Exceeds all my expectations. Having resisted buying a apple mac for years i finally took the plunge and have no regrets. No more problems, works as it should. Wish life was always so simple.
Absolutely love it, would recommend it to everyone looking for a laptop, using it for everything.
Well, what can i say, i am an apple fan, i have an imac, an iphone 4s and now i’ve upgraded my white macbook to a macbook pro. It’s so good i no longer use the imac, i’ve left that for the rest of the family to use and now all the programs and data i use is sync’d on the laptop and phone. For ease of use, speed and reliability (they just don’t slow down like pcs, the day i switched to mac was the day the vein in my temple stopped throbbing from pc issues), separation from microsoft (don’t like them at all), the beautiful way mac products interract with one another, the way you don’t need to load in a cd to be able to connect to another piece of hardware, the user interface, and so much more i don’t think i will ever go back to pc. And this laptop will last me well into my 50s and do everything i need. I could gush a lot more but if you’re a fan like me you already know why i like them. And if you’re not a fan, well i wish you well, you’re probably not reading this anyway. Here are the specifications for the Apple MacBook Pro MD102B/A 13-inch Laptop:

to make sure this fits.

- New processors and graphics.
- The fastest, most versatile I/O in a notebook.
- FaceTime HD camera.
- Long lasting battery
I already had a mac book pro, but it was pushing on 6 years old, so an upgrade was required. This was the perfect upgrade.
I am not a ‘tekkie’, and don’t really understand much of what is written in many of the reviews here when people talk about specifications and performance etc. What i will say is that i use a computer for photographs and music and chilling with the t’interweb. I have used a windows pc / laptop for years, and have just become so utterly frustrated with the constant slowing / crashing / updates and lord knows what else that comes along with any windows product. Having had an iphone for the last 3 years, i decided it was time to take the plunge and opt for a macbook. All i can say is ‘why the hell did i wait so long?’. Yes, it takes some getting used to with the differing operating system and controls, but once you do, it’s so user friendly. Individual keys, stopping typo’s and silly mistakes and a back lit keyboard making things easier to see. The screen may be a little smaller, but it is thinner and the resolution is just amazing – and that’s without the retina display variantit feels like a quality product, as well as looking the part.
Reviews from purchasers :
- Simply INCREDIBLE
- A very nice product
- Just what i’ve needed for a while
As my wife had fallen for an iphone, we decided to replace our ageing laptop with a new macbook pro. It really is a nice piece of kit, but after having worked exclusively with windows for the last decade, it takes some getting used to. Browsing for files you have taken from your windows pc (there is a nice migration tool available) is challenging at the start (until you find how to view the files in a way you recognise) and it took me some time to figure out why i was able to edit my wife’s files, but she couldn’t edit her own. Turned out it was due to sharing rights. Anyway, so far no regrets and getting used to the quirky nature of some applications. Update 14 february 2013:after 3 months usage i can say that there are no regrets with buying a mac, startup is quick (as in really fast), the performance is great, the number and variety of included software is a great selection and the build quality is excellent. Some features (setting up a default workflow during ‘printing’ or more accurate, saving as pdf) are a real time saver and put one of the ‘converting from windows to mac’ websites in your favourites to help you get to grips with the differences between windows and os x. Fyi, as some people seem to rate the seller / product combination in a product review, i bought mine from best-dealz.
I absolutely love the apple mac. It is superb quality, built to last. Yes it is a little different to get used too, but doesn’t take long to navigate your way around it as the basics are exactly the same. It will be a great experience to discover exactly what this machine can do, i’m sure i won’t be disappointed. I would never go back to a pc after experiencing the mac book pro. Yes i’m old fashioned and went for the pro as i wanted the dvd drive so as i can download from itues to disc for the children. Such a pleasure to use and so very fast. Love the way it syncs with my other apple products.
