Quick review============looks lovely, works like a charm and has a decent battery lifelonger=======in terms of design it has rounded edges, minimalist hp branding. It’s a top end luxury laptop. It’s a shiny shell which looks blackish. (called ash silver) it’s super slim, and has a premium look and feel. Keyboard=======i am a heavy touch typist, and the wrist rest provides solid support and there is no noticeable flex in the keyboard. The keys are comfortable to use and i have not noticed any fatigue over extended sessions. Touchpad=======this one is designed very well – the buttons are easy to click, it’s very responsive. Speed======it boots up in less than 20 seconds and underneath its beautiful frame house a very speedy processor, the intel core i7-6500u 4 mb cache, 2 core. For me it provides more than enough performance for productivity and entertainment.

Good for photo enhancing and promotions with all the things that i. Possessing study a handful of negative testimonials, i was marginally worried about my order but went forward anyway. What a equipment it is rapid, light-weight and beautiful. The keys are gentle to the touch. It will not get hot in use-perfectly, warm, but not as sizzling as my final equipment. Excellent for photograph modifying and offers with everything that i toss at it. I like the ‘tablet’ mode, wonderful when accomplishing ‘stuff’ though looking at the telly. Entirely, a excellent, extremely transportable, quick, powerful, sleek device.

It truly is a truly very good laptop and i adore making use of all the time i. It is really a genuinely fantastic laptop and i like employing all the time i do all my higher education operate on it and it will work like a pill.

Small business class appears and performance. This hp spectre 13-4129na arrives elaborately boxed, even though billed as ash silver on this site, i been given a brown/copper model with grey backlit keys which seems to be extremely sophisticated. In the box apart from the computer system you get a uk mains power supply, usb ethernet adaptor, sleeve and receiving begun guidebook. My model has a spec of an i7-6500 (2500 mhz) processor, 8gb of ram, a 512gb ssd and thirteen. 3′ 2560 x 1440qhd ips touchscreen. The external design is generally metallic and feels sturdy although not specially mild at 1. The hp spectre is billed as a convertible laptop but can take a unique strategy to the ms area ebook – the hp won’t have a detachable tablet unit, as an alternative, the monitor folds through a hundred and eighty degrees and when the cover/base are back to back again the device is usable as a pill. Apart from ‘normal’ use as a standard notebook you can also use the computer standing up on its edges and so forth. Compared with the area ebook no contact pen is bundled in the pack despite the fact that i have an understanding of particular pens are suitable – if that’s the circumstance then probably hp are underselling this product.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Great laptop combo.
  • Great laptop highly recommend it
  • Business Class looks and performance

I enjoy hp goods and this is a different fantastic just one. The initial set up was uncomplicated to observe and to entire and not at all tricky. The graphics are crisp and straightforward to see (i have vdu issues). Whichever posture it was set in, it stayed in and was as use in a position in any. I notably found that the ‘tablet’ shape was fantastic for streaming / net centered searching. A excellent assortment of pre set up apps with far more which can be added to conveniently. Touchscreen was as sensitive as my ipad and didn’t truly feel flimsy however i would be hesitant permitting a large handed boy or girl / adult use the tablet / touchscreen. All in all, hp have provided a further remarkable item.

I am around the moon with this laptop, and inspite of a couple of flaws i would price it as really as my apple mac laptop. First of all it appears to be like wonderful in the flesh – a stunning metallic brown colour with some gold accents. It seriously does stand out, and you can inform the high-quality from the keyboard and the way the display screen pivots that this will past for a long time. In terms of highlights, the keyboard and monitor are good. The keyboard is pretty tactile and has just the ideal quantity of give to the keys. The monitor is brilliant and sharp, nevertheless a tiny little bit also reflective. There is some serious components under the bonnet so multi-tasking appeared a breeze. The speedy commence-up function is extremely beneficial – using just seconds to log in and start out accessing electronic mail and the world wide web. Battery lifestyle was fantastic though not excellent – i acquired about five-6 hours watching movies in excess of an world wide web streaming company.

Bought for my son for his uni maths lectures. He loves it especially when used as a tablet with the stylus pen. He can write formulas in free hand and then save them to his main pc. We spent a while reading all the reviews and this was deffo the one to get. Prime delivery so arrived next day.

A laptop that embodies quality without being a macbook. Easily the best laptop that i have ever owned. It is sleek, responsive and most importantly functions perfectly. The display is crisp, i bought the qhd version and the fidelity for such a portable, transformable laptop is impressive. The sound is crisp, the bang and oulfsen speakers sound incredibly good for a laptop of its size, and whilst the sound is by no means exceptional it meets and exceeds expectations, with a clear audio and a sound that doesn’t dampen or become tinny even at higher volumes. The battery life – from what i’ve seen so far anyway – is on par with what is advertised, with full brightness / and multi-media i would estimate a battery life of around 8 hours. With word documents and browsing i would estimate 10-12. The touchscreen is responsive and intuitive, and it switches easily and quickly between laptop and tablet mode. What most impressed me about the spectre was the attention to detail. Hp really viewed this laptop from the perspective of the consumer.

Great for photo editing and deals with everything that i. Having read a few negative reviews, i was slightly worried about my purchase but went ahead anyway. What a machine it is fast, light and attractive. The keys are light to the touch. It doesn’t get hot in use-well, warm, but not as hot as my last machine. Great for photo editing and deals with everything that i throw at it. I love the ‘tablet’ mode, great when doing ‘stuff’ while watching the telly. Altogether, a superb, ultra portable, fast, powerful, sleek machine.

One of the best-looking, powerful devices hp has ever produced that well worth a look over many other 2-in-1 laptop. Designthe hp spectre 13-4129na x360 convertible laptop, a fully metal body with a nice glossy oled touch screen, a thin device that measures only 0. 63-inches thick, is one of the most beautifully designed hybrid,future-proof laptop you can have with its premium appearance that is more powerful (with its intel core i7 configuration, trio of usb-c ports) than the latest macbook and for a lower price(not to consider the incresing price plan that apple wants to impose in uk) and if there’s such thing as a macbook killer, it would be called the hp spectre. The outer case of the spectre x360 is almost no embellishments on its plain, anodized aluminum chassis aside from the words “hewlett packard” on theright side of the laptop lid and another one printed on the rear edge of the laptop’s base. Also, there’s a thin slit of plastic that runs parallel to the top of the screen, which most likely hides the wi-fi radio. The hp spectre x360 is like lenovo and apple combined – getting all the positive traits to create a perfect by-product:the best elements of the macbook air’s aluminum body with the rotating hinges from lenovo’s yoga series of convertible machines (turning to 360 degree from notebook to a tablet)this transforming mechanic might sound very similar any of lenovo’s yoga hybrids. Weight and sizehp spectre x360’s 12. 63 inches or 324 x 218 x 16mm (w x d x h) dimensions, there’s no doubt this is one of the smallest 2-in-1 hybrid laptops ever made.

To sum up this laptop after 1 months use: incredible, best premium laptop at this price point (~£800-1000) and screen size, amazing battery life, incredibly lightweight and portable, massive recommended over hp’s other 13″ spectrepros:+ battery life is outstanding, i have consistently had up to 9 hrs continuous use on 40% screen brightness. This involves wifi always on, browsing, watching 4hrs of netflix and general office work. 2 ssd is truly latest generation and can boot to windows within a few seconds. And the processor is also latest 6th generation intel+ screen – i have the 1080p fhd screen, it is a beautiful sharp display with roughly 130 degrees viewing angles. The touchscreen has full set of gestures and very responsive. Conversely, i *do not* recommend getting the qhd display as this causes issues with windows scaling, significantly reduces battery life, and at 13″ is not noticeably any better+ backlit keyboard – this is so hard to come by in other laptops and is much needed (trust me)+ design – if there is anything that competes with and i feel trumps the macbook, is the hp spectre. It feels so premium, polished aluminium from top to bottom, and incredibly lightweight+ 360 folding – okay so i don’t use this feature much, but is cool to have and works well+ touchpad – this is brilliant, very smooth and responsive, lots of gestures and options to customize. It has a feature to ignore accidental touches when typing on the keyboard. It also has a press-to-click feature (much like the mac). + ports – lots of them 3x usb 3. 0 ports, a full-sized hdmi and display port, mixed headphone/mic jack so you can use your mobile phone headsetmediocre:= sound – although bang&olufsen they are still typical laptop speakers, just better to use headphones= graphics – so it uses the intel integrated graphics engine, don’t bother with gaming on this laptop, but the compromise means better battery life and low heat= temperature – on modest use the fans are off and the temperature stay lukewarm (~25-30c), if you start heavy multitasking (e. Encoding video whilst computing maths on stats software) then yeah it will get noticeably hot. But on general office use with music and youtube running in the background it stays normalcons:- glossy screen – yes the display is amazing, but the glossy finish means you will need to up the brightness on a sunny day/using it outside (though in the uk days like that are hard to come by)- bloatware – so it does come with it fair share of bloatware and trials, not enough to slow the computer down but i recommend reinstalling windowswhat i advise to do if you get this laptop:+ reinstall windows, there is an option to do this in windows 10 to remove pre-installed apps (search google)+ get the 1080p fhd screen over the qhd, its also the cheaper option :)+ get some good headphones with an integrated mic+ definitely remove mcafee internet security, its absolutely useless and slow+ get f.

Only negative points are dodgy “tablet mode” – a win10 “feature” – and it’s somewhat bling appearance.

I love hp products and this is another fantastic one. The initial set up was easy to follow and to complete and not at all difficult. The graphics are crisp and easy to see (i have vdu issues). Whichever position it was put in, it stayed in and was as use able in any. I particularly found that the “tablet” shape was fantastic for streaming / internet based shopping. A good range of pre installed apps with more which can be added to easily. Touchscreen was as sensitive as my ipad and didn’t feel flimsy though i would be hesitant allowing a heavy handed child / adult use the tablet / touchscreen. All in all, hp have provided another outstanding product.

I am over the moon with this laptop, and despite a few flaws i would rate it as highly as my apple mac laptop. Firstly it looks fantastic in the flesh – a beautiful metallic brown colour with some gold accents. It really does stand out, and you can tell the quality from the keyboard and the way the screen pivots that this will last for a long time. In terms of highlights, the keyboard and screen are brilliant. The keyboard is very tactile and has just the right amount of give to the keys. The screen is bright and sharp, though a tiny bit too reflective. There is some serious hardware under the bonnet so multi-tasking seemed a breeze. The rapid start-up feature is very useful – taking just seconds to log in and start accessing email and the internet. Battery life was good though not great – i got about 5-6 hours watching movies over an internet streaming service.

Business class looks and performance. This hp spectre 13-4129na comes elaborately boxed, although billed as ash silver on this page, i received a brown/copper version with grey backlit keys which looks very sophisticated. In the box apart from the pc you get a uk mains power supply, usb ethernet adaptor, sleeve and getting started guide. My version has a spec of an i7-6500 (2500 mhz) processor, 8gb of ram, a 512gb ssd and 13. 3″ 2560 x 1440qhd ips touchscreen. The external construction is mainly metal and feels robust although not particularly light at 1. The hp spectre is billed as a convertible laptop but takes a different approach to the ms surface book – the hp doesn’t have a detachable tablet unit, instead, the screen folds through 180 degrees and when the cover/base are back to back the unit is usable as a tablet. Apart from “normal” use as a conventional notebook you can also use the pc standing up on its edges etc. Unlike the surface book no touch pen is bundled in the pack although i understand certain pens are compatible – if that’s the case then perhaps hp are underselling this model.
