Great – when you get a good one. . I ordered 1 if these and it worked great, i then ordered 2 more but unfortunately neither worked properly and would stay permanently on. Fitting the capacitors made no difference. I returned them and ordered a replacement from the same seller and one from a different seller, this time both seem to be working ok. So basically if you get a good one they are great but be prepared to send them back till you get a good one. I have mine linked to amazon echo via a broadlink rm pro plugin and it works a treat. If you want to know how to get them working with echo check out the great videos on youtube from a guy called paul hibbert.

Fantasticwell i thought they were. Fantastic, love this product i have installed 5 switches in my house this week and i will be replacing more. Great changed my 5 stars now to 3. I fitted 7 of these switches and were great so i bought another 5 and all these were faulty. Worked ok for a day then the lights switch themselves on and off all the time so i am now very worried about the other 7 i have fitted. Please be careful about buying these switches. If the 7 i have already fitted keep working ok, then these are great switches but if they start to go faulty i have wasted a lot of money .

One of the best gadgets i’ve ever bought. One of the best gadgets i’ve ever bought. Had a noisy light switch on the bathroom, that at night disturbed others in the house. This is a great touch/swipe light switch. Super easy to fit and a joy to use. Replaced the old one in seconds and its a revelation, it evens has a small glowing line arounf the inner switch area so in the pitch black you can see the switch.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • A smart option for a smart switch.

Could have better intergration or a more open api. Great product although still cant get it integrated properly into my setup. You cant learn the codes as simply as other rf devices. There are workarounds but not simple at the minute.

A smart option for a smart switch. . If you’re wanting to upgrade to smart switches you don’t need to look any further than the broadlink tc2. They look the part in any room and are very responsive. I have mine linked up with the broadlink rm pro and have the option to either touch the switch, use the mobile app on my phone or tablet or with the help of the rm plugin app, webhooks and ifttt i can use my alexa or google home to turn the lights on by voice. My brother has lightwaverf throughout his house and he says that unless you need to have the option to dim your lights and have a nicer looking app, these are just as good if not slightly quicker to respond. On a negative note, like with most smart switches, they are on the deep side so won’t fit flush in a 25mm metal back box. I don’t know what they would be like in a plastic box without the earth point but what i have found best in my house is to flip the metal back box over so the earth point is up top, pop out a cut out section so i can push and excess cabling out the side into the wall cavity and then carefully slot and screw the switch into place. I then have about a 2mm gap between the wall and switch that i close off by running some white silicone around it and smoothing it all off nice and neatly. You could buy an antiference 10mm spacer, and i have, but i think that makes everything stick out too far.

The base unit to light switch is extremely easy to setup. I installed the light switch and configured the base station within a few minutes uing the android app. I then installed the broadlink plugin on an android tablet and within an hour used the amazon echo dot to voice control my lights. The base unit to light switch is extremely easy to setup. I’ve also linked the base unit to the mercury remote control switches and switch on/off my monitors via the ir link option.

GLSTouch Smart RF : Stylish, practical and works perfectly

A good switch with poor wiring instructions. Event the remote seems of reasonable construction. Only problem i found was that the wiring instructions seemed to me to be a bit confusing, but perhaps i was overthinking it – essentially you just pass the live through both connectors. How did i …

Wisqo Smart Lighting : Best solution available.

Pretty good with comparison to its price. Update after another 4 weeks: quite stable wireless control so update to 4 star.  for it’s price i got-£12.   i can control the light wirelessly by the switch, and the switch does not require battery. Also, control it on my mobile phone.   pros-*stable …

Fibaro FGD-212 250 W Universal Dimmer : the module auto configured for both and I am happy with the units

Great smart home tech which integrates well with smartthings. Great dimmer that is easy to install and very customisable. I link mine with smartthings and it works really smoothly (though needs a custom device handler). I have installed 6 and one was faulty so was a bit frustrating while working …
