Klipsch X11i In-Ear Headphones : Great Sound But The Cable Quality Very Poor

Just what i was expecting them to be for that price. Simply brilliant, and an excellent alternative to my bose over ear headphones. The trick to the sound quality is spending 5 minutes to try out the different sizes for the ear tips. The difference in sound is amazing once you fit the right ones.

Great sound + bad comfort = not worth its price. Don’t get me wrong, the sound of those earphones is pretty amazing, only if you’re not walking. And that’s the catch, the cable is so noisy you can hardly hear your music unless you push the volume up, which really defeats the purpose of in-ear headphones. So unless you’re planning to use these at home or maybe work (given you have a sedentary job), i wouldn’t recommend these for commuting at allalso, you should know that listener’s fatigue is pretty strong with these, you probably won’t wear those more than an hour until you feel tired. So won’t recommend them for travelling either. Summary: great sound + bad comfort = not worth its price.

Great sound but beware of fitting. I bought these to replace my apple earpods. Exceptional quality for such small headphones – once they are properly seated in the ear (they should block out some sound without any music playing). Sound stage is superb as much as the bass, but bass is not overpowering. Personally, however, i found them a little painful after an hour or so, but i suspect that this is something your ears adjust to. Here are the specifications for the Klipsch X11i In-Ear Headphones:

Best ear buds i have ever heard. Best ear buds i have ever heard and i have sampled a lot. Fantastically detailed and neutral sound. Wonderful separation and soundstage. Very comfortable to wear for long periods too. Not for big bass lovers but the bass on offer is tight and controlled. Ticks all the boxes on rock, indie, folk and classical genres. Maybe not for hip-hop, house and and bass heavy content?.

Very confortable and excellent sound . Packaging could be easier to open.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Incredible sound but major flaw
  • Fantastic sound quality and comfort, but concerns over long-term durability
  • Flimsy connections

Second time i’ve purchased this product (i lost the first set unfortunately). Great quality, especially for something so small. Good bass range and blocks out external noise (you’ll need to play around with the various earbuds for your desired fit).

They are light and sound quality is always great, but you have to be careful with them. I’d have to concur with the majority of comments above. The sound quality is unsurpassed, they are so much easier to store/carry than anything that goes over your ears, but the cables, especially at the joining points, need strengthening. I spent 6 months criss crossing the tasman sea from nz and used the klipsch all the time on flights – i have 2 pairs. The majority of people seem to have those bose bluetooth things, but too cumbersome for my liking. The klipsh noise cancel, they are light and sound quality is always great, but you have to be careful with them. I resorted to sellotape in the end to do the ‘ruggedisation’ necessary for frequent use. Still recommend them however.

Great sound but the cable quality very poor. I wasn’t sure if i should rate this 3 star or 4 start. I got this as an xmas gift just over a year ago, at first i wasn’t keen on it because of the ear pods it made my ear funny each time i had them on and then i used it on my travels and realised that it can shut out unwanted noise really well. Whenever i’m on a public transport and want to shut out the noise of the world i just put them on and i’m in complete silence :-). This is a big but, the cable is rubbish. . I yanked the cable from my hand bag a few months ago and knew its only a matter of time before i start to hear the damage, now i can only receive sound from one ear. Cable too flimsy but i have got use to the idea of shutting down unwanted noise i’m about to order a new one :0 argh.

These headphones have two strong points and one fatal flaw. The first strong point is the sound. The bass is strong and crisp, as long as you have a good seal with your ears. The mids and highs are clear and balanced. I am a semi-professional musician, so being able to hear music properly is very important to me. The second strong point is their comfort. They are light and a good fit. I have small ear canal and i’ve come across very few pairs of in-ear headphones that anywhere close to as comfortable as these.

Fantastic sound quality and comfort, but concerns over long-term durability. I’ve owned a few different sets of in-ear earphones (shure and denon). In general, i like the way they block out external sounds and their discreetness. These klipsch earphones are, by far, the most comfortable i’ve ever tried – i can happily wear them all day without even a hint of discomfort setting in. They also sound fantastic, with a flat, revealing response that extends down to some very deep bass. As a result they are fairly ruthless – if the source material is no good, it’ll sound pants through these earphones. It also should be said that whilst the bass does go prodigiously deep, it’s also accurate – they don’t over-emphasise the bass so if you’re a “bass-head” that likes everything to be dominated by bass, you need other ‘phones. Finally for the plus-points – the remote and microphone work as expected on the iphone, with good call quality and no complaints, sound-wise, from people i’ve spoken to over the phone whilst using these. So, why not a full five stars?.Well, a few things:the packaging is horrible – lots of plastic that was difficult to get in to, to the point i was worried a couple of times that i might damage the earphones trying to get them out.

Much better than previous versions of these headphones in that the. Much better than previous versions of these headphones in that the collars from the drivers to the cables are much tougher and less prone to splitting. For me in terms of sound they are by far the best on the market.
