Superb machine – but not for everyday coffee drinkers. I feel to critique this merchandise you have to do it within the context of it staying around £500 so will attraction to only quite handful of coffee drinkers. It is a definitely produced piece of italian components and operates with reassuring noises that affirm this is a quality products. There are no corners slash in its structure and make excellent. If you might be a severe coffee drinker this is a wonderful machine it will make a lot of forms of coffee from espressos to lattes rapidly and easily and whilst the final style is down to the quality of the beans it will carry out the very best of regardless of what you use. It is a phase change to anybody who has drunk prompt and is a considerably top-quality option to those people awful coffee peculators that look to specialise in only developing stewed drinks. All that flavor comes with two caveats it truly is a massively pricey machine that takes up very a whole lot of place that could possibly be overkill for several coffee drinkers. The next difficulty is that it’s built for great coffee, not comfort: it can be pretty a demanding machine constantly reminding you that the drinking water tank demands filling or the grounds container requirements emptying, it needs much more beans or descaling. As you’d anticipate with any machine that grinds its have beans it is just not constantly tranquil which may be an concern for an early early morning brew when many others are asleep. All in all an impressive machine that won’t disappoint but i could truthfully only suggest it for really serious coffee enthusiasts as it usually takes up room and can take treatment to use and seem following.

Outstanding machine – just just take your time to get to know it – and what it does. . So – i have only experienced this for 3 times – but so considerably – i must say i am definitely amazed. This machine can make lovely coffee. I did a ton of analysis just before buying a machine – to have automated milk foamer or not, what’s the temperature of the coffee etc. And when i could not find the money for any of the actual higher conclusion equipment – i plumped for this one – which is just really over entry level. So when you get this machine – it is a little bit overwhelming – even for a techno gadget geek like me – the recommendations are ‘ok’ but not terrific. Also – it arrives with european plug – so i experienced to nip down to tesco and get an adaptor for european website visitors to the uk – a bit dissatisfied that amazon failed to say that – or i picked up. It is quite straight forward as soon as you get everything set up, and i suppose i am even now at the screening out phase. So significantly – i have manufactured all lengths of coffee and different strengths and tried using a cappuccino – which i was most amazed with (see the pic)i’ve established the water hardness and put in the h2o filter – you get 1 in the box and you get 1 large amount of descale to get you heading much too. The milk brother will work very well and requires no time to head the thicken the milk up i as quite impressed.

Suits properly in my kitchen area really like the coffee it can make truly worth the dollars.

De’Longhi Eletta Bean to Cup Coffee Machine ECAM44.620, 1450 W : Have been using this for almost six months now and so i feel like i can give a solid review. I usually only have espressos, unless i accidentally buy some rubbish beans in which case it’s the long brew topped up with hot water. With a bit of fiddling around with the grind size, you can get consistently very good espresso. Not as good as an espresso from your local independent coffee shop barista but better than the muck you’ll get from the big 3. It is loud, although not as loud as some i’ve heard. You can set a timer so it comes on and is warmed up in time for your morning coffee, you can adjust the water temperature, adjust the grind and install a water filter. The milk frother is easy to use and makes a great cappuccino and/or latte.

Good coffee but (so far) a little slow. I like the coffee (so far used beans), the temperature, strength and cup quantity of which you can vary. For those who like really hot coffee – i do – this machine can provide it. While the process is entirely automated, you do have to wait a bit longer than, perhaps, you expect: a ‘long’ (ie, full standard) cup of black taking perhaps two mins, as the machine rinses itself, heats the water, then slowly decants the coffee, pausing halfway through to grind more beans for the ‘long’ cup (it may be that i need to fiddle to get a faster decant. Marked down by one star for being slower than expected. Also, i’m not sure i’d pay £300-£400+ for something that, yes, makes good coffee, but probably isn’t much easier than grinding beans yourself for an espresso machine.

Easy to maintain and performs as good as the day. Now had for several months and made over 1400 ( yes, there is an internal counter ) coffees with no deterioration in quality of brew. Easy to maintain and performs as good as the day i bought it. Little update as of sept 2017 – still going strong with the count well into the 2300’s. Sent to official delonghi service centre for a full service where they replaced the steam wand and the infuser as part of the service which was a bargain at £50 including collection and delivery back home. Brilliant machine and excellent customer service from the company.

Extremely glad i purchased this machine. There are so many on the market and so many models i was at a loss. I therefore went with reviews and was not disappointed. My favourite aspect is the complete ease of use and the well designed features which slide in and out with ease (grounds container and tank)coffee is excellent overall the only downside being that even on the hottest setting black coffee is not over warm. I remedy this by ensuring the milk i use is really hot but no use for espresso.

Very pleased with the machine. It took a day or two to understand all of its functions and set it up for the perfect cup of coffee. It is consistent and i am now trying out different coffees to see how the different flavours work in this machine. I have placed my grinder and previous coffee maker into storage. Having everything in one machine is very useful. My only minor criticism is the amount of space it takes up.

Excellent machine – but not for casual coffee drinkers. I think to review this item you have to do it within the context of it being around £500 so will appeal to only very few coffee drinkers. It is a really made piece of italian hardware and operates with reassuring noises that confirm this is a premium product. There are no corners cut in its design and build quality. If you’re a serious coffee drinker this is a great machine; it will make many types of coffee from espressos to lattes quickly and easily and although the final taste is down to the quality of the beans it will bring out the best of whatever you use. It is a step change to anyone who has drunk instant and is a far superior choice to those horrible coffee peculators that seem to specialise in only producing stewed beverages. All that taste comes with two caveats; it’s a hugely expensive machine that takes up quite a lot of space that might be overkill for many coffee drinkers. The second issue is that it’s made for good coffee, not convenience: it’s quite a demanding machine always reminding you that the water tank needs filling or the grounds container needs emptying, it needs more beans or descaling. As you’d expect with any machine that grinds its own beans it isn’t always quiet which might be an issue for an early morning brew when others are asleep. All in all an impressive machine that doesn’t disappoint but i could honestly only recommend it for serious coffee enthusiasts as it takes up space and takes care to use and look after.

A really great cup of coffee. The first, and most important, thing to say about this machine is that it makes really great coffee. The quality of the drink, is, of course, dependent on the beans you use. We use esotico from the algerian coffee shop in soho. The machine notionally will work with either beans or ground coffee, but ground coffee is not really an option for continuous use, as you have to refill the ground coffee input container with each cup. It is, however, useful for, say, making the odd cup of decaffeinated coffee if you have a guest with that predilection. The usefulness of the machine is enhanced by the several controls – it is really easy to change both strength and temperature for each cup. The machine is basically simple to use, but has some tricky features. We have still not been able to get the feature that determines how much is in a “long coffee” to work. This is not aided by the quality of the documentation, which is, frankly, abysmal for a domestic machine costing £500+.

I am a lover of good coffee. I have tried a number of coffee machines from basic filter coffee machines to pod coffee machine and never been fully happy. This machine however is a dream the coffe it produces is fully up to coffee shop standards, and while the mchine is very expensive to buy it is cheaper to run than pod machines once you have it. I just wish i had gotten this sooner. Care must be taken to keep the milk steamer clean and hygenic.
