LightwaveRF Hand Held Group Controller : Push a button to be dim.

Garage Door Hardware

I have this controller paired with a lightwaverf double socket, siemens rf dimmer switch (same kit as lightwaverf rebranded for highstreet diy retailer) and a lightwaverf dimmer bulb in an outside light. In average sized 3 bed detached this is working well to date. Would recommend (in fact already have to anyone that will listen).

Brilliant installed without any fuss, just love the system. Here are the specifications for the LightwaveRF Hand Held Group Controller:

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • Switch (on/off) or dim (up/down) any number of LightwaveRF Lighting, Power and Heating devices
  • Turn your LightwaveRF Light Switches and Power Sockets ‘All Off’ at the touch of a button
  • Intelligent Lighting Control, Store and Recall ‘mood’ lighting settings, Save Energy
  • Intuitive, easy setup and use

This is a nice little gadget, so i thought i would recommend. . In case anyone ever reads these reviewsas we have far too many gadgets and gizmo’s in the family lounge, we thought we would try and contain them and use a programmer to control certain lights and plugs and this does the trick. We have 5 devices on the button (think it can accomodate alot more though)and can make the room feel how we want at the press of a couple of buttons. There wasn’t a battery protector on the battery compartment when we had it, but the battery seemed fine and has worked for months so far.

This mood controller doesn’t seem very good at adjusting the mood of my friend, it works with lights though.

The perfect combination of sophistication and useability. This is simple but effective, in a word brilliant. You’ll find my reviews of some other products in this range are critical, but this one is the business. You can pair any number of dimmers, light switches and relays with it (using a very simple procedure). Then adjust them all (manually or using a remote) to provide exactly the combination of lighting you want in a given situation – watching tv for instance – and then, once you are happy with the setup, just hold down one of the three ‘mood setting’ buttons for several seconds (until it flashes in a distinctive way and thereafter the remote will reproduce exactly that combination of dimmer settings, on/offs, etc. And if you change your mind you just readjust things and hold the button down again. There’s also a wall-mounted version that does the same thing.
