Not bad for a£40 pair of headphones but to be honest they feel heavy and cumbersome while wearing them. The noise cancelling feature i must be missing the point as i was not impressed. The thing to be aware of is they are not that robust. In fact i have recently thrown my pair away as the joint where it folds away broke and could not be fixed.

Battery plastic cover broke after 2 times i opened. Rest is okay as price/quality.

Great for long haul flights or noisy daily commute. Great for long haul flights or noisy daily commute. Size of ear cups can be an issue when reclining on plane head rests. But excellent for active noise reduction listening. Here are the specifications for the LINDY BNX-60 – tooth Wireless Active Noise Cancelling Headphones:

Best anc wireless phones under £100 – audition them at richer sounds first if you can. I bought a pair of these from my local richer sounds. Previously i bought a pair of cowin e7 on amazon on a lightening deal as a bit of an impulse. They were awful and i returned them. I then did a bit of proper research from reputable review sites and these lindy headphones cleared up pretty much all the sub £100 categories. I auditioned them at richer sounds (everyone should audition before buying) and they were a massive improvement over the cheap quality poor sounding e7. The build is very good, made from robust rubberised plastic. The hard case is great with the smoothest zip i have ever used. The cables are good quality, not your 99p ebay tat. The headphones are only worth using with the noise cancelling turned on, as it seems to boost the frequency range as well as blocking the ambient noise.

For the price spot on really happy.

I looked at a lot of noise cancelling headphones and choose these based on price and reviews on the internet. I recently used them each way on a four hour flight to turkey. You can only use them for about three hours because of restrictions on take off and landing but they proved comfortable during that time and i have a large head and large ears. When i first put them on i disappeared into my own peaceful world. I could listen to my mp3 player without turning up the volume. You can still hear a faint background noise. I could still hear my family and stewards speaking to me but occasionally had to take them off if they were not close to me. I could hear the announcements over the speakers clearer than without them. After a while i wondered how much effect the noise cancelling system was having compared with the natural over the ear effect.

I recently travelled to hong kong and found these really reduced the engine noise, even voices and children crying were significantly quieter (although this is not what they are designed for). Unlike other noise cancelling headphones i have tried, you must have the cancelling turned on or the sound quality suffers, so make sure your battery is fresh.

Bought for my son, he just loves the headset and reports no problems.

Best i could find without spending hundreds of pounds. Noise cancellation (whilst i am sure not the best) was still a great help on a long haul flight, or whenever the kids have been driving me potty :)intuitive to use. Great to have cable option for back up and peace of mind.

A tech-y colleague recommended the lindy to me and i am now using. I own a pair of over ear bose noise cancelling headphones that connect with a cable. I have been looking at the bose bluetooth pair for some time but couldn’t bring myself to spend £300 on a pair of headphones. A tech-y colleague recommended the lindy to me and i am now using the lindy pair in the office and can honestly say that i am really pleased with them. Having done a quick comparison the sound is undeniably better from the bose but for the price i am not going to quibble as the tunes sound fine out of the lindy and it is so much more convenient to walk around without wires. I can cut out the office chatter using the nc and it is even more effective when playing music. I think that my bose are probably better for just using nc alone because of the over ear pads. I would recommend these until the bluetooth bose come down dramatically in price, as the difference in nc or musicality isn’t worth the extra hike £’s in my opinion.

Brilliant but short default cable. I bought these via amazon prime as a quick replacement. Considering the price, these are astoundingly good – sound quality is brilliant, they’re comfortable, they have volume controls on the headset itself, and you get so much bundled with the headset. Only downsides to these is an extremely short cable. They’re plugged into an external soundcard on my desk beside my bulky 24hd cintiq and the cable is so taught, it doesn’t even touch the desk. Luckily the cable is detachable and easy to replace. Also just a semi downside, as i only bought these for home streaming use, the noice cancelling is minimal. Just be aware of default cable length.

Good quality sound, but after a while it hurst my ears and it feels a bit too tight. Not recommended for long hours of use, maybe for one movie or at work. Still happy with the purchase since i use it work to try to concentrate.

Great performance and well worth their cost. These headphones are very nice to look at, all matt charcoal grey with minimalist buttons, they are comfortable to wear. Most of all they work perfectly and the sound is rich with bass and treble well seperated. The bass can be a bit boomy with some tv sound and the multi function button takes a bit of getting used to. They seem to hold a charge well, i have used them all day for different functions, without the internal battery running out.

Great for music, but so-so as a bluetooth headset. Listening to music over bt, these cans sound great, and are worthy of their what hifi award. You need to turn up the volume on them when not using noise cancelling as the volume drops considerably otherwise, but i find acoustics are good when used as a music playback device. What is slightly disappointing is the bluetooth headset function when paired to a phone or computer. I found the callers sounded muffled when using the headset for phone calls, and the microphone picks up background noise in the room as well, which is a shame given the effort they have clearly put into them for listening to music. Additionally, the noise isolation you get from these means that you tend to shout a little as you cant hear your own voice so well with them on while talking on the phone. I’ll keep them for music and travel, but my quest to find the perfect headphones with perfect bluetooth phone support is not over yet.
