Coffee stays hot, easy to use, very reliable and worth every penny. You can always depend on cuisinart to do what it says on the box.

I like that you can turn off the grinder when needed. I like that you can turn off the grinder when needed. The pot holds the temp for quite a few hours. It’s very convenient when you have guests and want to take the coffee pot to the table for breakfast.

  • its fine. The delayed timer works well
  • Makes great coffee. Love the insulated caraffe. Well designed. Slightly quirky design
  • Great when you have friends in or a big family

A great replacement for my previous cuisinart grind and brew. A great replacement for my previous cuisinart grind and brew. Very reluctantly i came to the conclusion that my12 year old machine had to go – it had begun to leak. The grinder is much quieter than its predecessor. All together a worthy successor.

I have had the cuisinart coffee machine for a couple of months which i thought was suitable usage time before writing a review. My husband and i love proper filter coffee (we dislike the gimmick pod or processed coffee machines) and have had quite a few coffee machines over the years, so we are quite critcal about them. I principally wanted this machine because it has a grinder built in, and also because it has the steel thermos jug – we have broken quite a few glass jugs on our kitchen tile floori am extremely happy with this machine. We use it at least daily, especially on the timer function for the morning. In fact, we only ever use it now with proper coffee beans which we ordered in bulk. The grinder is amazingly efficient. My husband, who is an engineer by trade, is quite impressed by it’s design. The steel jug is a sturdy design, and the whole coffee machine is a nice design. You do have to clean the grinder out after use, which some people might consider a chore, but the whole unit is easy to remove and clean.

The delayed timer works well. Keeps coffee warm for hours. Takes awhile to get to know how many beans to put in for preferred strength – as at first the coffee was quite weak. Once you get the hang of it, its fine. The delayed timer works well, providing coffee as soon as you get out of bed. Great coffee but a bit fiddly. . Bought this after my russell hobbs one kicked the bucket big style, pouring coffee all over my kitchen. In many ways this is inconvenient. Lots of fiddly bits to clean, you need to load the correct amount of coffee beans each time (why couldn’t they just have a hopper and use the right amount?). Also, they’ve cheaped out and used a blade grinder rather than a burr – and the blade seems to continue for a minute after all the beans have been ground. But – the result is fantastic. The brew is excellent, flavourful – clean but strong. Most drip machines have a habit of making a mildly warm brew (i left the pot on the warming plate for 5 minutes with my russell hobbs to warm it up), but this is almost boiling. The thermos keeps it hot for hours, and the filter is well matched to the grinder, meaning you don’t get a sludge of grounds in the bottom of each cup.

Love it, if it breaks we will buy another. Love it, if it breaks we will buy another. Great quality has been going strong 6 years now.We use filtered water so no build up of hard water, but still run through white vinegar every so often to keep the great coffee coming.

Great when you have friends in or a big family. My machine is a dgb600bcu model, a previous one, however it works exactly the same. I have been using stove percolators for years, and they are ideal for 1-2 people, but quite awkward when you have some visitors and need more mugs of coffee at once. I was looking at this machine and the other ones, read hundreds of reviews and still could not decide. Luckily, there happened to be one in my local charity shop for £10, so decided to give it a go. My opinion:- after warming the carafe with boiling water prior to brewing the coffee, the drink is hot, however not as the piping hot coffee from the percolator. However, i must admit the coffee is hotter than from some much more expensive machines ( my friends own a huge machine, grinding, frothing, and they have to put the coffee to the microwave when it’s done otherwise it comes out lukewarm)- there is no way coffee is hot for hours. I had a warm coffee after 2 hours, but cold coffee after 4 hours being in the carafe (and the carafe was warmed up with boiling water prior to use)- it is great for a party of people when you make the full carafe, however if you make 1 coffee you need to take the lid off and tip the jug upside down to get the liquid out- the coffee tastes ok, but again if you are used to percolators like me, the taste is not as aromatic, especially after going through all the plasticky bits. Also i do drink drip coffee from different machines and this brew is not the best in comparisonoverall, the machine is handy as the size is quite compact and fits even in our small kitchen, however i wouldn’t spent over £100 for it. Its the best when i have friends in and brew a jug of coffee at once as it’s much hotter than brewing just a little in such a big carafe.

It works well and does not produce an aweful plastic taste like a previous other make did.

Good machine but not perfect. . Neat machine, takes up less space than our previous one. The thermal jug is very good, but needs to be pre-heated to make hot coffee. The option to use beans or group coffee is a bonus. The only drawback is that there are about half a dozen little components that need cleaning every time it is used; i may have chosen a different product if i had realised.

6 years on. A good machine at a decent price. . I’ve had my machine for 6 years now and it’s still serving me well. With fresh beans it makes great coffee. Some reviews have complained about the coffee not being hot enough. I’ve only found this as an issue if i’ve just washed the thermos jug out with cold water before i put the machine on – obviously it takes the heat out the coffee. Simple fix is to warm the jug by rinsing it with hot tap water. . Result is piping hot coffee without having to faff with warming milk. Only reason i have not given this 5 stars is because you do have to clean out the grinder and filter after each use. Doesn’t actually take that long but i believe the next machine up in the range resolves that if it is an issue for you. I recently bought a £400 pod machine.

I have finally given up on this machine. Too many times has the machine overflowed during the brewing process, causing hot coffee and grounds to run out all over the worktop. The filter is too small, so you can’t brew a full jug of strong coffee, you have to fill the jug 2/3rds full with a full 10 scoops of coffee in the filter. Put any more than 10 scoops in the filter and it overflows. Brewing using the grinder function is deafening. It works but cleaning the machine afterwards is a lengthy task. Going back to a simple filter coffee maker with replaceable filters.

This is my second cuisinart coffee machine. Love that it does not stew the coffee, and that the pot is just about indestructible, in a house where there are so many people using it, its invaluable. Hope they never stop making it.

Very happy with this item, very easy to use and produces good coffee in good time. I don’t find it bothersome to clean at all after each use. For a ‘bean to cup’ machine, it is hard to beat at the price.
