Bose QuietComfort® 15 headphones – : Amazing headset!

Noise Cancelling Headphones
1

A good deal of individuals are searching to justify these headphones over the a great deal much less expensive jvc ha nc250. I now have equally and can say that if your searching to maximise track record noise elimination then the bose are noticeably much better. They both equally do a fantastic job but the bose has an edge in that the precise earcups are much greater on the bose so block more sound even passively. The variance involving the two is not night and day and you may well not assume the extra sound reduced is value the further £200 or so, for me i needed the most helpful sounds elimination and the bose for me justifys the expense if that is your standards. Their capability as audiofile cans is not so good, they sound superior but evaluating a/b with my klipsch x10 seriously reveals them up.

If you are reading through this overview then you are likely in two minds about no matter if to invest in these headphones, because, let’s confront it, they are pretty highly-priced. I far too agonised for ages in excess of the less highly-priced possibilities on the market ahead of sooner or later taking the plunge and receiving a set of these. Here’s what clinched it for me. The noise-cancelling is the most effective of any i have tried – and i’ve tried out similar styles from sony, sennheiser, audio-technica and goldring. The seem high quality is exceptionally excellent. You basically will not get audiophile seem top quality from any noise cancelling headphones. There will constantly be a trade-off involving the naturalness of the listening encounter and the frequency intervention and closed again structure required for the noise cancelling to function efficiently. Own style is usually a issue when listening to headphones. I come across these deliver a very superior standard of audio high-quality and they execute equally nicely across a wide range of distinct varieties of songs.

I have had these headphones for around a thirty day period. They have proved to conduct excellently and to be rather as excellent as the statements manufactured for them. Here are the specifications for the Bose QuietComfort® 15 headphones –:

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • Our best headphones reduce more noise across a wider range of frequencies
  • Enjoy your music and movies even more, with clear and lifelike sound
  • Comfortable, around-the-ear fit
  • AAA battery: 35 hours average life
  • Ideal for frequent flyers

If you want sound cancelling. These are the finest by a country mile even versus equally high-priced rivals like the sennheisser pxc 450 (which i also personal). Super light and cozy. No notion, but they are very good plenty of.

Great noise cancellation with some irritation. I have tried out goldring one thousand headphones earlier, so my overview is in comparison with them. The bose headphones :one) have far better sounds cancellation, i can say about ninety% on the flights. A lot more than the engine noise, i believe you can only perception the airplane vibration at the time you don these. Goldring blocked about 50% but they are also about 1/5th the price tag of bose. 2) occur with in-flight adapter, a battery and a good pouch. three) make excellent is previously mentioned typical, but not as fantastic as it should be for the rate. four) slight pain soon after putting on them for 3-4 hours, my correct ear ached a little bit. I took a split for 10 minutes and wore yet again. five)light sufficient to have on and goto slumber. six)they go over the ears totally and are productive in blocking the sound passively, specially excellent if you have a crying child future to you as i did on the flight7)sound excellent just earlier mentioned typical, remaining shut headphones, seem is not spacious. I really like them and do not regret expending the funds (nevertheless it is ton and i would have liked to try out jvc 250).

Reviews from purchasers :

  • A fantastic product, but still very expensive
  • Expensive but they are great
  • You Get What You Pay For

I have normally rated the bose solution, this headphone is no different. The convenience is wonderful and the high-quality is 2nd to none. The only downside i can find is the use of aa batteries rather of a rechargeable unit.

I couldn’t make up my thoughts between these and the b&w p5s, roughly the very same selling price. Listened to the two for hrs to different genre’s of music, classics, jazz and rock. P5s, great create excellent and sound but for me terribly awkward. The strain on your ears is unbearable after a whilst and the future working day endured from ear ache. The bose are exceptionally at ease, astounding and the sound very great. Distinct to the b&ws as they sit all-around the ears not urgent towards them. The appear and construct is excellent and they are extremely gentle.

Good noise cancelling headphones have the capacity to transform a travel experience and these are the best noise cancelling headphones i have been able to test. Yes, they are expensive, but they make long-haul journeys substantially less miserable. You don’t have to travel much to justify the price differential.

I could not afford these so my dad has just sent me his in the post to borrow as i have noisy neighbours. Ive ordered an extension lead as the one that is supplied is to short. The main thing is – they really do work – they cancel out a massive amount almost all of the background sound. When i put them on ( without clicking the button and using the battery) the background noise was cut down a lot – i was suprised . When i clicked the button, the sound of the cooker and fridge vanished, so did the waterfall outside, which is quite loud, and later when i turned it off again i heard the usual noise next door. I have them with me all the time, as it means i can just rest or relax by putting them on and not turning the radio on to drown out next door. My dad called this morning to ask if i still wanted them ( after 2 days . ) erm , ive got them now dad .

I have had these headphones for over a month. They have proved to perform excellently and to be quite as good as the claims made for them.

Worth every penny – far better than dre monster studios. A few weeks ago i was shopping around for a pair of over-ear cans to listen to whilst travelling, and narrowed the search down to dre monster studio beats and these, bose’s qc15s. I was immediately drawn to the studio beats, the sheer level of noise they were capable of producing as well as the design impressed me a lot. However, after testing them ‘in anger’ i was extremely disappointed to find out that the noise leakage on studio beats is ridiculous, to the point of rendering them useless unless you’re a music producer in a studio environment. I was recommended by a audiophile friend to try these and, after trying them out in my local bose store, the noise cancelling function alone is enough to justify the hefty price tag. If you stand on a busy street with traffic and switch these on, you’re instantly transported to a serene bubble of silence. The music reproduction when plugged into ipods/computers is excellent. I’ve tested them with classical, rock, dance, pop, acoustic and hip-hop tracks and i really can’t fault the sound design. Everything sounds perfectly natural whilst maintaining a warm, rich experience. I noticed notes and nuances in acoustic tracks particularly that i’d never heard before. The comfort is also outstanding. I wore these recently on a 5hr flight and they stayed on (my in-ear buds usually come out after an hour or so due to discomfort). Highly recommended – buy these and make sure you’re paying for the tech, not a name.

What can i say about these headphones. Music quality is fantastic and the noise reduction is excellent. Can now listern to music and audiobooks in teh front room with kids playing and tv on and i only hear the music. They are without doubt the best purchase i’ve ever made.

A lot of people are looking to justify these headphones over the much cheaper jvc ha nc250. I now have both and can say that if your looking to maximise background noise removal then the bose are noticeably better. They both do a good job but the bose has an advantage in that the actual earcups are much larger on the bose so block more noise even passively. The difference between the 2 is not night and day and you may not think the extra noise reduced is worth the extra £200 or so, for me i wanted the most effective noise removal and the bose for me justifys the cost if that is your criteria. Their ability as audiofile cans is not so great, they sound good but comparing a/b with my klipsch x10 really shows them up.

Fantastic noise cancellation with some discomfort. I have tried goldring 1000 headphones previously, so my review is in comparison with them. The bose headphones :1) have better noise cancellation, i can say about 90% on the flights. More than the engine noise, i think you can only sense the plane vibration once you wear these. Goldring blocked about 50% but they are also about 1/5th the price of bose. 2) come with in-flight adapter, a battery and a good pouch. 3) build quality is above average, but not as good as it should be for the price. 4) slight discomfort after wearing them for 3-4 hours, my right ear ached a bit. I took a break for 10 minutes and wore again. 5)light enough to wear and goto sleep. 6)they cover the ears completely and are effective in blocking the noise passively, particularly good if you have a crying baby next to you as i did on the flight7)sound quality just above average, being closed headphones, sound is not spacious. I love them and do not regret spending the money (though it is lot and i would have liked to try jvc 250).

Expensive but they are great. As other reviews have said, if you are reading this review you will be probably be agonising over paying the price of these headphone. I kept going back to the bose display at my local retailer and every time was blown away by how much back ground noise they seemed to cut out but being a cynic i just put it down to the “display” being set up to maximise the bose experience and so i spent the best part of 3 months keep talking myself out of it. In that time ordered the sennheiser and philips at £128 & £85 respectively on amazon on the basis that if they were cheaper i would be prepared to put up with some background noise. I found the sennheiser’s uncomfortable and a little too big, but the philips were very comfortable. With each i also tried to replicate being on a plane by playing the sound of an aircraft over the pc to see how much background noise got through and in both cases there was some to a greater or lesser extent. I like the philips but in the end i ordered the bose on amazon and did the same test and they cut out almost 100% of the background noise even when the pc speakers were turned up to a level that would be more than you would get on a plane. Ok this was not a very scientific experiment but it did help me to establish that the bose performed much better than the others and in my mind at least justified paying the extra money. The philips went back the next dayamazons return policy was first class as always, so if you are in doubt order them – and make your own mind up.

Bose noise cancelling headphones. I don’t own these headphones but i’ve tried them in the apple store in london and nyc. In terms of noise cancelling, these are the best headphones out there. You simply can’t hear anything once the switch is on. But i think the sound is simply not loud enough and in terms of sound quality i would say beats by dr. Am i the only one who thinks this?anyway these headphones are excellent and probably worth the price.

Noise cancellation is superb. Short review:sound quality – sound quality is great a little bit not enough bass but otherwise very nice. Noise cancellation – it cancels almost all the noises except human noises. If someone will speak to you, you will hear them, but if you sit on an air plane even near the engines you wont hear anything. Comfort – these headphones are the most comfortable headphones i have ever had. The leather is so soft, even after several hours of using these headphones your ears doesn’t hurt. Price – totally worth it, the price is a bit expensive but it is worth it.

Granted this is a lot of money for headphones that you probably wouldn’t be seen dead in walking down the street, but they are simply phenomenal for long distance traveling. The noise cancellation is amazing and they are seriously comfortable to wear. Good storage case and good battery life means i will always have these with me on the plane.Worth trying in a shop to see just how great these are.

I decided i needed a good pair of headphone so i did a bit of googling and one of the top adverts took me to the bose website. I’ve payed ~£60 for a relatively good pair of sony head phone only to snap the cable while standing up. Twice, only to carry on using ipod buds. That tinny sound consistantly gave me a headache and i ended up not really ever using the ipod except for surfing the net in bed. So i decided to pay through the teeth for a pair of bose, which i knew produced quality audio hardware from reviews and friends. So i guess i’m just regurgating what i’ve read, i’m 100% happy with the sound as a normal pair of headphones, however i didn’t really know what to expect from the noise cancelling. It’s fantastic, i can sit in the office and sit in a bubble and concentrate on what i’m writing as opposed to listening to the grinding of the air conditioning or somebody on the phone behind me constantly distracting me. They arrived yesterday and i took them for a walk in a pasture next to an a-road and couldn’t here a thing except the quiet ambient music i was listening to. From my experience they are better at cancelling droning noises as oppose to voices which are just considerably dampened still audiable.

I’m not keen on in-ear headphones – i’ve some ultimate ears headphones which do a great job of blocking noise but i find them very uncomfortable. So i wanted headphones that didn’t go inside but would reduce noise so i don’t have to listen to my iphone on full blasti’ve been amazed at how good they are at reducing noise. It can’t reduce external noise to silence but essentially its like turning the volume down on the worldthey are actually as effective at noise reduction as some ear plugs i have.Unlike claims in some reviews i’ve seen they won’t stop the sound of a screaming baby next to you or someone chatting loudly in the next seat but they really do a great job of reducing general external noise. I had some people talking loudly outside my window – coupled with busy traffic noise and a pc fan. With the headphones on and some music on quietly i couldn’t hear a thing of the noise outsidei’m no audiophile but the sound quality sounds good to me. One area i am disappointed about is the hiss sound they make. Its not audible with music on or in a noisy environment. But in a quiet room playing an audio book the hiss is clearly heard.

I couldn’t make up my mind between these and the b&w p5s, roughly the same price. Listened to both for hours to different genre’s of music, classics, jazz and rock. P5s, great build quality and sound but for me terribly uncomfortable. The pressure on your ears is unbearable after a while and the next day suffered from ear ache. The bose are extremely comfortable, amazing and the sound very good. Different to the b&ws as they sit around the ears not pressing against them. The look and build is good and they are very light.

Bose have certainly put themselves ahead of in the niche noise cancelling headphones market. The qc15 arrives in a rigid oval-like soft case with the headphones, manual, airplane 2-pin adapter, batteries and even a set of courtesy cards to hand out to your friends. The adapter can be placed in a detachable pouch affixed to the inner lining by velcro. The headphones are solidly built and and reek of quality. It is almost at odds with the snugness afforded by how they fit over the ears. A lead is provided that fits seamlessly (almost) into the left speaker and the battery slots into a hidden compartment on the right side. A single aaa battery is provided and according to the manufacturer, lasts 35 hours. My experience would say that this to be not too far off the mark.

If you are reading this review then you are probably in two minds about whether to buy these headphones, because, let’s face it, they are very costly. I too agonised for ages over the less expensive options on the market before eventually taking the plunge and getting a set of these. Here’s what clinched it for me. The noise-cancelling is the most effective of any i’ve tried – and i’ve tried comparable models from sony, sennheiser, audio-technica and goldring. The sound quality is extremely good. You simply will not get audiophile sound quality from any noise cancelling headphones. There will always be a trade-off between the naturalness of the listening experience and the frequency intervention and closed back design necessary for the noise cancelling to work effectively. Personal taste is always a factor when listening to headphones. I find these provide a very high standard of audio quality and they perform equally well across a wide variety of different types of music.

I must say that the job done by this headset and by bose is amazing. I have been using it when travelling by plane and by car and it has revealed simply perfectin the plane, the noise canceling is so impressive, that you can easily reduce the volume of your player and still enjoy every single note. The headset might be a little pricey but i think it is really worth it.
