Very good machine had a little trouble with it at first.

I like it but can be better. Lovely piece of appliance which saves you washing up a lot of dishes. One pot is all you need which is so great for a mother like me. Cooking is so much easier with this. However, i do not like some aspectsi do not like the size. I do not like the fact that you have to hold onto the chop button to chop. You should be able to walk awayi wish the temperature range also goes higher than what it isin summary i like the idea of this, but needs improvement.

The book and some of them don’t come out great. The bimby is much easier and friendly to. There aren’t a lot of recipes in the book and some of them don’t come out great. The bimby is much easier and friendly to cook. Hier sind die Spezifikationen für die Kenwood kCook Cooking Food Processor:

  • One stop food processing and cooking
  • Pre set recipes
  • 3 pre set temperature settings
  • Blades, stirring paddle and steaming basket included
  • Dedicated chop button

It did the job perfectly and probably was the best i’ve tasted and i’ve been to top-notch restaurants in. I bought this primarily to make risotto and it did the job perfectly and probably was the best i’ve tasted and i’ve been to top-notch restaurants in italy. I also make sauces which require lots of stirring. I found the price very reasonable.

Chops, steams, stirs and cooks – a great tool for the modern kitchen. A food blender with cooking options, kenwood’s kcook is a versatile and well-priced kitchen helper which makes a range of cooking functions easy. Soups, risottos, casseroles, bolognese and chillis are a snap thanks to its high performance heating and straightforward controls. Packaged neatly and with clearly intelligible icons on the control panel, it is relatively compact for a device of its kind, although perhaps not quite as compact as the product shots might get you thinking. Make sure you measure up your work space first. Simple blending tasks are an absolute doddle with the kcook, thanks to its easy-to-fit chopping blade and stirring paddles. A digital timer automatically appears as soon as you start blending, so no counting in your head required here. The basket insert is a useful extra tool for steaming vegetables. Heating and cooking features are both straightforward, with a preset range of heat and ‘keep warm’ settings which, while limited in number, certainly cover all the essential bases. Stirring frequency can be toggled between a number of settings, or everything can be operated manually if you prefer. Besten Kenwood kCook Cooking Food Processor, 1.5 Litre, 150 W, White

Great kitchen gadget, particularly good for making risotto and soup. A really great little gadget which i’ve used a lot since it arrived. I’ve tested out the risotto recipe (see picture) and added chorizo – which produced deliciously creamy results that led to a run of risotto nights. I also love the soups this gadget makes, enabling me to use up whatever veg is leftover in the fridge – half expecting it to taste awful – how wrong i was – it’s deliciousi have the luxury of a fully equipped kitchen & the kcook is a bonus which i think is why the kcook would be brilliant for those with limited facilities – you can create tasty meals with the advantage of minimum fuss & cleaning. I’ve not put the utensils in the dishwasher yet, although the instructions say you can. I’ve not got to grips yet with the recipe app – i downloaded it & was a bit confused which ones were specifically for the kcook. 5 stars for the kcook – must dash, off to make some more risotto.

Well made, useful but not labour-saving. . The kcook comprises the base unit, cooking bowl and lid, a steamer basket, some tools, a manual in english and arabic, a product registration leaflet and a colour printed recipe guide in five european languages including english, which gives six recipes that uses the different features of the kcook. The tools supplied include a spatula, a four bladed chopper, a single armed stirring paddle, a 300 ml measuring beaker and a bottle brush for cleaning the internal column of the chopper or paddle. I’m very pleased they included this cleaning brush. It is very useful and makes cleaning the attachments easy. When the bowl and lid is fitted the unit measures 33cm from front to back, 18cm wide and 26cm high. Everything about the kcook is nicely made and smoothly finished. There are no impossible to reach places to wash. The kcook has three, one-touch button functions; one pot, sauce and steam, as well as full manual control of all the functions. There is a separate button to operate the chopper blade.

This is not a slow cooker, or a pressure cooker, it’s a food processor and cooker combined. I’ve never seen anything like it before. So i thought i would give it a go. Ok, so, on the plus side, it’s quite easy to use if you follow the recipes provided or on the app (android or itunes). For example, for bolognese, you chop the onion and celery using the chopping attachment, press the cook button to fry it off, switch the chopper for the stirrer and add your mince, tomatoes, etc. Off the little machine goes, constantly stirring your bolognese and bleeping when it’s cooked.

A great alternative to family meals made from jars. . There is much about this kenwood to like. First of all though is to understand what it is and is not. – it is not a pressure cooker. Some of these all in one devices are and they are much more expensive and much bigger- it is not a slow cooker. + it is a one pot time saver for basic recipesthe actual device comes in two sections. The base which plugs in and the metal jug. The footprint is not much larger than a set of large scales and similar to a coffee pod machine. The metal jug comes with a lid and two types of blades that fit on like the mixer in a bread machine. One blade chops and the other stirs.

Chops &cooks very efficiently in one 1. 5l bowl. Steams for 2 people, cooks for 3-4 max. Very few recipes, zero info on app. . This is a good addition to the kitchen for anyone who dislikes standing and stirring pots for hours on end. In addition to being a chopper and self-stirring cooking pot it also has the added bonus of being an efficient little steamer. ‘little’ is the operative word – it won’t steam large quantities of food but will serve two people. The footprint of the machine is surprisingly small compared with standard food processors, though at 1. 5 litres, this does have a fairly small capacity too. Many of the recipes supplied are stated to serve four people, but these are not large portions – under 400g of food per person. I used the machine to cook risotto from scratch for its first use, adapting a recipe of my own to one supplied with the machine.

Great addition to your kitchen. Oh no, another kitchen appliance to take up room on your work surface, but the good news is that is a reasonably small size, is rather nice looking, and it will replace other appliances such as your bulky food processor, and your electric steamer. This is a well built appliance, and a lot of thought has gone into it’s design and functionality. It is absolutely ideal for a small family of 3 to 4 people. It is not a slow cooker, but it helps you prepare meals by chopping the ingredients, then stirring them, and then cooking them. There are pre-set programs (pot cooking, making sauces, steaming etc) and recipes/guidance available from either the handbook included in the box, or you can download the kcook app. This app is not the easiest to use, but once you become familiar with it, you won’t want to be without it. Time, cooking temperature and the stir rate are all worked out automatically. Included in the box are a food processor blade for chopping and preparing ingredients, a stirring blade, that is used to continually stir the ingredients whilst they are being cooked, a steaming basket for steaming vegetables, chicken, fish etc, a measuring jug, a heat resistant spatula tool, the main cooking bowl, and a cleaning brush. The great thing about all these is that they can be washed in a dishwasher (including the metal cooking bowl that has electrical connectors at the bottom) , which saves an awful lot of time, mess, and inconvenience.
