Not as speedy or detailed as the dt48s but much more relaxed to dress in and simpler to hear to significantly prolonged. Introduced these to swap a pair of dt48. Not as quickly or in depth as the dt48s but additional comfy to don and simpler to hear to far extended intervals.

Superbgerman built, relatives owned company since pre war era. Previous akg consumer, under no circumstances a lot more akg.

Mostly for experienced use, not truly have all over type of headphones. First tried out in a shop and they appeared ‘kinda much too bright’, but subsequent so numerous constructive reviews resolved to order from amazon to at least check for 30 days myself. I have to acknowledge, i like these headphones soon after all. They seem very well balanced with really great highs and lows, also pretty in-depth in the similar time. Quality would seem to be really great, but headphones are not truly moveable. They are not foldable, adhering to the well-known beyer style and design custom. Provided situation is enormous in measurement and you can’t match headphones there with a cable hooked up. Detaching a cable involve a minor little bit of force (at minimum in my pair) and appear unnecessary undertaking to do each day. Coiled cable is difficult and not so easy to uncoil, which is also pity as i like coiled cables, but i also like them to be softer. Update eleven/2016:the headphones have only marginal ambient sound isolation. Here are the specifications for the Beyerdynamic DT 1770 PRO Studio Reference Headphones:

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • Closed studio reference headphones for mixing, mastering, monitoring and recording, “Made in Germany”
  • 250 Ohms, 45 mm dynamic Tesla neodymium driver
  • Single-sided, detachable cable
  • Soft, replaceable ear pads and headband for long studio sessions
  • Delivery contents: 2 ear pads (velours and leatherette), 2 cable (coiled and straight, 3 m), Premium carrying case

Wonderful headphones, roomy punchy bass which is crisp. Good headphones, spacious punchy bass which is crisp. If everything they might lack just a little bit of enjoyment musicality. In any other case i really like them and absolutely well worth the invest in.

Superb, the most effective headphones i have ever employed and i have used a number of. The high quality of the sound delivered to your ears is truly incredible. You hear all the things as it is meant to be listened to, the clarity is breathtaking, not as well substantially bass, in fact these are excellent. Well set collectively product or service working with top excellent products. I can not advocate these remarkably more than enough.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Great headphones, spacious punchy bass which is crisp
  • I was initially disappointed with the top end but z change of interconnect
  • DT 1770 Pro’s vs Oppo PM-3: comparison and mini-review.

My favorite headphone at any time.

Dt1770 professionals reveal the sections of recordings other headphones can not achieve. I have owned may well excellent sets of headphones (grado, beyerdynamic, sennheiser and many others) but the new dt-1770 execs are a complete revelation ‘revealing the elements of recordings other headphones can not reach’. Just listen to quincy jones’ manufacturing on you should not stop ’til you get plenty of from off the wall. You will have to listen to you total audio selection again. (on the transfer they function fantastically with an oppo-ha-2).

I was initially disappointed with the top end but z change of interconnect. A lovely smooth and detailed sound. I was initially disappointed with the top end but z change of interconnect cable from pre amp to the headphone amplifier proved it wasn’t the the headphones fault. (see my review of chord clearway 1m rca lead for the full story).

Good quality, comfortable, neutral-sounding cans. . 1st pair arrived with faulty right speaker distorting. Returned, with replacement working fine. In summary; good pair of cans; recommend you have a decent quality source that can supply enough power for them otherwise they can sound a touch quiet and slightly ‘thin’. Replaceable ear muffs and cable should considerably prolong lifespan. Detail:bought to upgrade from philips fidelio m2s (first pair lasted 20 months, 2nd about 6 before disintegrating hence concern about lifespan). Sound and build quality knock the philips into a cocked hat. Use almost exclusively with iphone 6 and oppo ha-2 dac/amp (also from amazon) for pleasure. 3 reasons for this;1) the headphones can take a bit of driving (esp. With older ‘pre-loudness war’ recordings), and can be a bit quiet on their own; not inaudible, but occasionally not quite loud enough.

Not as fast or detailed as the dt48s but more comfortable to wear and easier to listen to far prolonged. Brought those to replace a pair of dt48. Not as fast or detailed as the dt48s but more comfortable to wear and easier to listen to far prolonged periods.

You’ll never hear the music the way you’ve heard it before. If you have long hair you might loose a few hears if you’re djing with these. Maybe the finishing could be done a bit better.

Mostly for professional use, not really carry around type of headphones. First tried in a shop and they seemed “kinda too bright”, but following so many positive reviews decided to order from amazon to at least test for 30 days myself. I have to admit, i like these headphones after all. They sound very balanced with very nice highs and lows, also very detailed in the same time. Quality seems to be very good, but headphones are not really portable. They are not foldable, following the famous beyer design tradition. Included case is huge in size and you cannot fit headphones there with a cable attached. Detaching a cable require a little bit of force (at least in my pair) and seem unnecessary task to do every day. Coiled cable is hard and not so easy to uncoil, which is also pity as i like coiled cables, but i also like them to be softer. Superb, the best headphones i have ever used and i have used a few. The quality of the sound delivered to your ears is truly amazing. You hear everything as it is supposed to be heard, the clarity is stunning, not too much bass, in fact these are perfect. Well put together product using top quality materials. I can’t recommend these highly enough.

Replacement pair sent and all fine now, these headphones are top notch and sound. First pair turned up used and not new , replacement pair sent and all fine now , these headphones are top notch and sound fantastic , plenty of punch and power the telsa 2. Sold my oppo pm3’s there a great pair of phones but up against the 1770’s they just lack something, pink floyd’s echoes fed through my schiit amp into these beauties sounds the shiiiiiiit. Whoever marks these less than 5 must have either bad ears or a bad set up with poor quality music going through them , tesla 2. 0 drivers offer some of the best reproduction for this price range and i know i’ve had everything from lcd 3’s to alpha primes and loads in between, they are not bad phones just not suited to everyone.

Dt 1770 pro’s vs oppo pm-3: comparison and mini-review. . I won’t go into great detail over the headphones as i don’t feel i have an adequate knowledge of terminology within the audiophile realm. I bought a pair of oppo pm-3’s which by all accounts are a great pair of headphones. I also bought the the oppo ha-2 portable amp/dac paired with my iphone 6s for streaming music via tidal hifi for some great music listening on the go. Oppo’s pm-3’s however, fell short when it came to the heavy rock/metal music genre. Bass boosting on the ha-2 helped a little but i was underwhelmed due to the loss of detail accross the bass and high’s. Granted, listening to songs where the bass is the dominant factor the oppo pm-3’s will blow you away, but when listening to bands such as slipknot, american head charge, meshuggah and the likes [metal genre] the individual drums and symbols were overwhemled by the mids that bite my ears off at high volume levels. I would have stuck with the pm-3’s had there been more kick with the bass drum but it just wasn’t there. So, i gave the dt 1770 pro’s a try and straight away the sound that i knew could be had from this type of music came alive, and thankfully without compromise to the other types of music i’d listen to such as hip-hop, drum and bass, folk, and classical.

A welcome new direction for beyer. Bought with my own cash money. Update iv — 23/2/16 — ditched the a20 as treble detail was a little bit lacking and the bass had a tendency to be slightly overwhelming (only a tad – but enough to cause brain annoyance) which i’m putting down to the power output of the amplifier as i had a similar issue with my high output tube amp. I preferred the sound signature of the dt1770’s plugged straight into my ipad but it didn’t go loud enough on some recordings and lacked some body (brilliant for modern well mastered tracks so if that’s your bag – you don’t need an amp). I’ve since switched to the oppo ha-2 which has a good clean neutral sound and with its low gain switch the bass is once again perfect and no loss of any resolution whatsoever. Keeper for defo (and no more updates). Update iii — 25/12/15 —- now paired with beyerdynamic a20 amplifier – just wow.I thought they were great without an amp and even better when paired with my fiio e12a but paired with the a20 these are sublime.

Extraordinary space and clarity for closed back headphones. I had the pleasure of auditioning these new headphones at canjam in london earlier this year, and i can confirm that these are truly excellent closed monitor headphones. I’ve used dt770s as my main studio headphones for a decade and a half, and have used them for my leisure listening for most of that time too, as i’m very comfortable with their sound signature. The new dt1770s definitely felt familiar, but with a veil removed between listener and music. They still seemed to have a slightly ‘u’ or ‘v’ shaped signature, but with extraordinary space and clarity for a closed back set of headphones. They may possibly be the best closed headphones i’ve ever listened with. The build quality goes without saying, and beyer still seem to be aiming these at studio use as much as leisure, so everything is replaceable. I still find the the 770s the most comfortable phones to wear for long periods when working, and the 1770s felt just as good, if not better. I can’t imagine anyone who uses 770s disappointed with these new additions. The sound signature is different – there would be no point in making them sound the same.

Initially items 1st and aesthetically this is a definitely intelligent seeking bit of package, with a good velvet-appear carry bag. Sony MDR-XB500 Extra Bass Headphones – : An honest review.

It claims extra bass and thats what you get. I prefered this xb500 more than the sucessor xb600. As decribed, these headphones present a bass weighty response. That remaining said, the sound good quality is great for the cost, and the significant cusions give quite great noise isolation, provided there …
