Rapid and clear laptop with huge screen. Somewhat large and not the most moveable. Commonly even though, pretty amazing.

From the packaging, attractive, but bold, brand on the glossy ‘quick start’ guide inside of the largish box and on the carbon fibre outcome lid / boot display brand and desktop. The lid hinges are very noticeable and substantial but like all elements of the device presents a excellent truly feel to the whole. The red accented chicklet keyboard operates effectively and the led’s can be easily toggled on/off as demanded. There is no actual flex to the keyboard and comprehensive numeric pad is incorporated. It has a good truly feel and has perform keys at the top to save time with various windows capabilities. The trackpad is admittedly not the very finest i have utilised (lenovo thinkpad is pretty unbeatable) but is effortless to get used to, if not working with a separate mouse.

Operates all game titles i have thrown at it so significantly with no problem at all.(game titles: cod 4, bo2, bo3, arma three dayz) also operates packages exceptionally very well. Terrific excellent durable laptop, good keyboard just in general a great selection for mobile gaming.

Merchandise arrived on time, came in individual box so imagine about requesting overcbox.

Gaming laptops have been a factor for numerous many years now. Gaming laptops ordinarily incorporate superior-stop components (compared to standard laptops), and which is a requirement when hoping to operate the most up-to-date graphical and processor intense computer system video games. A lot of personal computer corporations now have gaming variants together facet their ‘normal’ laptops. These usually are not light-weight extremely-moveable products, they are chunkier and heavier and are made to play individuals online games you want. Other issues considered as standard are backlit keyboards, branded audio components and commonly a manly name, like ‘nitro’, ‘predator’, ‘blade’ or ‘ghost pro’ (although this is like those ‘go more quickly stripes’ on your pokey vehicle, would not affect or make improvements to general performance). Hp introduced its primary omen gaming laptop again in november 2014. Again it was built to ‘give players the ultimate gaming experience. ‘ it experienced a ssd boot travel, 2gb or 4gb nvidia gtx 860m mobile gpu, a full slew of ports and a cnc milled aluminium chassis with further fan electricity to hold things amazing (managing high stop games generates a ton of warmth). A couple of many years on and hp has now both 15.

Excellent, but with a few pitfalls. I would like to preface this by saying that i am not a gamer (except for lego harry potter and plants vs zombies), so i am mostly using this laptop for everyday stuff – like surfing the net, excel, word etc. This laptop is amazing – it boots within seconds of it being turned on and is primed and ready to go. Maybe because i am used to older, much slower laptops, but the boot speed, and the speed with which it does everything, really impressed me. The screen is huge and hd, with excellent clarity, which is wonderful when i am building my website (and also playing lego harry potter)i really love the black and red colour scheme, especially on the keys, but my mum has trouble seeing the letters on the keys unless the back light is turned on, so that might be a problem for a few people. It looks very flash with the back light turned on thoughthe only downsides i can think of for this laptop is that it is a little big for me, as i am not using it exclusively to game, although as that is the main purpose of this laptop so i know that for the majority of purchasers it will be the perfect size. It also has no cd drive – i have heard on some reviews that it comes with a separate one you can plug in, but mine did not (this might be because i was sent one for review and did but purchase it), and it does make things a little tricky for me, as i use cds frequently. It has also started freezing recently – i have had it for a few months, but in the last few days it has started to randomly freeze sometimes. This doesn’t cause me many problems as i can just quickly reboot it, but for those who are using this to game, if it freezes mid game it could be catastrophic. When it freezes i usually just had 3 or 4 tabs open in google chrome, so i don’t think it’s because i’m trying to do too many things at once. Like i said, it’s something that doesn’t really effect me, but it might annoy others, and as this is an expensive laptop i thought i should include it in my review. Overall i am thrilled with this laptop.

That’s the reason i bought it and yeah bar the colour correction needed on the screen its working great. First off money to performance ratio this is hard to beat. I bought this from hp direct, 4k screen rather then 1080p aprt from that this is the same as the 1070gtx model listed here. Decent i7, fast m2 ssd and 4k gsync with a 1070gtx. Plus a decent optional 3 year warranty. That’s the reason i bought it and yeah bar the colour correction needed on the screen its working great. So if that’s what your looking for and you can put up with what i note below, please take note of the harddrive upgrade versus warranty issuesthen i can recommend this laptop. But there are several major design and hardware flaws.

After two days of using, here is my impression so far. The laptop is very good for both game and work. The design of the cooling system is much better than the last generation of omen and is very effective with 1070. Both cpu and gpu are very powerful, capale of most games and app in next few years i guess. And the fan is quiet when gaming or running some simulation. And hp support center is very useful. The weight of laptop istself is ok for moving as long as you don’t take it for all day long. There few points could be improved. One is that the arrow keys design of the keyboard is not very useful.

A really good option for students. . I was searching for a powerful laptop to do my work on and i was trying to find one with a dedicated graphic card and this was my choice. Overall looks: it looks great from distance but when you try to use it it just feels a little cheap. 6/10keyboard: the feel is 8. 5/10 but the red backlit is fantastically cool and useful so a 9/10 for the keyboard. Trackpad: the trackpad feels wrong after using a macbook pro for 5 years but after around a week i got used to it and it is actually a really good one. Windows users know how hard it is to find a good trackpad and this is one of the better ones. 8/10performance: fantastic, the best part of this product is the performance. It can play football manager 2017 like a champ and also can manage 3d design and easy to medium video editing pretty fast. You won’t be disappointed with the speed of this computer.

A decent laptop and specification. It’s a sturdy piece of kit with a nice positive keyboard action. Its sound quality is decent for a laptop and it’s very swift – not likely to be lacking speed within quite a few years. It’s light in weight and relatively thin, yet still feels solid and robust. I encountered no problems with windows 10, once i’d got used to it. After an attempted upgrade on another family laptop, i’d recommend going with windows 10 when it’s time to replace your laptop and not before. I liked it as a laptop but was disappointed with a few issues:1. Given a solid state drive (c:) to hold windows and other software, it boots quickly but it’s a shame that it is not sensibly configured to use the large hard drive (d:) for data, downloads, music etc. As a consequence, the ssd will be filled quickly instead of the hdd. Mcafee being supplied for anti-virus as it continually gets a very poor rating. The screen bezel is very wide making the unit larger than it needs to be for the screen size. The red keyboard is very posh but not very easy to read until the backlight is switched on.

Gaming laptops have been a thing for several years now. Gaming laptops usually contain high-end hardware (compared to standard laptops), and that’s a necessity when trying to run the latest graphical and processor intensive computer games. Many computer companies now have gaming variants along side their ‘normal’ laptops. These aren’t lightweight ultra-portable devices, they are chunkier and heavier and are designed to play those games you want. Other things deemed as standard are backlit keyboards, branded audio hardware and usually a manly name, like “nitro”, “predator”, “blade” or “ghost pro” (though this is like those “go faster stripes” on your pokey car, doesn’t affect or improve performance). Hp launched its original omen gaming laptop back in november 2014. Again it was designed to “give gamers the ultimate gaming experience. ” it had a ssd boot drive, 2gb or 4gb nvidia gtx 860m mobile gpu, a whole slew of ports and a cnc milled aluminium chassis with extra fan power to keep things cool (running high end games generates a lot of heat). A couple of years on and hp has now both 15.
