Update: had to eliminate graphics motorists and re-put in them 2 times. Will in all probability return for credit score. Examining to see if further more advancements can be manufactured in software.

Great item fast and excellent size.

Exceptional spending plan gaming laptop (but brief battery existence). Have been a relaxed desktop gamer for numerous years and this is my first gaming laptop largely because of to the large bargain price (25% off) right here. This laptop is surely not the leading spec equipment but it handles all the demanding video games on the current market. An exceptional choice for a initially gaming laptop. The ssd + hdd combo strike the finances/speed/storage harmony appropriate on. 3 inch monitor appears terrific for gaming, the keyboard is responsive and the speakers are loud and very clear. The only complaint i have is the small battery lifetime, the quoted 3 hrs was for reference only and underneath higher pressure 3d games, really fortunate to get one. 5 hrs out of it (minus one star here).

A powerful and very capable pc from asus. This is a high spec machine intended for gamers – it has republic of gamers (rog) branding all over it – subtle orange hue on the case, a well made rucksack for carrying the pc around and orange back-lit keys. If you didn’t realise that this was a gaming machine by reading the spec, you will when you get your hands on this pc. It has a big 1tb hard drive and a 128gb ssd – so out of the box this machine is booted and into windows 10 in seconds. The graphics card is an nvidia geforce gtx 1050 with 4gb of dedicated graphics. Reading the specification it doesn’t mean very much in writing but in practice what it really means is that with my portfolio of games and programmes, this beast was able to handle everything that i could challenge it with – but i’m aware that may not be an adequate benchmark for some of the readers of this review. . Sorry but i tend to use xbox1 and now switch for my video games fixes, rather than a pc. Minecraft ran smoothly and without any lagging or artefacts though. And internet access was fast and seamless – this is a very quick machine. The keys feel good and are easy to use although the bright orange backlighting may not be to everybody’s taste – and whilst it is possible to turn down the lighting effect the text on the keys is also printed in orange so it is difficult to view the keys in poor lighting. A wired mouse is provided with the pc – i prefer to use a wireless mouse myself though so this isn’t going to be used much. Throwing in a carry case – in this case a rucksack is a great idea and more pc manufacturers should do this – in this case too the rog rucksack is well made and will protect the asus pc well – it also has room to throw in accessories and games too. Great addition to the package. In all this is a well spec’d pc that is very capable of running the games i tried very smoothly – it’s great value and the addition of an ssd as well as the hdd means that this pc boots very quickly and runs windows 10 lightning fast.

I adore this product or service, i obtained anything that is released here.

ASUS ROG Strix ZX553VD-DM640T 15.6-inch FHD Gaming Laptop with Gaming Backpack and Mouse (Black Red) – (Intel Core i5-7300HQ, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD , NVIDIA GTX1050 4GB GDDR5 Graphics, Windows 10) : This is a very decent package from a trustworthy brand when it comes to computers. Asus’ customer service is top notch too, which i feel is very important given the failure rate of mobile devices. As well as the laptop, you also get an excellent rucksack (featuring an array of pouches for peripherals, well padded straps and lumber support) and a decent mouse. The rucksack alone would set you back a pretty penny, so i was very happy to see it included as an investment such as this deserves the same amount of protection. The laptop itself is extremely well specced and will easily run most modern games at a steady 1080p-60fps, with few – if any – dips. Judging these benchmarks is always going to be contentious given how many different genres of games are available, but i would confidently say that having the resolution locked at 1080p is key to getting good frame rates and general performance. This is the advantage of gaming on a laptop; if you were to use a large pc monitor instead, it’s more tempting to go above 2k for better pixel density, but at the expense of worser performance. For everything else, the laptop is a breeze to use. The cpu is more than capable for everyday tasks and is helped out by the ssd-hdd combo, which you can of course use as you wish.

It works very smoothly, i can easily run the witcher 3 in this laptop with high settings.

Really fast with boot up, switch on to chrome in 10 seconds. Runs games fairly well, though not gonna run aaa at 60fps at 1080p max, probably medium for most aaa games like overwatch and guild wars 2. Screen is really good, and the mouse has a plethora of settings with rog armoury. The bag is pretty big so its good to use as a conventional rucksack. Overall i would say this laptop is solid. 99, which is a little steep, but definitely a worthy investment if youre a student who like to play video games.

The performance is just what you’d expect from the specifications, it’s able to run doom at a stable 60+ fps at around medium settings as well as pretty much anything else you throw at it as long as the settings are right. The ability to expand ram to 16 gigabytes is quite nice too. The biggest pros are the design, build quality and keyboard. Unlike some other “gaming laptops” the design is rather elegant; the dark red details on the back show that the laptop isn’t any old office laptop, while still staying classy. The laptop is completely plastic, but build quality still feels solid with minimal screen flex, and the hinges are good too. Only complaint i have is that the plastic is a fingerprint magnet. The keyboard is also quite nice to type on. There’s a decent amount of travel before the key registers, feedback is decent, and and the force required is slightly above that of cherry mx browns. It’s no mechanical keyboard, but it feels really nice, beats most membrane office keyboards i’ve used, and def.

Excellent budget gaming laptop (but short battery life). Have been a casual desktop gamer for many years and this is my first gaming laptop mainly due to the big bargain price (25% off) here. This laptop is definitely not the top spec machine but it handles all the demanding games on the market. An excellent choice for a first gaming laptop. The ssd + hdd combo hit the budget/speed/storage balance right on. 3 inch screen looks great for gaming, the keyboard is responsive and the speakers are loud and clear. The only complaint i have is the short battery life, the quoted 3 hrs was for reference only and under high stress 3d games, very lucky to get 1. 5 hrs out of it (minus 1 star here).

A good laptop for a good price, worth the money. Been using for about a week or so and am very much enjoying the laptop – my first gaming laptop. I know some people will be concerned with the screen, so might as well get that out of the way to start, the screen is actually very good, not as bright or vibrant as a ips screen, but it does the job very well and i haven’t noticed any issues when playing. Everything runs well, fan can get a bit loud when playing demanding games but soon quiets down afterwards. Runs some of the newer games well – star wars battlefront is 60fps on ultra settings, battlefield 1 gets around 45fps on ultra settings too, stuff older than that works excellent and things like alien isolation without vsync on was giving 100-110 fps on ultra settings – so basicly if you are not wanting to run the very most recent games on ultra then this laptop will do you perfectly fine. Backpack and mouse that come with it are nice additions, mouse works well but could do with a couple more buttons – keyboard is very comfortable and easy to use and its handy to have a laptop with dvd-rom drive as a lot don’t these days. All in all a very good laptop and worth the money (cost £750 at time of order).

This is a great laptop for the price and is well set up to take on most things. I use this laptop for work/gaming and some hobby photoshop and video editing. The performance of the laptop has been great to date, it performs well playing games on high graphics generally speaking. The keyboard is good quality and i find it good to use, the only negative is that it is very hard to see if you turn the back lighting off. The computer starts up fast thanks to the ssd, so it is just as fast to shutdown and restart as it is to wake up from sleep. The included mouse is great as a thrown in although could really do with being wireless. Negatives: the screen is a tn 1080p whilst is displays well generally the viewing angles are pretty bad and it really could do with an ips screen, but for the price it’s a willing sacrifice to make. The case of the laptop in general is a finger print magnet, so invest in some screen wipes etc. As you’ll constantly be cleaning it.

Surpassed my expectations. . I’m only taking into account how this product performs for what i expected. This computer is super fast and well worth what i bought for it. I haven’t used the bag yet but i know it’ll come in handy later. The mouse is super comfortable, especially for a lefty like me and it runs games so-so-so-so-so-so well. The core i7 and the gtx 1050 are close to top tier for a gaming experience. I love the red backlit keyboard. The surface behind the screen is super cool too. The ssd allows the computer to boot up and run very quickly and smoothly. The 1tb hard drive gives me plenty of memory for all the worksheets, projects and games i use.

Needed a new laptop and wanted one with the latest cpu and a good graphics card as a bit of future proofing. This seemed to do the trick. However for this price classed as a “gaming” system you need to be aware of a couple of compromises. The screen is not ips, full hd yes, but it does have issues with viewing angles. Apparently the screen on this does make gaming graphics smoother, but can’t confirm that. My screen seemed to have a very small blemish at the top of the screen, don’t think it’s a dead pixel looks like a slight dent, but hardly noticeable and didn’t think it necessary to return it. Only has 8gb ram which you may want to upgrade to 16gb, best price for this is crucial ddr4 sodimm here on amazon, at least it has 1 8gb stick with a free slot and not 2x 4gb the laptop is very fast though, and the keyboard is great, it’s probably the best laptop keyboard i’ve used and working in it i’ve used a lot of them the bundled backpack is very good, but the mouse is pretty awful which i’ve given away. All-in-all though it’s growing on me :-).

I’m not a massive gamer, but neither am i one to turn my nose up at such a sweet gratis product. After a quick crash (ouch) course form my young cousin i am now enjoying the odd shoot ’em up game with excellent graphics and sound. The product itself is sleek and rather beautiful and comes with a rather nifty carry bag. For more technical information see the product description or read one of the other reviews which are clear and informative. And above all, use responsibly.

Been using this new laptop daily since i got it, it works fantastically.
I got it when it was at £799. I got it when it was at £799 and thought it was a bargain. It took me ages to find a computer that had the latest processor and decent enough graphics card for the price. It boots up in seconds and runs games like fallout 4 at 58-62fps at high settings. It runs pretty quiet when playing games and gets a bit warm but nothing to worry about but i am thinking of getting a cooling pad. The processor is the latest i5 which is nice and the graphics card has 4gb vram which is what you need. 2gb probably isn’t enough in the long run. There are a few downsides: ram can only be upgraded to 16gb, the battery only lasts for about an hour when playing games so needs to be plugged in and the case is quite big and is a fingerprint magnet.
