Headphones & Earphones

Excellent sound and comfort a excellent product.

I have hardly ever seriously bothered with leading close headphones prior to, as i’m not massively into songs – never get me wrong, i like tunes, and i enjoy listening to it, and going to gigs, but it’s not a enthusiasm, and cheapish earbuds have been enough. Having said that, these headphones have opened my ears to a whole new worldfirstly, just hunting at and touching these headphones is a sensual address – smooth lines, easy engineering, butter gentle leather-based earpiece handles. Then the genuine joy arrives in listening by means of them. You can find immediacy, warmth, depth, fidelity – the artist could be sat subsequent to me for acoustic people/rock. For heavier things, the bass response is not mind blowing and mind-boggling, but nicely balanced and neutral. Presented that these headphones fold neatly and pack away into their have attractive carrying scenario, these will be travelling with me permanently, building my little little bit of the globe a greater area.

Charming sound from these snug headphones. A seriously good, snug and fab sounding set of headphones. The telephones are responsive, with impressive treble and midrange, and a fantastic bass response – but not extremely powerful, but in depth and accurate. They make a normal seem and are relaxed to use even for extended listening. Supplied with a caarrying case that is a tricky shell the deal is built to last a although. 5mm headphone plug these phones are appropriate with most current media players and phones – assuming they have a headphone socket. 2m extended which is lengthy enough to get to your head from a trouser pocket. These bower & wilkins telephones are extremely proposed. Here are the specifications for the Bowers & Wilkins P3 Series 2 On-Ear Headphone:

  • Frequency range 10Hz to 20kHz
  • Heat sensitive memory foam pads

Good audio, regrettable style and design. . Although the seem and establish high-quality are fantastic, this model has two main flaws. It gets awkward to put on just after about 40 minutes, so it is not so excellent for watching movies. Whilst reasonably modest in size, the scenario it arrives with is pretty bulky and it is not quick to stow the headphones back again in the scenario right after use. In point the greater and a lot more relaxed p5 design folds up into a additional compact tender situation, which is a lot easier to place into a compact briefcase. The p5 is nearly double the value but significantly much more functional.

Hurts your ears soon after a even though. I absolutely really like the sound, the situation, the body weight, the clarity. On the other hand they are soooo uncomfortable on the ears. I have a little head and even with me it feels like it really is clamping my head following 30mins.

Fashionable, closed again, headphones that pack quite a punch. . I should say that i’ve been equally a ‘lover’ and a ‘hater’ (though ‘hate’ is significantly too solid a term) of bowers and wilkins (b&w) package for several decades. I’ve had fantastic ordeals with their classic speaker line (dm602s and onwards), but far more disappointing results with their early zeppelin dock. So, i’ve tried to maintain a very open up mind when attempting these p3 headphones. They are properly packaged, well offered and every thing has a high quality really feel. You will find a certainly solidity to every little thing (and a comforting deficiency of ‘plastic’ on the surfaces). I straight away like the ear-pads which are now leather-based (the very same product as the far more expensive p5’s). The leather-based is supple, beautifully fitted and feels like a legitimate stage-up from the cloth / mesh product that was applied on the early (series 1) products. The setup is just as simple as i might hoped and anticipated lifting the presentation / have scenario out from the box, unfolding the headphones, finding the cable (in the box) and connecting to the sockets that are found powering each ear-pad. The headphones are not the most compact when folded down (definitely not as ‘flat’ as some of the bose kit), but i definitely would not describe them as bulky or awkward. The situation is surely a welcome addition to the package, as it’s a suitable situation in which to continue to keep all the bits alongside one another and secure the headphones in transit. I consider that the cabling on the ear-pads is a good strategy, as i have far too typically had headphones that’ve experienced to be retired by damaged broken cables (and i am really specific about my kit). The setup of the p3’s delivers a conventional socket, which implies that cables can be swapped out, if there ought to be any troubles. I can also looking at it giving some supplemental adaptability / flexibility, should you want to get hold of a for a longer period cable, and use the headphones with a mounted / dwelling stereo setup.

Great sound, unfortunate design. . Whilst the sound and build quality are superb, this model has two major flaws. It becomes uncomfortable to wear after about 40 minutes, so it is not so good for watching films. Whilst fairly small in size, the case it comes with is quite bulky and it is not easy to stow the headphones back in the case after use. In fact the larger and more comfortable p5 model folds up into a more compact soft case, which is easier to put into a small briefcase. The p5 is nearly double the price but far more practical.

Excellent value b&w headphones. Slick style, excellent sound quality, loud volume without much distortion. Couldn’t for more at this price point.

Treated myself to an early christmas present. Got them much cheaper on black friday. My other headphones were cheap and not standing up well to grandchildren.I have a very small head and ears, so other bigger headphones look really ridiculous. These are tiny, i was pleasently surprised at the size. I bought them from a high end store, so was able to try them out beforehand. They are very well made with leather padded headband. There are two cables supplied, which can be changed by lifting the ear pads which are kept on with magnets. I haven’t tried it yet as it looks quite fiddly, but it does mean if the cable gets damaged it is replaceable.

Instructions could be clearer. I really like these headphones i find them really comfy the sound is nice and crisp. The only thing is the instructions would have you try to slide the ear pads up to remove them so you can change the cables when in fact they are magnetic.

A real quality product, excellent sound and very comfortable. Have previously been disappointed with senheisers which have lasted no more than two years. The materials feel long-lasting and the carry case is a useful addition.

From the moment you receive the box, you know you’re in for a pair of headphones with style. Nothing has been spared in the presentation, from the clean and smartly designed outer packaging to the classy black case used for storing the headphones themselves. The package also contains a set of basic instructions as well as a safety/warranty booklet, promotional booklet and another set of wires with a longer cable – for when you wish to listen to a soundsystem or computer, and not a portable device like a smartphone or mp3 player. The headphones have been designed with portable devices in mind though, and look the part – with a sleek, polished exterior and the capability to fold in on themselves for storage. Sound is the most important aspect for headphones, and these do not disappoint. The bass is rich, the melodies are crisp, and it gave me an extra surprise in how well it delivered binaural sound – the kind that mimics human hearing to generate a surround sound effect. Changing between the different length cables is a case of popping the covers off each earpiece and pulling out the tiny plug of each cable from inside. The earpiece covers are held on by magnets and detach simply enough, but the cable plugs are another matter, being nestled inside a little groove.

Everything about it screams apple, the minimalist white design, the varnished silver font, the material used. Apart from depth, it’s essentially an ipad mini box. And of course this looks great but also raises a concern that bowers & wilkins has no philosophy of its own or belief in its own brand and is happy to piggyback off the legacy of others. So i open the packaging and all those concerns disappear. These are stylish, elegant headphones which come in a pleasantly compact size that bucks the modern trend of wearing buckets on your ears. The sleek size takes nothing away from the sound. Quality bass without being too overpowering, which is too often another bane of modern sets.

Stylish, sleek but not too comfy. I got these from amazon to review and i have used them for the past two weeks on an almost daily basis. Here are my thoughts:first of all, the headphones came in a very stylish apple-like box. There is also a protective black carry case provided and two different cables; one has a built-in remote for compatible (smart)phones; they are at least with iphones, as this is what i tested them with. The second cable does not have that in-line remote and is useful if just listening to your tunes is what you are aftersecondly, they look smart. They are quite sleek and light. However, when i first set my eyes upon them, i was not sure about the actual headphone area and how much of my ear that would cover, as they are squarish and look smaller than conventional round headphones. The latter is not really a problem, as they fit comfortably over one’s ears without any bits of the ear feeling left out (now that is something i never expected to write). Also, the slider on each side is rigid enough to stay in place once adjusted, so that does not allow or constant re-adjustments, which is always welcome, especially when one’s holding on for dear life on the tubethe sound coming from these headphones is as you’d expect very very good. There is no obvious distortion, the treble is very good and the bass is equally well adjusted.

. The box and presentation say. I’m luxurious and high quality. I guess this is important ,,. Because i have never come across the bowers and wilkins name before. . And i’ve been buying headphones for a fair few years now. When you get them out of the box. The ear pieces fold in which is is a useful addition.

I’ve never really bothered with top end headphones before, as i’m not hugely into music – don’t get me wrong, i like music, and i enjoy listening to it, and going to gigs, but it’s not a passion, and cheapish earbuds have been enough. However, these headphones have opened my ears to a whole new worldfirstly, just looking at and touching these headphones is a sensual treat – sleek lines, smooth engineering, butter soft leather earpiece covers. Then the real joy comes in listening through them. There’s immediacy, warmth, depth, fidelity – the artist could be sat next to me for acoustic folk/rock. For heavier stuff, the bass response is not brain blowing and overwhelming, but well balanced and neutral. Given that these headphones fold neatly and pack away into their own stylish carrying case, these will be travelling with me permanently, making my little bit of the world a better place.

Lovely sound from these comfortable headphones. A really smart, comfortable and fab sounding set of headphones. The phones are responsive, with impressive treble and midrange, and a good bass response – but not overly powerful, but detailed and accurate. They produce a natural sound and are comfortable to wear even for extended listening. Supplied with a caarrying case that is a hard shell the package is designed to last a while. 5mm headphone plug these phones are compatible with most existing media players and phones – assuming they have a headphone socket. 2m long which is long enough to reach your head from a trouser pocket. These bower & wilkins phones are highly recommended.

Stylish, closed back, headphones that pack quite a punch. . I should say that i’ve been both a ‘lover’ and a ‘hater’ (although ‘hate’ is far too strong a word) of bowers and wilkins (b&w) kit for many years. I’ve had great experiences with their traditional speaker line (dm602s and onwards), but more disappointing results with their early zeppelin dock. So, i’ve tried to keep a very open mind when trying these p3 headphones. They’re well packaged, well presented and everything has a quality feel. There’s a certainly solidity to everything (and a comforting lack of ‘plastic’ on the surfaces). I immediately like the ear-pads which are now leather (the same material as the more expensive p5’s). The leather is supple, beautifully fitted and feels like a genuine step-up from the cloth / mesh material that was used on the early (series 1) models. The setup is just as straightforward as i’d hoped and expected; lifting the presentation / carry case out from the box, unfolding the headphones, locating the cable (in the box) and connecting to the sockets that are found behind each ear-pad. The headphones are not the most compact when folded down (certainly not as ‘flat’ as some of the bose kit), but i certainly would not describe them as bulky or awkward. The case is certainly a welcome addition to the kit, as it’s a proper case in which to keep all the bits together and protect the headphones in transit. I believe that the cabling on the ear-pads is a great idea, as i’ve too often had headphones that’ve had to be retired through broken damaged cables (and i’m quite particular about my kit). The setup of the p3’s provides a standard socket, which means that cables can be swapped out, if there should be any problems. I can also seeing it offering some additional flexibility / versatility, should you want to obtain a longer cable, and use the headphones with a fixed / home stereo setup.

Stylish, sound sublime, and with a quality worth twice this price. . Headphones are always a matter of taste, both in looks and in sound, and these aim towards the ‘classy and discreet’ end of the market. They are super comfortable on the head, and look very very high quality indeed. They are all brushed aluminium, leather, and matt black rubber, with a very satisfying and super smooth adjustment to the headband. You’ll find yourself sliding the earphones up and down just to enjoy the tactile sensation of it. They come in a hard plastic clamshell case, which the headphones fold up snugly into. This is great – no wishy-washy fabric bag here, we get a solid, proper, case. You can chuck these in your bag and be absolutely certain that they won’t get crushed, dirty, and the cable isn’t going to get horrifically wrapped around your car keys. Speaking of which, the cable is replaceable. If you manage to snag the leads on something and destroy it, then you can just unplug them from the headphones, and replace them.
