Decent laptop for the price, let down by no. Decent laptop for the price, let down by no indication whether caps lock is on or off. Frustrating when typing passwords etc in lower case only to find caps lock is on.

I like the design, nice and sleek runs amazingly. No problems with this productwould recommend to anyone.

50/50 not all that impressed. So far the product seems okay, it works well and all and the design is nice and sleek, there are a few things that concern me though. Considering i’ve only had this laptop for less than a week. The battery seems faulty, its supposed to have an extended battery lifespan and a quick google search suggests it should last up to 5 hours. The laptop dies in 2 hours or under. It’s supposed to have a backup feature for when the laptop reaches 5% battery but it shuts down after reaching 7/6% and whilst downloading a regular steam file it decreased 10% in less than 10 minutes. When i turn on my laptop for a brief moment the screen tints a cool blue colour and corrects itself after a moment or two. I’m pretty sure a new laptop shouldn’t have either of these issues.

8gb of ram and a 1tb hard drive so when i found this i was pleased as it’s cheaper than a version i created myself. I’ve been searching for a laptop for ages that has an i5 processor, 8gb of ram and a 1tb hard drive so when i found this i was pleased as it’s cheaper than a version i created myself on pc specialist. I haven’t had it long but so far i love it, it runs games like the sims 4, minecraft and looking at the system requirements for games like cs go and fallout 4 i believe it could run those too on low/medium settings. Personally i think this laptop is good for its value and for me has been good for gaming, work and video editing. It also works well with the elgato.

Very fast and other specs means very good value.

Good specification and a decent price. Bought for daughter going to university. Good specification and a decent price.

Replaced an ageing toshiba l350-171 which has a much better keyboard and the display has better colour. 7ghz) is quicker, as you would expect, but is let down, for the cost of a couple of led’s, by having no indication whether caps lock and num lock are on or off, caps lock is extremely frustrating when entering passwords. The keyboard is a bit springy and i prefer a wireless mouse to the touch pad so overall it’s ok as i’m not interested in games. Came with windows 10 but the downloaded manual from asus assumes it has w8 and the support service is unhelpful suggesting i should contact microsoft. Overall at the price (£379 from pcw) still represents good value.

Is easy to use and is very quick. I wanted a lap top that would be relevant for a number of years for light gaming and office. My previous laptop was also asus and i got this new one to update after six years. It was delivered very quickly, is easy to use and is very quick. I’ve updated to windows 10 and all in all it’s doing everything i ask of it. It’s very fast to boot up and the keyboard is very comfortable. It easily handles running mmo on highest graphics settings. I’m really pleased and would recommend.

Amazing laptop, plays all games i needed it to play i’ve had it for a few months now and it’s still perfect some parts feel cheaply made but after a while you can see that it’s perfectly fine. I’ve also wrote code and done some webdesign on this device and i’ve had 0 problems, even used linux on it 5/5 would reccomend to anyone.

Just to note, if anyone is having issues with games make sure to set the nvidia graphics card as the default for all apps and set the power management of windows to high performance.

There are a few things i don’t like about it. Had the laptop for a couple of months now. There are a few things i don’t like about it. First, the touchpad buttons are very ‘clunky’. When you press them they make a loud clunking sound. You don’t need to press them down as you can just tap the touchpad instead. But i would prefer to press it down. Also because both the left and right buttons are built into the touchpad you cannot push down both at the same time. This is a problem if you are a gamer as some games require you to press these buttons at the same time. Second, when pushing the screen back it tends to creak making me think that i am going to snap it at the hinges.

I’ve had this for about a month now and i’m very pleased with it — it’s a bit faster than my old acer (which lasted reasonably well for seven years), and i’m appreciating windows 10, which is new to me.

Seems to be a decent mid priced laptop. Been using for a couple weeks now and initial assessment is very good. Comfortable to use, decent screen and ok sound for its size. Nice and quick processing everything.

Great laptop, sad about the fan. . Pretty awesome laptop, very happy with my purchase. The only thing i am bugged by is the sound of the fan, because it sounds far too loud for any laptop (it sounds like a hoover, sometimes), but with my headphones in i can’t really tell. It may just be mine, but other than this one thing, the whole laptop is just perfect.

ASUS N550LF-CK108H 15 : graphic card issue

A really impressive spec, a nice design and quite light for a laptop of this kind but why oh why include a screen resolution of 1366×768?. It has a blu ray optical drive which will never be able to fulfill its capability on such a poor screen. Considering the price …
