HP Spectre x360 13-4001na Convertible Laptop, Solid Performance

Incredibly light-weight, responsive touchscreen and touchpad. A battery charge lasts for a really prolonged time. I use it as a college student and i am incredibly pleased with it.

Very happy with this laptop – so much. Mine is the high definition (none 4k) display screen, i5 with 256bg of memory. I intentionally prevented the 4k display screen as i had sizeable grief making an attempt to get adobe and some other solutions to operate at sensible resolutions on my lenovo yoga three. This scenario is increasing but believe that me, you won’t regret leaving 4k by itself – it provides nothing, eats battery everyday living and offers the aforementioned resolution problems. Seems – not negative – aluminium tribute to a well-acknowledged apple product but by some means nameless. Lacks the interesting different vibe of the lenovo yoga three with its trick hinge but in a unique world to the black plastic rectangles out there. General performance is terrific – swap on is a handful of seconds and wake up is in the vicinity of as instantaneous as you need. Operation is seriously sharp, can have masses of applicaitons open up and several tabs with no sluggish down. Renders movie, animations etc in adobe goods and serif merchandise immediately (i use these all the time) and doesn’t throttle the processor to cope with heating troubles – it will not have them.

Nearly delivers what one wants, but battery life not as claimed and uncomfortable and clunky when used as a tablet. . Was ‘wowed’ by this hp lappy, thin, convertible, powerful, 8gb memory and. 5tb ssd with an amazing battery life. So, what do i think 6 months later?against:owing to its slim design, which is great, it doesn’t have a dvd drive, so you need to buy one of these – a slim one so you can carry it with you. When doing large back-ups etc, i use ethernet over mains but the hp spectre does not have an rj45 socket. . So you need to buy an usb to rj45 female adapter. Using it as a tablet is uncomfortable on your lap so, owing to this, i rarely use it as a tablet. For some reason many apps display very small fonts, so i find myself having to expand the screen on numerous occasions. The reviews hp and many professional computer reviews raved about the battery life – 9-10 hours. At first i experienced this and loved not having to plug it in at all during the working day.

If only the touch pad was smaller. The only reason i didn’t give the 5 stars, is because the touch pad is too big. If you have an average palm size, you will constantly touch and move the cursor by mistake. The only reason i haven’t returned it is because my wife is happy with it. I really don’t get those designers, you have a touch screen, and still, they design a huge size touch padapart of the touch pad, the rest is impeccable.

Had the i7 512gb version for 3 months now and it’s an excellent laptop. Other reviewers are right that there are a few minor niggles – sounds occasionally (i. Twice in the 3 months i’ve had it) gets fuzzy on videos and i have to restart (some kind of windows 10 driver issue i think) and the trackpad is not the best one going – but then you don’t need it much as the touchscreen is great. Windows 10 upgrade was straightforward and, other than the occasional fuzzy sound issue mentioned above, the windows 10 experience has been very pleasant. Does a fine job of combining the flexibility and power of a pc with the portability, battery life, user experience and build quality of a premium tablet.

Very lightweight, responsive touchscreen and touchpad. A battery charge lasts for a very long time. I use it as a student and i’m very pleased with it.

Very pleased with this laptop – so far. Mine is the hd (none 4k) screen, i5 with 256bg of memory. I deliberately avoided the 4k screen as i had considerable grief trying to get adobe and some other products to run at sensible resolutions on my lenovo yoga 3. This situation is improving but believe me, you won’t regret leaving 4k alone – it adds nothing, eats battery life and gives the aforementioned resolution problems. Looks – not bad – aluminium tribute to a well-known apple product but somehow anonymous. Lacks the cool alternative vibe of the lenovo yoga 3 with its trick hinge but in a different world to the black plastic rectangles out there. Performance is great – switch on is a few seconds and wake up is near as instant as you need. Operation is really sharp, can have loads of applicaitons open and multiple tabs with no slow down. Renders video, animations etc in adobe products and serif products quickly (i use these all the time) and doesn’t throttle the processor to cope with heating issues – it doesn’t have them.
