Very comfy and a fantastic sound. . Trial music: pink floyd ‘dogs’, (discovery edition). Mike oldfield ‘tubular bells’, rush ‘the big money’ and led zeppelin ‘whole lotta love’. Paired to a samsung android. So, you’ve watched the 3 videos that accompanied the amazon photos. All 3 videos emphasise how comfortable these are to wear for long periods of time. The sound quality is astonishing, considering they are bud earpieces. Hence, the variety of tracks played for this review. The stereo is true and the intro to whole lotta love is so clear, with 1 guitar on one side and it’s echo on the other.

These expensive high quality in-ear headphones came with a lot of different plugs for all ear sizes and modes of wear. The way they are charged is neat and they were easily paired in the bluetooth settings of my apple devices. For this type of headphones, the sound quality was excellent. My main problem – besides not being able to find a pair of earplugs that worked for my ears (i. Didn’t pop out after ten minutes, or fail to hold in at all) – was that when exercising the chord would ‘bang’ against my neck and cause vibration noise in my ears which obscured the music or podcast i was listening to. As a result i have reverted back to wearing on-ear cans for far less money.

As soon as i had been ready to figure out which fitting choice worked ideal (and i frequently dislike earbuds because of the way they in shape, but these were being pretty cozy), the rest of set up was exceptionally basic. Pairing was as quick as turning on the presently billed headphones and getting my apple iphone and macbook pair up with a basic simply click. The battery enhance pack charged efficiently and was uncomplicated to attach, delivering an excess four several hours of listening time (for a total of 8 several hours concerning fees). The sound via these was absoloutely fantastic and the structure intended no having the cord caught when shifting about. Free of charge cell phone app was out there (both for ios as well as andriod)that retained tabs on how significantly battery life was left and it proved to be very exact. Wore these for listening to tunes and even though gaming when on holiday getaway in the caravan and no 1 complained about sound leakage, both. Here are the specifications for the Jaybird Freedom F5 In-Ear tooth Headphone – Ocean:

I’ve been utilizing these headphones regularly for a month or so now and i can’t imagine lifetime without the need of him. They are incredibly easy to set up and i was right away able to stream audio wirelessly from my cellular phone. The headphones can be managed from buttons on the management module by just one of the earpieces (skip, go back, volume, off/on) or from your cell phone, and these buttons are uncomplicated to use on the go. Voice alerts allow you know, in increments of 20%, how a great deal cost is remaining and give advance warning of when the headphones will need to have recharging. The very best factor about these headphones is the charger. To cost the headphones you attach the charger to the command module. The charger is little more than enough that you can keep on using the headphones even though it is charging and each and every charge offers about four hours of audio. The charger is then alone charged working with the usb attachment furnished. As a result, as perfectly as currently being small and hassle-free, this arrangement also means you really should hardly ever discover yourself out of cost.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Pricey but nicey!
  • Great headphones
  • Not perfect, but still very good.

Good audio and style and design, stand out from the group. Summary——————————————-pluses- fantastic wealthy audio, loads of bass- ‘my audio app’ permits alteration of degrees- appear wonderful, structure stands out from the opposition- quite light, scarcely detect they are onminus- ear match was an concern for me, though fixable (see my correct at the bottom of the review)- battery life suffers due to style- stress of getting rid of the means to demand headphones because of to battery demand designi had finished my investigate on wi-fi headphones inside the one hundred fifty – two hundred cost range and the two that seemed to stand out from the crowd had been the bose soundsport (coming in at £139) and the jaybird x2 (former design to the jaybird freedom). I initially ordered the bose soundsport but for good reasons thorough under i returned them. As the jaybird freedom (the product superseding the jaybird x2) was just about to arrive out i made a decision to wait around and get these. Audio good quality——————————————-in my view these headphones thoroughly outshine the bose soundsport. I was pretty upset with the sum of bass and depth of audio on the bose. I am also a supporter of sound reduction headphones – the bose are not sound reduction and the seal in the ears is quite free. This is purposeful as they are meant for for runners or cyclists who need to have to be mindful of encompassing sounds (website traffic and so forth). I don my wi-fi headphones mostly in a pretty noisy health club natural environment – i never want to have the pumping techno they engage in to be seeping into my ears while i am listening to my selected tunes whilst working out. Obtaining explained that, the freedom appear with lots of distinct ear items so if you are a runner and need to have to listen to ambient noise i am certain you can use another healthy to accomplish this.

Glimpse the component, seem great, but keep an eye on that charger. . I definitely wanted to like these – i want a good pair of bluetooth headphones as soon after finding a very good few decades out of my sennheiser mm450-x’s they are starting off to fray a bit at the edges. Stunning styling, and adequate option in the ear-bud section to be certain a good in shape (beware, although, my cat appeared to specifically delight in munching on the memory foam addresses – your moggie may well differ). The audio, soon after a few times of bedding in, is pleasing. It’s possible a minimal bass-large, which was a surprise to me, and they deficiency the openness of the sennheisers – but then which is a whole lot to do with them currently being in, not on ears. I didn’t have any difficulties with the bluetooth reception, and pairing with an iphone, a macbook and a computer system was easy. Much less rewarding was downloading the freedom app, which, in idea, permits you to customise the seem of the telephones. I say in theory, because i never ever received the application to load. Who knows, it may be great.

Natural, rich sounding bluetooth headphones. Tricky to get the right fit but once you do they are supremein the box there is a soft carrying pouch, instruction manual, the headphones, three sets of wings tips (s, m, l ), and six pairs of ear tips as well in either silicone or comply memory (s,m,l). Short charging cable, two wire clips for cable management, and small clip to secure it to your shirt. And the all-important charging cradle. The box opening is in the old apple tradition – a bit showbiz. I’m a sucker for that schtickthe bluetooth interface will remember up to 8 devices and will also connect to two devices simultaneously. The charging cradle also contains a battery so you can get extra time from that when necessary. The major downside is the battery life at four hours of continuous playback, with another four from the charging clip.

Excellent quality headphones – great for sports use or when walking. These are excellent quality headphones. The only downside i have noted for them is that if you mislay the bespoke charger, which i did for some time, then you are scuppered. Sound quality is excellent and they are comfortable to wear with a good range of earbuds. The charge doesn’t last as long as i’d like but that’s a common issue with bluetooth earphones.

The charger is small enough that you can continue using the headphones while it is charging and each charge gives about 4 hours of music. The charger is then itself charged using the usb attachment provided. Therefore, as well as being small and convenient, this arrangement also means you should never find yourself out of charge.

Music upgrade on sound and fit. . Before i purchased jaybird freedom i was using the jaybird x2 which i personal wasn’t impressed with especially the sound quality or the fit of the headphones as they never felt secure in my ears and back noise would leak into the sound even with all the ear pieces. So was a bit wary of purchasing another set from jaybird, especially with the high price tag but after reading various online reviews i decide to purchase these, i have to say i was really surprised as the sound and the fit was really impressive. The sound quality of these is much more defined than x2 and with the app they really come into their own you can either custom the listening experience to suit your taste or pick one from the community where theres a lot to choose. The sound range of headphones is much better and my music has been given a new lease of life. The base is much better than the x2 and mid tone are crisp and clear considering these are bluetooth head phones, the app really helps with this. They fit in the eat really securely and they feel very light in your ears compared to the x2 which always seem to feel loose especially when you running or circuit training. I’ve brought a lot of sports wireless headphones and i have to say these are the best ones so far, the only small thing is the cost of them, but a good pair of wireless headphones.

Once i were able to figure out which fitting option worked best (and i generally dislike earbuds because of the way they fit, but these were very comfortable), the rest of set up was extremely simple. Pairing was as easy as turning on the already charged headphones and having my iphone and macbook pair up with a simple click. The battery boost pack charged efficiently and was simple to attach, providing an extra four hours of listening time (for a total of 8 hours between charges). The sound through these was absoloutely fantastic and the design meant no getting the cord caught when moving about. Free phone app was available (both for ios as well as andriod)that kept tabs on how much battery life was left and it proved to be very accurate. Wore these for listening to music and while gaming while on holiday in the caravan and no one complained about noise leakage, either.

Look the part, sound great, but keep an eye on that charger. . I really wanted to like these – i need a good pair of bluetooth headphones as after getting a good few years out of my sennheiser mm450-x’s they are starting to fray a bit at the edges. Beautiful styling, and enough choice in the ear-bud department to ensure a good fit (beware, though, my cat seemed to particularly enjoy munching on the memory foam covers – your moggie may vary). The sound, after a few days of bedding in, is appealing. Maybe a little bass-heavy, which was a surprise to me, and they lack the openness of the sennheisers – but then that’s a lot to do with them being in, not on ears. I didn’t have any problems with the bluetooth reception, and pairing with an iphone, a macbook and a pc was straightforward. Less rewarding was downloading the freedom app, which, in theory, allows you to customise the sound of the phones. I say in theory, because i never got the app to load. Who knows, it may be wonderful.

Impressive bluetooth headphones. Bluetooth headphones are a true modern phenomenon. Gone are the days when you have to walk around desperately trying to protect a fragile cable from knocks and pulls with the constant fear of cable-breakage. Gone are the days when indeed you are simply slightly restricted from moving around without restraint. These jaybird headphones are a good representation of what bluetooth headphones can offer. #firstly i’ll begin by saying they are comfortable; in my view in-ears are never comfortable for very extended periods of time but these are up there with the best ones i’ve used. They fit snugly into the ear and you don’t fear they will fall out even when performing quite vigorous exercise for example. In terms of sound, they are undeniably tinnier than full around-ears, but what in-ear headphones aren’t. Both have their advantages and disadvantages and ultimately it is for the consumer to decide what sacrifice they want to make. Nevertheless the sound in these headphones is better than other in-ears i’ve used and they do a reasonable job at blocking out low-level outside noise.

Good but not stellar, and not worth the price. I was very excited to receive my first pair of wireless headphones, having for years used over-the-head wired ones. Overall summary: these are acceptable, but far too expensive for what they are. Fit: the headphones come with a number of different ear attachments. I went with the medium in-ear, which fitted quite snugly into my ear. However, the buds don’t fit tightly onto the actual speaker part, which meant that on my second day of use the earbud came off inside my ear canal. I had to get a colleague to extract it with tweezers, which was a bit scaryfunction: the sound quality is average. The bass levels are pretty low and i can’t hear a lot of the background effects that i’m used to across a range of different music types. I was reluctant to install the mysound app on my iphone to personalise my sound (although in theory having that function is excellent) but, once i did so, i was able to boost the bass a little. However, the overall fidelity didn’t improve despite playing with the settings a fair amount.

Of course, it begins as soon as one lifts the box: a perfect size that fits nicely in one’s hands with the lovely finish and graphics, nice little icons down the edge of people who, before you, have found and placed trust in this product. Then comes the little flap that one pulls to release the magnetic clasp and there you have the clear plastic cover protecting the gorgeous contents with the subtle yet up-to-the-minute styling of turquoise and silver. The wires and ear-bud drivers are located tantalisingly on the bright-white former that itself has a lovely tactile feel. In the centre the little charging cradle and the slight bulge in the track that contains the wires to accommodate the slim and elliptical control unit. Prise it all loose carefully and there it rests with a restrained yet robust elegance in one’s grasp. The headphones feel light and dainty but one realises that this is because of the technical and uncompromising stance that has been taken to create a product of the quality hinted at by the box and presentation. It never disappoints in such an arena. The app loads up effortlessly for android or iphone and pairing takes place within seconds of power on. The headphones come partially charged and also the wonderful little docking station acts as a usb interface but also has a battery within to charge the headphones and did so pretty quickly.

Not perfect, but still very good. . There are lots of things i like about these headphones. They are beautifully packaged and when headphones cost this much i expect quality packaging, and it is; the manufacturer has a really good eye for detail here and the earphones themselves also have a pleasing aesthetic and look very stylish. They come with a range of fins, and ear-buds (silicon and foam) in a wide variety of sizes so it’s very easy to find a fit that is both comfortable and keeps the earphones in place when on the move. They are light weight to wear and the clothes clip is very welcome to keep the wire in place as it does have a tendency to stray and catch on clothes when in motion. This is something i’ve always found to be an issue with thinner wire headphones like these over the ribbon type – the latter being my preference usually. They have been connected to an ipad and a iphone 6s with no issues. Set up was very easy and i found that i was able to take calls, interact with siri (nice surprise, wasn’t expecting that), skip tracks, adjust volume (all the usual) very intuitively without having to refer to the manual. Initially i was disappointed with the sound quality because as others have said, it sounded quite tinny however once i downloaded the app i was able to improve this significantly. Via the app there several pre-sets on the dashboard home page, but if you click on to ‘discover’ you’ll find a lot more with the option to save them to the home page.

It could so easily have been 5 stars. I have owned these headphones for over two weeks and feel that they have been rigorously tested by my family. Both my wife (iphone) and son (android) have downloaded the app to use the earphones with their mobile handsets and whilst i haven’t got an app for my blackberry passport, i can confirm that the headphones linked in and operated fine with all three of these. In addition, i have lined them into my amazon fire tablet and my ipad 2; no problems with either tablet either. From a charging perspective, charging is easy and i can confirm that on a recent mid haul flight, i was able to use them throughout the flight without any interruptions and at this new stage, 8 hours is easy to achieve using the supplied charging clip. Both my wife and son felt that they were easy to customise and control wth the app and my son, who plays a lot of sport found them really good when training and cycling. He confirmed that they are sweat proof and i am grateful for the fact that there were several earpiece options – they are excellent, take a look at the video. These are a five star item in many ways. The ear fitting options are great, the apps allow for customisable sounds, the sounds themselves are pretty good, but are not the best i have ever used and i have to say that you can get 8 hours use out of them.

Excellent sound, multitudinous choices of fit . Fantastic sound quality, smooth rich tones, which i would expect from a premium range set like this. While i normally prefer to wear the larger style headphones with padded cups, these are surprisingly comfortable and this is in part due not just to the design but to the depth of choice there is in fittings, with a choice of memory foam, and also silicon buds in different sizes and even the option of adding fins for extra security especially useful if you use them whilst doing sport. The other huge bonus with these is that the charger doubles as a battery pack and doubles the battery storage from 4 hours to 8 hours+, although attaching this to the controller does add a little weight. This can be offset by using the shirt clip provided which gives the cable a bit more stability and stops it flapping about and slapping against your chest. Also included is a neat storage pouch to keep all your bits in. Excellent design and quality.

A pair of wireless headphones that are comfortable to run with. I’ve tried so many pairs over the last couple of years but these are by far the best. Really easy to set up, lightweight and with lots of different sized ear cover things (not sure of the technical term) so you can make sure they fit your ears perfectly. They don’t fall out – hooray – and are comfy too. It’s so nice to run without worrying about a wire, and not to have to run holding my phone. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Super sound, super comfortable. . The buds comes in a side opening box which has a magnet fastening. Lifting the flap gives an impressive first view of the tiny neatness of the jaybird freedom wireless buds. I have the ocean blue colour which is very attractive. Inside the box are the freedom buds, together with a micro usb charger which also acts as a battery pack, a carry pouch for the headset with spring clip opening, 6 memory foam ‘comply’ ear tips (3 pairs), 6 silicone ear tips (3 pairs), 8 silicone ear fins (4 pairs, each pair is a different size), a shirt cord clip, 2 cord management clips, a 6 cm micro usb to usb cable for charging, a quick start guide booklet in six languages, a warning leaflet and a jaybird decal sticker suitable for putting on a laptop. The wireless headset holds 4 hours of charge. Using the charger as a battery pack adds a further 4 hours usage time to the buds. It is possible to wear the buds with the battery pad attached to the controller. This adds extra weight to the right side and extra size to the inline controller but the weight is less noticeable when the buds are worn over the ear. When the battery pack is connected, the red led on the inline controller is always on.

About the best, and most comfortable in-ear headphones i’ve used. I have really enjoyed wearing these jaybird freedom headphones the last couple of weeks – they are so comfortable and a joy to wear. This is mainly due to them being lightweight i think, but also the customisable earbuds (3 size options) and ear fins (3 size options). I am no audiophile and find the sound to be very good. There are a range of customisation options but i have just used them as they come and am getting great clear audio – no complaints here. They have been good for use during exercise – walking and running didn’t cause any problems and they stayed in, unlike many others, which have a tendency to work loose. The build quality feels superb and leaves you in no doubt this is a premium product. Battery life is good and the 4 hours quoted is about right. It is nice to have the additional battery pack for a further 4 hours, but this does add a little weight, so i avoided using this during exercise as it was a little less comfortable – absolutely fine for normal use though. The price is steep but these are about the best in-ear headphones i’ve used.

Great sound, no mess, no cables. . Overall a very good product. The first impression was that there was a lot of components, plus the various options, in the box. You get the earphones themselves, a small auxiliary battery, bag, cable clips, collar clip and numerous sized buds and ear inserts. You will need to work out which size (s,m,l) buds you want to use and which type (sport or noise). Next there are in ear inserts that help to keep the buds in your ear canal. I quick tidy up with the cable clips and attach to the back of your shirt for sport. Setting up on an iphone was easy but you will need to check in settings to get the sync to lock in. On the first couple of attempts the earphones weren’t being seen by the iphone. One visit to settings and it always syncs now.

Earphones with lots of different wearing styles, great for exercising. These are really good quality earphones for activities with a lot of movement like exercising. The wide range of customizable wearing styles means that you can choose to wear this in a lot of different ways, whether it’s over the ears, with or without fins (the fins fits inside your ear for extra support) or under the ear also with or without fins. Not only that they come with a range of different sized ear buds both in silicon and memory foam variety. The silicon personally worked best for me when exercising and they can be taken off to be cleaned under the tap. It also comes with a clip for attaching the cable to your clothes and some cord clips, which allows you to shorten the cable to stop it flapping about or getting caught. When not in use it comes with a handy leather effect pouch for storage. I have nothing to complain about the sound quality and they stay in place really well when exercising with no slippage from sweat. The charge time is true to it’s word, they last 4 hours and with the battery pack another 4 hours. Along the cable there is an in-line remote, with this you can use this to control your play list and answer any phone calls.
