This arrived quickly in rather a large box. Once the packaging removed i was left with a professional good looking product. It appears well made of high quality materials. The intake is quite large so you do not have to chop things up much or at all to place them in. And once in and you set it too work it squeezes them very well, producing a good deal of liquid from the items. It flows into the glass well without spillage and leaves you with a healthy refreshing juice.
I actually had a day off this saturday and this juicer was delivered before i’d even got home. We were intending to have a barbecue and i decided to do some fresh juices to go with all the booze (trying to get a little bit healthy) we threw everything at this juicer, from fresh beetroot to strawberries and it just kept on going. The intake hopper is a good size so fruits and vegetables didn’t need to be chopped up small, we just popped stuff in and beautiful fresh juice came out the other end (i can recommend vodka and beetroot juice, yum)it turns i should have looked at the box, whet i was sent from vine was the j500 juicer not the j300, all my comments about the juicer stand though.

Braun J300 Spin Juicer, 800 Watt, Premium Black : Although i was expecting the j300 juicer, this review is actually for the j500 which i received instead. First impressions of the juicer were very good – it’s an attractive looking machine – although it was larger than we were expecting. Assembly was straightforward and we were soon juicing away. The anti-drip spout is very clever and useful, although the anti-foam filter doesn’t really seem to be all that effectivethe juicer comes with a double-ended brush to help clean out the pulp from all those annoying little nooks and crannies and, thanks to the ease with which you can disassemble and reassemble the machine, tidying up after use is pretty straightforward. The only real problem is the instruction booklet – there are no recipes in there at all. Checking braun’s website does bring up a range of recipes, but the major issue there is that the ones specifically for this range of juicers include fruit and vegetables that the booklet says should not be used with the machine. (we weren’t prepared to risk it)fortunately, there are lots of recipes out there and we’ve had fun drinking fresh juice mixes that don’t have any added sugar or artificial flavourings and preservatives.
