This is a brilliant kitchen tool. Great for small jobs with that added bonus of being electric free so good also for outdoors (bbqs, camping etc. ) this is a powerful little tool, easy to use and clean.

Good quality does what it says o the tin. . Is well built, looks resistant and is sharp enough to slice and chop. The only reason why does not have 5 stars is the price.

  • Great tool, but should have retained some older features
  • This has to be the best kitchn gagdet I have bought in a long time.
  • Great little chopper – a simple ‘hack’ is required to properly clean it though

I was afraid everything would turn mushy, but no, pull the handle a couple of times if you want big chunks, do it more times and it gets smaller and smaller. If you do it enough times you can get great smooth puree food. It’s big enough for most of the times i use it, but sometimes i wish there was another version, a bigger one, i would definitely buy it as wellhighly recommended.

Great tool, but should have retained some older features. I bought this after my first one (i had for nearly 10yrs) broke when it fell off the counter. I use it at least once a week to make quick work of everything from chopping vegetables, making salsa with all ingredients in at the same time, and even small patches of cookies to make crumbs for baking crusts. This, for all intents and purposes, does just a good a job as the previous one. But there are some niggles about the new design that stop it from being a 5 star item like my older version:- slightly diminished capacity compared to the previous one- the inside of the top is concave instead of flat which makes it harder to scrape off the bits of food that get stuck to it- the blades no longer move independently. This is my biggest bugbear as having them permanently stuck in place when not in use makes them both harder to clean and manoeuvre inside the bowl to fit in awkwardly sized pieces of veg. All in all it’s still one of the handiest gadgets i have in the kitchen.

Merkmal der Chef’n VeggiChop, White / Green

  • Create the perfect salsa, pesto or guacamole in minutes
  • Ideal for chopping onions, carrots, parsnips, nuts and even ice
  • No electricity required – easy to use hand-powered food chopper
  • 3 sharp, stainless steel blades allow efficient and effective chopping
  • Includes handy storage lid – ideal for keeping chopped food fresh
  • Sturdy non-slip base to prevent movement when chopping
  • Easy to clean – top rack dishwasher safe

My wife says that if it breaks she won’t cook any more. I’m getting one each for my daughters. Can they make a bigger one?.

Excellent product, i have used it today and it. Excellent product, i have used it today and it chopped very well to the right consistency. I would highly recommend this gadget ad i will probably order another for multiple chopping. Besten Chef’n VeggiChop, White / Green Bewertungen

Had been for couple of days now. Chopping herbs, green leafy vegetables. Onions, carrots, beans is super fun and finishes in a blink of an eye. I was sceptical as its mechanical than the commonly used electrical ones. I wish there was a size bigger to finish big volumes in a jiffy. Cleaning of lid is a bit tricky as string cannot be made wet. So don’t get too greedy clearing veggie pieces off them.

Does a good job if you want very small pieces. Be careful of the blade as it’s really sharp, as i found out when i cut my finger inserting it. Does a good job if you want very small pieces.

I live on a narrowboat and electricity is not as easy as in a house so this is just perfect. It has made chopping onions and other veg a pleasure. Works really really well and is much better than i thought it would be. Made some lovely guacamole easily. Whizzed up my grandsons food too. Only slight thing is cleaning the lid which must not be emerged but i swish water round the edges and use a sponge which seems to work well.

Excellent, just needs to be bigger. Excellent except it should be bigger. He lid doesnt close completely tiht therefore if its a watery substance and its filled up over half capacity, the water starts gushing out of the lid, not just a little bit but enough that it spills on clothes and makes a mess. But its excellent otherwise, the rorational kind of generator string design is the way to go, makes good smoothies, frozen berries etc easy to chop and make into mush.

Great little chopper – a simple ‘hack’ is required to properly clean it though. Handy chopper for doing onions and other veggies. Gives you fine control over the end result chunkiness unlike electric processors, which would ruin a salsa or guacamole. Fun to use too – just watch out for the sharp bladesthe only ‘problem’ is the lid unit cannot be immersed in water to be washed. The string goes all soggy and eventually breaks, and you get all kinds of food bits trapped inside. (i bought another so i have two choppers, but only one working lid pulley). If you insert a teaspoon handle into the slot on the underside, you can easily separate the two halves for easy cleaning of the part of the lid that touches the food, while leaving the top part with the handle, spring and string out of the sink. Why they don’t make this part of the recommended usage instructions is beyond me.
