Pretty flexible – just what i desired. I employed this housed in the outdoor weatherproof housing in mixture with joyin out of doors strings lights and 2 of the wireless switches to create backyard garden route string lights. It performs well, but the switches often battle above the 15m length.

These are compact and perform specifically as hoped. The only draw back actually (and this is a lightwave concern normally) is that you will need to bodily accessibility the relay each time that you want to pair it with a controller. It would be much more a lot more hassle-free if you could initiate the pairing from a (earlier paired) smartphone for illustration.

Long array, but quick hold off prior to light turns on. . Works properly in an previous home with thick partitions and i get about a 25m assortment (i can function the light in my workplace from the conclude of my yard). The unit has two relays (one for each and every output) and the default point out just after installation (or a energy-slice) is for the two relays to be off. In this state neither of the outputs will be connected to the widespread terminal. You have to send out a command to the device for just one of the relays to be turned on. There is normally a quick hold off (approx. one next) in advance of a command turns on the suitable relay. Generally when you send a command the currently ‘on’ relay will flip off promptly and then there is a slight pause ahead of the other a person is turned on. This is perfect for a little something like a garage door, but can be disconcerting when you flip on a gentle in the center of the night time and practically nothing comes about for a 2nd or so.Here are the specifications for the LightwaveRF Wireless Control Inline Relay Switch:

  • Inline Relays are designed to allow remote controlled switching of lighting and/or powered devices
  • Suitable for use with garage doors
  • Works with all LightwaveRF controllers
  • Control from anywhere using your Smartphone, Tablet or any other Web-enabled device with LightwaveRF’s Wifi-Link* (sold separately)
  • *LightwaveRF App available from Apple, Android and Windows App Stores

Make sure you browse the wattage as i didn’t and couldn’t understand why it wouldn’t get the job done.

This little unit is a good idea. I’m an electrician and have used these wifi relays as makes it possible for people to have lights installed without the mess and disturbance of installing additional cable to a wall mounted switch, as the switches can be battery operated. I have installed about 10 of these in the past, and only had to replace one of them that had been used about 18 months.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Simple to install and easy to use
  • Very reliable and simple way to control LED lights
  • Lightwaverf is the best

Worked effectively for six months, then unsuccessful. Worked extremely perfectly for about 6 months, then suddenly unsuccessful. The relay was only switching 4 led lamps, optimum load about 20 watts. The offer is fitted with a surge protector and an earth leakage vacation, so definitely should really not have failed.

Incredibly trustworthy and easy way to control led lights. Utilised a couple of of these to control my toilet and backyard lights and discovered them to be reputable and uncomplicated to set up. Just make certain you depart it accessible, must you have any issues in long run or need to link a new product to it. Incredibly valuable for controlling led strips.

Works brilliantly and saves a lot of time, especially in the back weather.

Simple to install and easy to use. Love the rf range of units and have loads of them in the house. This one was bought to control garden water fountain so that it could be turned on from anywhere in the house or garden. Some people seem to have an issue with the range of transmission, took a while to find a good location for the relay box (signal from phone app relayed as a 433mhz signal to the unit) but now able to control throughout house without issue.

Very versatile – just what i needed. I used this housed in the outdoor weatherproof housing in combination with joyin outdoor strings lights and 2 of the wireless switches to create garden path string lights. It works well, but the switches sometimes struggle over the 15m distance.

Very reliable and simple way to control led lights. Used a few of these to control my bathroom and garden lights and found them to be reliable and simple to setup. Just ensure you leave it accessible, should you have any issues in future or need to connect a new device to it. Very useful for controlling led strips.

Paired easily with existing lightwave rf jsjslw930 (wifi/internet controller) and created. Does what it says on the tin. Paired easily with existing lightwave rf jsjslw930 (wifi/internet controller) and created a scheduled event to turn on/off soffit lights on my garage. Only criticism is that the unit is quite small, which although great for mounting in a 900mm x 900mm ip65 adaptable box i got from screwfix, the actual wiring contacts and screws are quite small and tricky to use if you have a fairly thick gauge of cable or are doubling up on cable to use multiple lights for example – otherwise 5 stars.

Fantastic, just watch out for your requirements. . Great bit of kit, make sure you know what you are doing before you start. This cannot be used as a replacement for a lightswitch which is what i originally intended it for. You have to have the full ring main circuit attached in order for the relay to actually function. Guess it is also important to make sure that you can access it to pair it to your home (e. Put a removable plate over it or something).

Small and easy to fit, i use them for electric blinds (they can stop the blind as well as raise and lower) as they are so much cheaper and neater than those ‘recommended’ for these. Also useful for lighting (lightwave do not do a ‘mixed’ wireless and wired switch, so use this to make it all wireless – will fit into a backbox behind a wireless switch), integrating garage doors into the lightwave system (forget plippers that can get lost, just use your phone) or isolating equipment kids may fiddle with.

Works great, i used this to add a light strip. Works great, i used this to add a light strip in a cupboard where there was no switch, i control it on my existing lightwave rf hub and wireless switches. It works well however the unit was very difficult to wire up as the terminals are very small and the screws are quite fiddly. The dimmer units are much simpler to wire.

This product works fine and is small enough to fit in the recess. Coupled with wireless lightwave rf switches and fibaro motion sensors on domotiga, this product works fine and is small enough to fit in the recess.

Simple, practical and useful. This solved a difficult problem for us. Its beast to set up and works well. I use it with a time switch, so if i’ve found that if i rely on that to switch the appliance off rather than switching it off with the remote, i need to switch it off before pressing the on button, to reset it.

Good for switching on/off and 230volt led bulbs [lightwave pir and controlling system]. Used to switch on and off a pair of front door led lanterns – either side of the front door. Hence, can control c/o the lightwaverf system. Fitted the relay within a single marshall tufflex surface mount socket. My also stick on a lightwave pir near the front door ( and pair up with the relay) so the lights can be controlled by both the pir and the lightwaverf system.
