higher end headphones are supposed to sound like without breaking the bank or compromising much in the bass department, this should be in your top list under £100. These headphones are unique in the price range, delivering very detailed and fairly accurate sound while still sounding full and retaining the bass that a lot of people prefer these days without needing an amplifier or special equipment. Though being a relatively warm phone, the treble extends far and crisply, which i was surprised by. Its sound signature works with a wide variety of genres and it is versatile enough to be used for gaming as well. Easy suggestion for everyone but those looking for a bright rather than warm sound under £100. If you need isolation or need ones where sound does not escape out of the headphones, see the sister model hf-100 that delivers a surprisingly large sound for a closed headphone, pretty much the top for closed over the ear headphone under 75£, a category with even less options in that range. One strange thing of note is that these sound relatively closed for a fully open headphone, though with a decent soundstage, while the closed model sounded open for a closed headphone :d//build quality//it is a super well built headphone, if not a bit tanky, that comes in a padded storage case with extra pads and an equally sturdy detachable cable.

Bargain, excellent for the price. I’ve had these for a while now and so far so good, but, i took a big risk in buying them because, like most people, you can’t try them out. I say that because i went and tried a pair of akg k550s (rrp: £180) after they received lots and lots of rave reviews, but was left very disappointed by the distinct lack of bass. I can say for the price (£[email protected]/06/2014) these lindy headphones are a far better buy, they are very good and punch well above their weight. I wasn’t expecting the sound to be the best but it’s excellent; the bass, middle and treble are very well balanced, quite spacious and detailed, i was a bit gobsmacked. Another bonus is that the headphones also come with a good quality bespoke lindy padded carry bag, which on it’s own would probably cost £20+; you also get a spare set of leatherette ear-pads, which is may be another tenners worth, so, a fairly decent deal. The headphone cable is decent quality and is very robust. One thing that i was worried about was the build quality as i’ve heard the arm can break where it meets the headphone strap as it’s a honeycomb design and not solid, but most people seem to have no problem, maybe it was a bad batch, not sure on that one. I’ll come back with an update after i’ve used them for a good while and see if they hold up but they do come with a two year guarantee anyway, so, fingers crossed, i won’t need it. These headphones are probably made in china because there are a number of other sellers who sell the exact same model (fischer audio fa-003, brainwavz hm5) with their label stuck on the side, but don’t let that put you off.

I’ve been using audio-technica ath-m40fs headphones for my late night movies these past couple of years, and while they’re perfectly decent for music and gaming, they just seem to lack the punch i get from a good amp and speakers for the action movies. So research told me i needed open backed headphones to try and replicate my amp/speaker set up. There were no reviews for these, but the closed back version (hf-100) had mostly positive reviews, including a very respectable 4 out of 5 from what hi-fi?, so i thought why not take a punt. I’m happy to say the gamble paid off. I watched rambo 3 the other week with the audio-technicas and despite having the headphone amp up to 75% volume and my computer desktop set at 100%, i was mostly underwhelmed by the flatness of the gunfire and explosions. Well, i watched rambo 3 again the other night with these lindy hf-110s, and wow, it was almost like watching a different film. Galloping horses, submachine gun fire, whirling helicopter gunships, rolling tanks, whooshing rockets, explosions, heavy machine gun fire just leapt out at me from my 5ft projector screen. I swear it was like being back in the odeon cinema in ’88 when i first saw the movie. This was precisely the kind of punchier sound i wanted, but i had to reduce the desktop volume to 80%, because any higher was just uncomfortably loud.

Excellent senn sound for a lot lot less money. Ive had grado’s, v moda lp crossfades, sony xb700’s, bludio 8 tracks, phillips fidelio x1, sennheiser hd650 and hd518. Loved them all for different types of music. My favourites where the hd518’s simply because they had a low bass range, but not overpowering. However, they fell a little short on mid detail. On the other hand, these lindy premium headphones surprised me to the extent that i felt that i had to leave a positive review. They have excellent low bass range without sacrificing mid detail. Trebles are clear, but not ear piercing. You really need to boost them with an amp to get the best out of them. Volumes can go right up to levels that are too loud to listen to, but they wont distort.

I’ve had these headphones for a few months now, and they’re the best headphones i’ve ever had. My only small issue is that the supplied cable is 3m long, which i’d say is a bit too long, but i have ordered a 1. 5m cable, which would better suit my needs.

More than great headphones / less than good helpdesk. The headphones offer much better sound than you would expect given the price. I looked for something universal that would sound great not only with an amp, but also directly from an mp3 player, tablet, tv or a laptop. Turns out they can squeeze a lot even from [email protected] files through a nokia 5630, not to mention what they do with flac or audio-cd. There are very detailed reviews on the web so all i can say is – their authors speak the truth. The build quality is as great as the sound. They seem very firm and really isolate you and your surroundings from each other. On the other hand, i need to complain about the way they were delivered. In fact, i had to order them twice and wait an extra week.

After a few days burn in these headphones are surprisingly good for the low cost. They sound better than many more expensive sets when plugged in via an av amp/sound card.

Fantastic value headphones with a great sound. . The lindy premium hi-fi headphones are an over-ear design headphone and share the same shell as the fischer audio fa-003 and the brainwavz hm5 (as well as others). The first thing that must be said is that these are a very large headphone, large than i first expected, meaning that these should be an over the ear design for almost anyone. Also the thick faux leather pads mean that many peoples ears, mine included, do not touch the inside of the headphone at all, this gives a very spacious feel considering they are a closed back design. This closed back nature also means that they isolate very well and do not leak much sound except on higher volumes. The faul leather pads however can mean that on a warm day these will make your ears heat up pretty fast are not the most comfortable for long periods. As long at it isn’t too hot though, these are one of the most comfortable headphones i have worn. They are not as heavy as you would think on seeing them as they are an almost all plastic design with a metal headband covered in the same faux leather but with a mesh-like material touching your head. The cups have a little play to adjust for head shape and extend quite far for size. At the time of writing these come packed in a very nice foam filled case to protect the headphones, with a spare set of the faux leather pads, a 6.
