At some settings there is noise in the background. It also occasionally refuses to give any output at allwhen it works, it has better sound than the tv.
Great value for money and a worthy 5 stars. We have a tv that’s getting on a bit and the sound was not up to the type required for modern films. So, when given the opportunity to try this sound bar, i jumped at the chance. * it has a 60w total music output* this is a six-speaker (2 x bass reflex, 4 treble) soundbar to connect tvs or receivers* the aux input can be connected to smartphones, tablets or notebooks to serve as a stand alone component – i play and record my own music and the sound reproduction from an ipod through this system is phenominal* there is a separate on/off switch if you want to save power when the system is not in use, or you can set it to standby mode using the remote. * remote control & user guide (unfortunately not that detailed)* it includes these cables: aux, optical, aux to rca, and both an eu & uk power cable* the sizes are 80 x 9 x 8. 5 cm and it weighs in at 3 kgthe hand set controls the amount of both bass and treble required separately, as well as volume. It also includes three settings – music; movie; late-night (lowers the bass levels as well as the volume)i must admit that i’ve heard sound bars that almost blow out the windows when on full power. This is not in that category, but for the normal sized house, this is a great addition to the entertainment room, be that lounge, living room, bedroom or wherever. Great value for money and a worthy 5 stars.
If you’re spending a lot on a new tv, spending a little on improving the sound makes sense. I’m please with this purchase. I wanted a soundbar roughly this size with an optical input, so i took a chance despite it not having too many reviews (i think about 30 when i bought it). My tv had okay-ish sound but lacked ‘oomph’, so i wanted to get something that could add a bit more bass and generally provide better quality audio. The difference is noticeable. It’s not going to cut it for audiophiles, but it’s £65, so audiophiles aren’t going to be buying this. Basically, i just spent £780 on a nice new tv. I figured that i might as well spend a fraction of that (the aforementioned £65) bringing the sound up to par. Here are the specifications for the KÖNIG König Piano Soundbar –:

I was delighted to have had the chance to try this soundbar after our old speakers finally died after several years of faithful service. However, i did have doubts because the könig piano soundbar is considerably cheaper than our old kit and i worried about the quality. A few details before i give my verdict. This soundbar has 60w total output, has six speakers (two base reflex and four treble) and has an aux input which will allow you to connect to just about any sound-bearing gadget you have around the house. 5 cm, it will sit comfortably near or around your tv screen. Setting up may take a while, depending on what you intend to do with it but once up and running this little gem is a cracker. The sound that comes out of it is fantastic, with the bass and treble handled very well. The sound quality does not quite rival that of our old and more expensive speaker system but i did not expect a soundbar in the ‘budget’ bracket to give such an impressive performance.
This is the best thing we have bought in a long time dose everything it said on the pkt.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Excellent, low cost & subtle way to boost your home cinema set-up
- For the money its a cracker
- Good bit of kit – don’t settle on your telly’s inbuilt sound – you don’t know what you’re missing!
If you dont have a lot of devices to connect then this is a great choice for its price. Tried this through my ps4 running netflix and found the sound to be a definite improvement over my tv speakers. The night time mode worked well at thinning out the background and emphasising the voices so as to make it less disturbing for those trying to sleep. The only negative i have with this is the connection options on the back seem a little limited but for the price point this can be overlooked somewhat. If you dont have a lot of devices to connect then this is a great choice for its price.
This soundbar didn’t come with any clear instructions and i didn’t manage to connect it to my television, despite trying various methods but i did manage to connect it to my laptop and mounted it on the wall. The sound is very good and the bass is particularly impressive, much better than i thought it would be. Well worth buying but just wished i could have connected it to my t. Does anyone know if you can download an instruction book for it?. Other people don’t seem to have this problem, so maybe it’s just me.
