Good laptop for the selling price – but has some troubles. . Can’t have an understanding of how this merchandise has no reviews – but i am going to critique it myselfi bought this laptop right after bieng disappointing with the value to overall performance ratios i experienced with an msi laptop and an asus laptop which will now be returned. I initial paid out £1300 for a vr completely ready laptop that couldn’t run vr(msi), i then paid 1660 for a a laptop that was wonderful in general performance but horrible in construct top quality (asus), and i now have the most effective of equally worlds – the hp omen. Priced at 1500, this detail in fact beats the performance of my asus. It has a 7700hq (beating the 6700hq of the much more highly-priced asus), 8gb ram and a 1070. It also has a larger screen which is wonderful, and significantly top-quality create excellent (discussed underneath)so, for the value, acquiring this laptop receives you:much better general performance then competitorsbetter create quality then specific competition (asus)a bigger display screen, as seventeen inch laptops with this spec are generally hundreds extra costly. Even so, the inexpensive rate has some downsides (which failed to trouble me), together with:keyboard is rather primary – backlights have no brightness environment, you will find no custom hotkeys like on my asus or msi laptopvery essential box – no pleasant things included like in competitor packing containers this sort of as asus’s cable ties or msi’s stickers etc. Not as aggressive on the lookout as other gaming laptops at this cost selection. Not as substantially depth as other laptops – structure is very simple however i believe it seems to be classier and better then my tacky asus laptop. Unboxingunboxing the laptop i felt was really very simple as there is certainly almost nothing in the box.

Pushed it on all games i have operates great with gta5 full graphics on black ops three full on fifa 17. For the price it’s outstanding.

Great price range gaming laptop, obtained a 3dmark11 score of 7923, so the gtx 1050 is slower in 3dmark eleven but is a lot quicker in hearth strike & skydiver than a gtx 970m.Here are the specifications for the HP Omen by 17-w200na Laptop:

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • A quad-core Intel Core processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics; you’ll be prepared for the generation of gaming with the high-powered hardware that VR demands

  • Hone your skills on a streamlined laptop designed to dominate any game; with a sleek profile and dragon red backlit keyboard, it’s ready for the competition

Pushed it on all games i have operates great with gta5 full graphics on black ops three full on fifa 17. For the price it’s outstanding.

This laptop is extraordinary in conditions of the means to operate video games like gta and many others that need a first rate computer system. This laptop is outstanding in terms of the capacity to run game titles like gta and other people that involve a first rate computer. Style and design is very pleasant, keyboard is one particular of the very best i have utilized on a laptop and the touchpad (even though i almost never use it) is superior than any other one i’ve applied just before. The battery life isn’t really the biggest nonetheless, i together with a lot of other players typically depart it plugged in so battery lifetime is relatively irrelevant. A different large as well as with this laptop is the cooling technique. The laptop by itself in no way definitely appears to be to get as warm as previous laptops i have used and the followers them selves are not extremely load which is a enormous benefit. On the other hand, it is not all great with this laptop. First of all, the display screen brightness isn’t the greatest.Looks relatively dim at instances which you get utilized to but it is really not wonderful if say you happen to be observing a film and it can be established in a dark room.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Amazing product!
  • very good gaming laptop great size is a bit heavy when
  • This laptop is incredible in terms of the ability to run games like GTA and others that require a decent PC

This merchandise is good for its cost worth. This item is good for its cost benefit. Regrettably mine came with significant amounts of screen bleed together the bottom so had to return it.

Got this for gaming and for my reports at 6th sort (triple it and item design) and it’s incredible. Really impressive laptop that i have had no difficulties with and it is amazing. While i have experienced to install an further generate for much more storage room and the battery life isn’t wonderful but i always have it plugged in in any case. Excellent little bit of kit and one particular of the ideal worth pieces of equipment i’ve observed on the industry.

This laptop was a great buy. It turned up the next day after. I’ve never had a ‘good’ computer/laptop before and it’s something i really wanted to invest in. This laptop was a great buy. It turned up the next day after order and all works fine. I bought it mainly for the aspect of gaming but i also do a lot of music recording using virtual instrument libraries and this laptop handles it like a charm. I’m sure this laptop can handle just about anything. I would recommend to upgrade the ssd and ram in the future but isn’t required right away. It just gives you a little more breathing space as a 128gb ssd is hardly anything at all. The laptop is a bit of a beast in size but its understandable considering the specs.

Very good gaming laptop great size is a bit heavy when. Very good gaming laptop great size is a bit heavy when you carry it, but that’s what you expect with this size case is mostly plastic feel. But it has a good screen and i think for the price its great.

Finally a product that makes sense. I bought this laptop after comparing with mac book pro and dell (wont even consider asus due to durability issues). I find this laptop has the spec that makes sense e. Ssd + hdd (to make booting faster), ips panel (good colour), light and thin, dedicated gpu, and good keyboard layout. If i need to call out what can be improved, these will be on my list:1. Fan a bit noisy when playing heavy game e. Cod modern warfare (haven’t detected heat issue, fingers crossed)2. Brightness needs to go up a bit3.

It is quite honestly blazing. It’s laptop i’ve been waiting for. I’ll update this review as necessary. Update: for reference purposes my average temperatures are (bear in mind if it’s a warm day they could be a little bit higher):idlecpu: around 45°c, possibly less in some cases. Gpu: 40-45°cunder loadcpu: around 85-90°c (i know this is rather high but it has never throttled. Also, i always use a cool pad and i was able to get it down to 75-80°c, still a little high but a bit more comfortable. Bear in mind this is a laptop and you can’t expect desktop level of cooling, therefore most do run pretty toasty). Gpu: 65-70°cthe fans run quite loud, but given those temperatures they seem to be doing their jobs reasonably well, and i use a headset so i don’t hear them anyway.

Got this for gaming and for my studies at 6th form (triple it and product design) and it’s amazing. Really powerful laptop that i’ve had no issues with and it’s brilliant. Although i have had to install an extra drive for more storage space and the battery life isn’t great but i always have it plugged in anyway. Great bit of kit and one of the best value pieces of gear i’ve seen on the market.

Fantastic laptop with only minor issues. Backgroundbought direct from hp store, but i couldn’t find any reviews for this specific model – the hp 17-w200na with 1080p screen, 8gb ram, gtx 1070, i7-7700hq (128gb ssd and 1tb hdd) – purchased in 2017 with rrp £1,499. 99, in case they release a future omen 17 model. When i looked on youtube or other written review sites for information as part of which laptop to buy, almost every one referred to the 4k screen (which mine is not). Some referred to 16gb ram models and others to the 2015 or 16 models which have varying build quality. Unboxing – 5/5arrived from dpd in a blue packaging bag which contained a standard box for the laptop. Inside was the charger, kettle lead, warranty info/quickstart etc, and the laptop itself. There was enough protective material to give the box some strength without going overkill. The laptop does come precharged (not fully but mid-way). Summary: box is not high profile but gets the job done and you can get going immediately – just how i like it.

Very quick laptop, good vfm. Replaced an a10 5750, many times quicker – ripping dvd down to 4 mins from 20, flipping go pro hd footage 180 degrees takes 20mins down from a clue of hours for a 15 min clip. Only downside i guess is the small storage space although not a concern as most files now stored in cloud and cant change the red keyboard backlight. Gtx1050 graphics good enough for most modern games (the division, fallout4, cities skyline etc. ) in full hd on medium 30-40 fps.

Great laptop for the price – but has some issues. . Can’t understand how this product has no reviews – but i’ll review it myselfi bought this laptop after bieng disappointing with the price to performance ratios i had with an msi laptop and an asus laptop which will now be returned. Priced at 1500, this thing actually beats the performance of my asus. It has a 7700hq (beating the 6700hq of the more expensive asus), 8gb ram and a 1070. It also has a larger screen which is nice, and far superior build quality (explained below)so, for the price, buying this laptop gets you:better performance then competitorsbetter build quality then certain competitors (asus)a bigger screen, as 17 inch laptops with this spec are usually hundreds more expensive. However, the cheap price has some drawbacks (which didn’t bother me), including:keyboard is quite basic – backlights have no brightness setting, there’s no custom hotkeys like on my asus or msi laptopvery basic box – no nice things included like in competitor boxes such as asus’s cable ties or msi’s stickers etc. Not as aggressive looking as other gaming laptops at this price range. Not as much detail as other laptops – design is simple yet i think it looks classier and better then my tacky asus laptop. Unboxingunboxing the laptop i felt was very simple as there’s nothing in the box.
