Bowers & Wilkins P7 Over Ear Headphones : Great sound quality

Very impressed better than bose q35 and very loud and crisp.

Pure class and substance over fashion. Pure class and luxurious deal with oneself and no wires to split (innumerable periods i’ve finished this over the many years as cack handed) probably not the leading major wi-fi a single out there but pretty nicely created and for me suitably dynamic assortment throughout a wide assortment of musical genres.

Very impressed better than bose q35 and very loud and crisp.

“State-Of-The-Art Bluetooth Headphones. Absolutely Superlative!, Pure class and substance over style, Big in size bigger in sound”

Probably a little costly but paired with my oppo ha-2 amp/dac they appears really wonderful.

Great clarity and natural bass. After searching for some time for a decent set of headphones for listening to classical music i came across these, which thankfully avoid the seemingly all too common pitfalls of others: too heavy bass and harsh middle range. That they do not have noise cancelling is also a plus, for my purposes i do not need it, so why pay extra for it along with suffering the potential loss in sound quality?these bowers & wilkins are well made, quality headphones, they are very comfortable to wear even for long periods, have a good battery life, and most importantly sound good. The bass is natural and has great clarity, the treble is subtitle, and the mid range generally good. They excel with wind and percussion, the organ sounds superb bringing out details in some passages i had previously missed. The strings are okay, although if they have a weakness it is with massed violins, which could be more mellow. The wireless range is good, i can move to another room, or from indoors to outdoors without losing the connection. The cable for wired connection has a neat plug-in system which hides behind the ear pad. The on/off switch is a little fiddly, i would have preferred something larger and more positive in operation, i’m never sure whether i’ve switched them off or not, but the other controls are easy to use and intuitive. Overall i’m very pleased with these.

Frankly impressed at the good quality of the sound these factors make. I agonized for several hours over these or the beoplay h9’s and i’m so delighted i went with the p7’s. They are a lot of dollars for a relaxed listener, but they appear like they’ll final. Only downside is i want to re-hear to the total radiohead back again cat now as you can find ‘bits’ i missed that are now very clear .

Seriously good value for seriously good money. I’ve had these for about three months now and i’m delighted with them. They’re very comfortable and the performance is second to none. Also, the battery life is very good which is a massive bonus for a commuter. I’ve been a bose man my whole life but tried my friend’s pair of these and was amazed instantly. Before anyone says anything, i’ve also tried the latest b&o, beats & bose qc offerings and i’m still equally amazed every time i put these bowers & wilkins on. These have overtaken bose without question and don’t be put off by the fact these are not actively noise cancelling. The sound quality and depth is so good along with the very adaptive memory foam around the ears that you won’t even notice. Would highly recommend these to anyone that commutes to work on public transport or even just likes listening to music in high quality. Only criticism is that the case they come with is slightly over the top but that’s a small price to pay.

Only one slight complaint – they do feel quite heavy on the head but maybe that’s in comparison to my previous (bose qc25) headphones. Hopefully i’ll get used to them.

Pure class and substance over style. Pure class and luxury treat yourself and no wires to break (countless times i’ve done this over the years as cack handed) maybe not the top top wireless one out there but very well made and for me suitably dynamic range across a wide variety of musical genres.

Good, but slightly too much bass. . These cans are definitely good, no question of that. There’s also no question that they are most definitely heavy on the bass side. Mids and treble are both accurate, but there is a little too much bass for the “perfect” sound as advertised. My search for accurate bluetooth headphones shall continue, however, these cans will suffice in the meantime.

Much too tight on the head, but perfect sound and microphone. I mainly use headphones for telephoning, skype and whatsapp. As to connectivity to the phone and working with the above they are perfect. The quality of me hearing my opponent and for myself to be heard clearly they are the best i have found. They hold so strong against my head that they hurt. As i do wear headphones for a very long time, they are unfortunately unappropriate for me. Which is a great shame as i cannot find any. I have already tested sennheiser momentum wireless over ear and bose qc35.

Absolutely fabulous headphones. I reviewed so many different wireless / bluetooth headphones on amazon’s store ~ thinking that noise cancelling headphones would be just right. But then it came to me ~ it’s sound quality that really matters most to me. And i already had the answer ~ owning a pair of b & w’s older wired p5’s ~ why don’t i see if they make a wireless headset. So, without further dilly dallying i purchased these direct from b & w ~ and what a great build they are ~ they must be up there with the best at this price ~ i had no problem pairing these with my iphone 7, ipod and three kindle fire tablets (7, 8 & 10inch). ~ who needs noise cancelling headphones unless you’re sitting next to a jet engine.

Really well made outside and inside. Pretty heavy for headphones box, but it can also tell a little about company that they even care about that. I don’t think that i’m audiophile although one of my hobbies is collecting headphones ^^’. Before buying b&w p7 i was looking for few days just to find something wireless for outside use as change to my sm e50c (still works but as all ie they don’t have big stage which after few hours makes me tired). So i was looking for something in price range to 150£ and somehow i ended with b&w p7. Wireless, they play really good, for me just a little too much bass. Maybe it’s make like this too make them more comfortable when you are outside. Wired, you can hear difference between bt and wired use, it’s not because they play bad when wireless it’s just that bt have to cut some sound quality. They have really nice sound stage for closed headphones, and play clear, but more for fun than analytical and once again just a little too much of bass for me. With use of spotify or any other lossy format of music they will not show you everything but with flac you will quickly learn for what you paid.

Detailed sound with good stereo imaging when properly equalised. When the supplied wire is used to listen to music the p7’s are accurate and well balanced across all the sound frequencies to my ears. However,in my opinion, the bass is a bit bloated when listening via the bluetooth connection and invades the midrange. This tuning difference between the wired and bluetooth connections may be deliberate, boosting the bass for outdoor bluetooth use because of louder ambient noise when outdoors. B and w would know more than me. I prefer a well balanced, neutral sound without any of the frequencies being artificially boosted from the original studio sound created. The website for reviewing and measuring headphones i visit is innerfidelity. At this site there is a measurements page (via the resources tab) that allows users to view audio frequency response and other relevant measurements regarding headphones that have been tested. The b and w wireless p7 measurements can be viewed from the list provided. It can be seen the deeper and mid bass has been factory boosted by about 3db according to the audio analayzer graphs provided, regarding the bluetooth wireless connection.

Amazing headphones you will not regret buying. . Their b&w wireless headphones with none of this rubbish noise cancelation that leaves a humming background noise. If you have experienced b&w equipment before then you know what i mean they are top of the line quality in all areas. These are by far the best and most comfortable headphones i have ever had. The sound quality makes the beats studio wireless seem like a couple of tin cans they are just outstanding. With the option to use these as a passive set of headphones if the battery dies is a winner as its not always that you have the chance to recharge on long journeys.

I wouldn’t trade them in for anything but they do. I wouldn’t trade them in for anything but they do hurt the top of my head after long use.
