I obtained it when it was at £799. I got it when it was at £799 and imagined it was a cut price. It took me ages to locate a laptop that experienced the most up-to-date processor and first rate ample graphics card for the rate. It boots up in seconds and runs game titles like fallout 4 at 58-62fps at superior configurations. It runs pretty tranquil when playing video games and gets a little bit heat but almost nothing to stress about but i am wondering of getting a cooling pad. The processor is the latest i5 which is good and the graphics card has 4gb vram which is what you require. 2gb in all probability isn’t plenty of in the very long operate. There are a number of downsides: ram can only be upgraded to 16gb, the battery only lasts for about an hour when playing online games so requires to be plugged in and the situation is really significant and is a fingerprint magnet.

I enjoy this products, i received almost everything that is printed in this article.

Got this laptop about a week ago, works perfect. Ssd does a great job, windows starts in a few seconds. Decent battery life as well. Here are the specifications for the ASUS ROG Strix ZX553VD-DM641T 15:

A superior laptop for a very good cost, worth the cash. Been making use of for about a 7 days or so and am very much making the most of the laptop – my very first gaming laptop. I know some people will be involved with the display, so may as nicely get that out of the way to start out, the screen is truly quite fantastic, not as bright or lively as a ips screen, but it does the task really well and i haven’t found any difficulties when participating in. Anything operates very well, fan can get a little bit loud when participating in demanding game titles but shortly quiets down later on. Operates some of the more recent video games effectively – star wars battlefront is 60fps on ultra options, battlefield 1 will get about 45fps on extremely options far too, things older than that operates fantastic and items like alien isolation without having vsync on was giving one hundred-110 fps on extremely settings – so basicly if you are not wanting to operate the pretty most latest games on extremely then this laptop will do you correctly great. Backpack and mouse that arrive with it are great additions, mouse is effective effectively but could do with a few a lot more buttons – keyboard is quite snug and simple to use and its helpful to have a laptop with dvd-rom generate as a great deal really don’t these days. All in all a extremely great laptop and really worth the revenue (value £750 at time of get).

Am so delighted with the value way too. Beautiful laptop does all i want and much more. Am so delighted with the selling price as well. Appears to be like great and keys are light-weight touch so uncomplicated to use and monitor colors can be established distinct for night viewing if you want as properly, for your evenings, its actually quickly to load remarkable bit of package.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • solid investment
  • Great for gaming
  • Surpassed my expectations.

Really fast with boot up, switch on to chrome in 10 seconds. Runs games fairly well, though not gonna run aaa at 60fps at 1080p max, probably medium for most aaa games like overwatch and guild wars 2. Screen is really good, and the mouse has a plethora of settings with rog armoury. The bag is pretty big so its good to use as a conventional rucksack. Overall i would say this laptop is solid. 99, which is a little steep, but definitely a worthy investment if youre a student who like to play video games.

Good value, high spec for the price.

It works very smoothly, i can easily run the witcher 3 in this laptop with high settings.

The performance is just what you’d expect from the specifications, it’s able to run doom at a stable 60+ fps at around medium settings as well as pretty much anything else you throw at it as long as the settings are right. The ability to expand ram to 16 gigabytes is quite nice too. The biggest pros are the design, build quality and keyboard. Unlike some other “gaming laptops” the design is rather elegant; the dark red details on the back show that the laptop isn’t any old office laptop, while still staying classy. The laptop is completely plastic, but build quality still feels solid with minimal screen flex, and the hinges are good too. Only complaint i have is that the plastic is a fingerprint magnet. The keyboard is also quite nice to type on. There’s a decent amount of travel before the key registers, feedback is decent, and and the force required is slightly above that of cherry mx browns. It’s no mechanical keyboard, but it feels really nice, beats most membrane office keyboards i’ve used, and def.

Excellent budget gaming laptop (but short battery life). Have been a casual desktop gamer for many years and this is my first gaming laptop mainly due to the big bargain price (25% off) here. This laptop is definitely not the top spec machine but it handles all the demanding games on the market. An excellent choice for a first gaming laptop. The ssd + hdd combo hit the budget/speed/storage balance right on. 3 inch screen looks great for gaming, the keyboard is responsive and the speakers are loud and clear. The only complaint i have is the short battery life, the quoted 3 hrs was for reference only and under high stress 3d games, very lucky to get 1. 5 hrs out of it (minus 1 star here).

A good laptop for a good price, worth the money. Been using for about a week or so and am very much enjoying the laptop – my first gaming laptop. I know some people will be concerned with the screen, so might as well get that out of the way to start, the screen is actually very good, not as bright or vibrant as a ips screen, but it does the job very well and i haven’t noticed any issues when playing. Everything runs well, fan can get a bit loud when playing demanding games but soon quiets down afterwards. Runs some of the newer games well – star wars battlefront is 60fps on ultra settings, battlefield 1 gets around 45fps on ultra settings too, stuff older than that works excellent and things like alien isolation without vsync on was giving 100-110 fps on ultra settings – so basicly if you are not wanting to run the very most recent games on ultra then this laptop will do you perfectly fine. Backpack and mouse that come with it are nice additions, mouse works well but could do with a couple more buttons – keyboard is very comfortable and easy to use and its handy to have a laptop with dvd-rom drive as a lot don’t these days. All in all a very good laptop and worth the money (cost £750 at time of order).

This is a great laptop for the price and is well set up to take on most things. I use this laptop for work/gaming and some hobby photoshop and video editing. The performance of the laptop has been great to date, it performs well playing games on high graphics generally speaking. The keyboard is good quality and i find it good to use, the only negative is that it is very hard to see if you turn the back lighting off. The computer starts up fast thanks to the ssd, so it is just as fast to shutdown and restart as it is to wake up from sleep. The included mouse is great as a thrown in although could really do with being wireless. Negatives: the screen is a tn 1080p whilst is displays well generally the viewing angles are pretty bad and it really could do with an ips screen, but for the price it’s a willing sacrifice to make. The case of the laptop in general is a finger print magnet, so invest in some screen wipes etc. As you’ll constantly be cleaning it.
