Excellent hardware, poor service. As a laptop it is really good. I us some very complex images in coreldraw and moving them around takes a lot of processing power, this machine handles it without a problem. The lack of customer service is a worry. The phone number given in the vendor details does not work and they don’t answer emails. While i am pleased with the machine i would not use the seller again.

Generally quiet and doesn’t overheat. Major issues with sound and wifi resolved by first update.

Ultrabook with enough solid state drive space. The hardware is pretty good although i’m not interested in the touch screen. I can use it as my only pc (as it has 512gb ssd) as long as i have a monitor for home use. It’s small enough and light enough to replace the need for a travel laptop (which was an 11′ macbook air). 1 is pretty irritating so i use ‘classic shell’ to give me a windows 7 interface. Here are the specifications for the Dell XPS 13 13:

If you have to run windows, and need to travel; this is the one. . My configuration: i5 6200u/ 8gb ram / 256gb storage / intel hd 520 / windows 10. [2 month update at bottomfantastic bit of kit. I buy it equipment for the company that i work for; this is an excellent laptop in terms of performance, build quality and design. Have not had much experience with dell support, but i hear they are pretty good in this respect. I grew up on apple, and use mac/windows/chrome os for my work. They all have their pros and cons, and whilst i ultimately prefer mac, this is an excellent laptop to run windows. Windows 10 is headed in the right direction, and vastly better than windows 8. Reviews from purchasers :

  • The screen is awesome, nothing else like it on the market right
  • Impressive laptop offering excellent value for money.

The screen is awesome, nothing else like it on the market right. The screen is awesome, nothing else like it on the market right now. Fit and finish generally great, very slightly misaligned plastic/aluminium around the back but gets covered by the drop hinge when open. Otherwise feels really solid and yet lightweight. This is actually the size of an 11. The bezel makes the laptop look huge in photographs, but in person, it’s very portable and much easier to carry around than my macbook air, thinkpad s440 or acer aspire one cloudbook 14 were. I’d equate it to the eee 701 in terms of burden. Speakers loud, if not crystal clear. Touchpad is great, very responsive.

I don’t even have a single tiny complaint. It is so small, lightweight and compact and yet it packs some serious power. It is not meant for heavy gaming or graphics renderin but light gaming is no problem. I mostly use it for photo-editing and web design which the screen resolution is perfect for. I also use it to take notes, send emails and browse the web – it handles it all without a problem. The ssd contributes to an incredibly fast boot which means that no matter if you just flip the screen down or actually turn the computer all the way off, it will be ready for use again about five seconds after turning it on. I would definitely recommend this laptop.

Impressive laptop offering excellent value for money. . On receipt the battery charged but would not power the laptop when it was disconnected from the mains. Returned to the supplier a new battery was installed and since then the laptop has given every satisfaction. Of pleasing appearance and well constructed this laptop is highly portable because of its compact size and light weight. Purchased on the basis of an enthusiastic review in ‘which?’. I would endorse the magazine’s favourable assessment and warmly recommend this laptop to anyone contemplating the purchase of a machine in this price range. I doubt there is any laptop on the market offering better value for money.

11/10 this is the best laptop on the market. . This is the only laptop which will give a macbook a run for it’s money. Matching the performance, in my eyes this laptop is slightly nicer to look at and very well designed. The infinity edge display is a magnificent feature. I toyed for nearly a year before committing to spend the money but i am very happy with my choice. I have not noticed any lack of computing power and i believe using this for work or university, it is more than capable. Absolutely incredible laptop. I hate how much advertising you see for apple and everything on t. V features macbooks its great to finally have an alternative which can match and in my eyes have more to offer. No regrets with this purchase.

The keyboard keys are very good and the track pad smooth. If you are really looking for a light, beautiful and well build laptop i recommend this one.

I normally feel the need to add at least some form of word play to a review title to show how i feel about a product, but i didn’t feel the need this time. I’m a desktop guy and have been for a long time, until about 2 years ago when my custom-build died on me. I really wanted to be able to sit on the sofa and browse the net, or take my productivity portal with me on a visit to a coffee shop – something that i guess is technically possible with a desktop, but not exactly practical. So, i eventually settled on a gigabyte p34g v2. It had the right looks; plain, not covered in garish leds and colours, and was slim and relatively light considering the hardware packed inside. Anyway to cut a long intro short, i now have another custom build as my main gaming/home machine and the gigabyte was delegated to work use. The problem with this is that i bought it for gaming with the intention of never being too far away from a power socket, and not carrying it with me 5 days of the week. A battery life of 2-3 hours becomes irritating after, well, 2-3 hours.

HP Pavilion x360 13-a001na 13 : Pavillion x360 13.3 in convertible notebook: Great idea, but the unit needs a little more ooomph.

Good strategy but a bit too pricey. I was actually on the lookout ahead to using this notebook, non pill. Out of the box i was amazed with the high quality feel of the hp and in particular considered the hunge design and style was really well excuited, all in …
